Requests for autopatrolled |
---|
AutopatrolledUser:B3251
I am making a request on behalf of myself, as I sometimes create new articles pretty often (mostly New Brunswick-related). As of right now I have 66 live articles, and I have expanded plenty more. I have had a few deletions: two articles when I was brand new to editing & one list I created in mid-2023 (due to not completely understanding WP:BLPCRIME at the time). Otherwise, my articles have been pretty straightforward and vary in quality, with most being Start/C-class by the time I publish them. I had a little bit of a rough start when it came to "notability knowledge", as many do, but overtime I have grown to have an understanding of WP:GNG and WP:MOS when writing articles. Thanks, B3251 (talk) 11:53, 28 April 2024 (UTC) User:TheGreatestLuvofAll
I have created at least 25 articles that follow WP:NMUSIC and WP:GNG about singers and albums. I am familiar with WP:C, WP:V, and WP:BURDEN in my articles, without copying content without permission, and I make sure my info is sourced in any articles I created. TheGreatestLuvofAll (talk) 12:00, 28 April 2024 (UTC) User:Princess of Ara
I recently noticed this user, Princess of Ara. An editor who works mainly on Nigerian related articles and others. While trying to appreciate the user's effort, I got in love with the lovely articles, well sources, written from a volunteer in good faith and now, I am requesting that she be granted the auto patrol user right. It'll also help reduce heavy backlog of NPP. Thanks for your consideration! Safari ScribeEdits! Talk! 08:05, 30 April 2024 (UTC) User:Prince of Erebor
I have created 75 articles, primarily focused on Sinophone cinema and fantasy literature, with 2 currently undergoing GAN. All of my articles have been promptly reviewed, and none of them have been deleted or marked for maintenance. I am requesting autopatrolled rights to alleviate the workload of the patrollers, especially those who actively review film articles and have reviewed the majority of my articles, allowing them to allocate more time to address articles that truly require attention. As a side note, I am a veteran editor on Chinese Wikipedia, having authored over 200 articles, including a dozen featured and good articles. While I fully understand that there are differences in policies and MOS across different Wikipedias, I believe this demonstrates my credibility and knowledge in assessing article quality.— Prince of Erebor(The Book of Mazarbul) 13:18, 1 May 2024 (UTC) User:Thatbombayboy
I have made many edits, and I think if I can get permission, I will able to contribute more effectively. Thatbombayboy (talk) 11:08, 4 May 2024 (UTC) User:SheriffIsInTown

I work with a bunch of music articles on wikipedia focusing on emo. Most of these are often neglected (usually having no edits for years, borderline AfD, etc). I belive AWB would help me make my job easier by automating the tedious tasks involved and more efficient. 49p (talk) 16:18, 30 April 2024 (UTC)

Hi! I'm working on WP:WikiProject AfroCreatives (and the corresponding frWP and arWP projects) as part of an imminent campaign and I was hoping I can expedite the addition of our newly created {{WikiProject AfroCreatives}} into relevant articles. I would keep it to black-and-white situations where articles are in Category:African films, Category:African actors, etc. Otherwise, if there's a dedicated bot for this kind of requests that I'm not aware of, by all means let me know. I edit pages often and fix WikiLinks, which this is helpful for. I am an Extended Confirmed User; I'm sure there you can see that, but I just wanted to let you know. Anyway, I have seen many edits on pages using this tool, and I read up about it and it seems very useful. Thank you! Thomasbeem (talk) 06:01, 5 May 2024 (UTC) |

Requests for new page reviewer |

New page reviewerUser:PharyngealImplosive7
I was granted new page reviewer rights temporarily and I think that I'm ready to get them permanently since I've tagged and patroled over 50 pages now. I've also tagged many pages for deletion that were unfit for the wiki. Finally, I would like to participate in the May backlog drive. I thank the reviewing admin for their time and hope that I will be granted this perm. – PharyngealImplosive7 (talk) 16:45, 20 April 2024 (UTC)
User:SheriffIsInTown
I regularly create pages and want to save others time from reveiwing pages created by me, in addition to that I would be able to help with the backlog. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 00:22, 22 April 2024 (UTC)
User:Dclemens1971
I have extensive experience with new page creation and expanding stubs into appropriately sourced articles, and I also engage regularly (and constructively!) in AfD debates and PRODs with a good understanding of applicable policies. I'd like to apply this experience by helping out in May with the NPP backlog. Thanks for considering! Dclemens1971 (talk) 21:42, 26 April 2024 (UTC) User:Trlovejoy
Request to participate in the May backlog drive. I have been an editor since 2005. I have knowledge of policies and guidelines. I am a rollbacker and huggle patroller. I have a good record of constructive interaction and moving pages in accordance with guidelines. TRL (talk) 02:05, 27 April 2024 (UTC)
User:BluePenguin18
I have been editing for over four years with ~1K live mainspace edits, including some engagement with the deletion processes and significant article creation including BLPs. With no behavioral blocks or 3RR violations and an understanding of the relevant guidelines (including RfC engagement), I am seeking new page reviewer permissions to join the May 2024 backlog drive. Thanks for reviewing this week's burst of requests ahead of the drive! BluePenguin18 🐧 ( 💬 ) 08:07, 29 April 2024 (UTC) BluePenguin18 🐧 ( 💬 ) 08:07, 29 April 2024 (UTC)

