Removal of PROD from Isthmian-Atlantic moist forest

Hello Airplaneman, this is an automated message from SDPatrolBot to inform you the PROD template you added to Isthmian-Atlantic moist forest has been removed. It was removed by ThaddeusB with the following edit summary '(remove prod - history has been merged - will cleanup shortly)'. Please consider discussing your concerns with ThaddeusB before pursuing deletion further yourself. If you still think the article should be deleted after communicating with the 'dePRODer,' you may want to send the article to AfD for community discussion. Thank you, SDPatrolBot (talk) 00:18, 5 August 2009 (UTC) (Learn how to opt out of these messages)

OK. I'm fine with it. I'll tell Thaddeus. All good. Airplaneman talk 01:10, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Adam Lambert straw poll on including/removing "Order #" and "Results" columns from the performances section

Hi, this may seem rather trivial but I'm trying to gauge community consensus on including or removing "Order #" and "Results" columns from the performances section on theAdam Lambert article which you have been in some way recently involved. The poll is here. Your time is appreciated. -- Banjeboi 21:28, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

Your sig

Hello. I noticed that your sig has some invalid CSS in it. The "size=2" part doesn't do anything. --- RockMFR 01:54, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads up. Is it because Wikipedia's default font size is 2? Airplanemantalk 06:20, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
P.S. I might not respond swiftly; I'm on vacation. Airplaneman talk 06:20, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Romance on PJ

I think we could probably add it to the article. What do you think? Thanks! PrincessofLlyr (talk) 17:35, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Go ahead! It's definitely better than the current one. Remember, Wikipedia's a work in progress. Regards, Airplaneman talk06:01, 16 August 2009 (UTC)
Done! PrincessofLlyr (talk) 20:35, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

Hello

From User:Ikip

Hello Ikip, I'm Airplaneman. Nice to meet you. I stumbled upon your talk page after clicking link after link after link away from 7's current RfA. I was wondering if I could use your "Please don't bite the newcomers" banner on my talk page. Thanks; see you around Wikipedia! Airplaneman talk19:55, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Ikip (talk) 20:32, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Happy editing, have a wonderful weekend. take care. Ikip (talk) 20:45, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Warrior Heir etc.

Have you read Cinda Williams Chima's Warrior Heir, Wizard Heir, and Dragon Heir? I'm thinking about starting articles for them, but I would really love to partner with someone more experienced and I have no idea where to start! Thanks! PrincessofLlyr (talk) 20:47, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, I haven't. I think the best approach is to start the articles in your sandbox or by creating a user subpage and then create the pages when the time is right. I can do some research and or read the books. That way, you can just really start by jotting down information. I can help you organize the info and stuff. What'll really be a challenge is to make sure the articles have references. I love article building and can't wait to get started! Airplaneman talk20:53, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
Sounds great! I definately have the most trouble with the details of it. I can write an article and research info, but organizing it and trying to follow all the Wiki guidelines is what catches me. If you wanted to do some of that you probably wouldn't even have to read the books! I probably won't start today, but it will be sometime soon. Thanks! PrincessofLlyr (talk) 20:59, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
OK, so are you going to start them all in your sandbox or by creating subpages for each one? Let me know when you begin! Airplaneman talk21:02, 17 August 2009 (UTC)

Do you

Do you work for the competition ? lol My posting was no different from the other papers. Sai99 (talk) 02:46