User:Florificapis
I got busy in real life for most of March and April, so my request was put on hold per [1]. Here is my original reason for requesting NPR permissions again. I have over 120 new articles under my belt, mostly relating to medieval history, monasteries, saints, and geographical features. I am familiar with the kinds of content that would fall under CSD criteria, since I have experience wikifying new pages and tagging obviously problematic new pages for speedy deletion. I know the guidelines on notability, proper sourcing, draftifying new articles, rating talk pages using scripts, AfC, AfD, and other essential patrolling tasks. Would be quite happy to reduce the backlog while being cautious and careful. Also currently a Pending Changes Reviewer. Florificapis (talk) 00:09, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
User:TheTechie
I am requesting this permission to help out with the backlog, as the notice came on my watchlist.
I would like to be able to use this permission, even if temporary, to help with the drive, as said above. If you reply here, please ping me. thetechie@enwiki: ~/talk/ $ 03:14, 1 May 2024 (UTC) User:InDimensional
I would like to participate in the NPP backlog drive.
User:Dudhhr
I'd like to volunteer for the NPP drive this month. I was previously granted the right for a trial period in August (expired a month later, extension request declined), and for another trial in December (for the January drive; unfortunately I was inactive as I was busy IRL). I have a bit of content writing experience (Trams in Olsztyn ) and formerly worked in AfC reviewing. – dudhhr talkcontribssheher 17:19, 1 May 2024 (UTC) User:GWA88
Hi. I've been on a two month trial as a new page reviewer and was told to reapply about a week before my trial ends. I hope my contributions have been positive and that I can continue helping out. Thanks! GWA88 (talk) 22:51, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
User:Anwegmann
Hello. I was granted new page reviewer privileges several months ago with instructions to base my voting and reviews more on policy than opinion in order to earn full-time privileges. I have made great efforts to do just that, taking part in quite a few AfDs and becoming familiar with the policies surrounding AfDs, both concerning voting in them and creating them myself. I have actively engaged by fellow editors, using policy and precedent both to vote, recommend new pages for deletion when necessary, and argue for my positions in particularly active AfDs. I am here requesting full-time new page reviewer privileges, as I feel as though I have fulfilled both the requirements of the position and the suggestions given me over the last few months. Thank you for your consideration. Anwegmann (talk) 00:19, 2 May 2024 (UTC)
User:B3251
I would like to help out with the backlog. I’m very familiar with the content policies, having created 71 active articles (most being non-stubs) as of making this request. I’ve additionally had some experience in participating in discussions, handling deletion templates, and moving new articles with significant issues to the draft space. B3251 (talk) 10:57, 2 May 2024 (UTC) User:LEvalyn
I'd like to join the backlog drive. I'm an AfC reviewer and a while back TechnoSquirrel suggested I try NPP. I'm finally tempted enough to try! ~ L 🌸 (talk) 02:49, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
User:TarnishedPath
I participated in the December backlog drive, being granted a trial. At the end of the trial I requested permanent NPP, which was denied with the denying admin expressing concern that I hadn't created any articles. I've since created an article about Neeraj Gupta (refer to User_talk:TarnishedPath/Archive_2#Your_submission_at_Articles_for_creation:_Neeraj_Gupta_(sculptor)_has_been_accepted) and been responsible for the bulk of the material in the newly created article Bruce Lehrmann. I had been working on Draft:Bruce Lehrmann but someone else started work on Bruce Lehrmann just as I submitted Draft:Bruce Lehrmann to AfC so I ended up merging my work over to the mainspace article and issuing a CSD for deletion of the draft. I've continued to be semi-regularly involved with AfD. I'm applying because I got a notification a while ago that there was a backlog drive for May and I'm willing to help out a bit with that. Pending changes reviewerUser:Sunnyboi18
Hello, I'am applying again for Pending Changes Reviewer, as it was felt by a person who reviewed this that my request was "all over the place" and that "I didn't understand that PC rights are". I don't think that's fair. I was simply just giving my experience and of having done 632 edits on Wiki involving mostly updating critical information, having been an Editor since Feburary 2021, and being familiar with Wiki Guidelines & Copyright and understanding the importance of making sure the info on Wiki is correct, and preventing Vandalism. And other requests saying that exact same stuff were approved, so not sure what to say but, I'am aware of the importance and privliege of this permission, and would like my request to be considered fairly, as it did not feel like that was the case the first time, based on the response that I got. I have a history of cleaning up grammar, removing and refactoring uncited content and fixing citations. I'm hoping to maybe expand my editing scope a bit. Allan Nonymous (talk) 17:10, 1 May 2024 (UTC) User:CanonNi
Hi. I recently got Rollback rights, so I thought it would be nice to have PCR rights as well. The main reason I would like this right is to further deal with vandalism, and accepting good edits. Although the pending changes backlog is not as high as... some other backlogs I could mention, I would still like to help with reviews. Thanks for considering my request!

RollbackUser:Lynch44
I have been reverting vandalism as an account for about a month now, and have familiarized myself with Twinkle as well. Also note the 20,000 edits, mostly anti-vandal, that I made as an IP. Lynch44 (talk) 01:49, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
User:CanonNi
Hello. I'm re-applying for Rollback rights a month after my previous was declined. During the past month, I've actively patrolled RecentChanges, reverting bad-faith edits and warning editors with Ultraviolet, and increasing my edit count to over 6500. I've also gained a thorough understanding of relevant policies, such as WP:VAN. In addition, I was granted AfC reviewer and NPP rights. The main reason I would like Rollback rights is to revert vandalism and disruptive editing quicker and easier, as well as the usage of more advanced tools such as AntiVandal and Huggle. Thanks for considering my request!
User:Wiiformii
Hello! For about the past month, I've been patrolling recent changes and have gotten to know Ultraviolet well as I consistently warn users who make unconstructive and bad-faith edits. I am requesting rollback rights to further enhance my patrolling by using tools such as AntiVandal which will speed up the process greatly and Huggle which is a helpful tool to have to combat vandalism. Rollback also makes my reverts faster and more efficient allowing me to respond faster and better. Wiiformii (talk) 15:00, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
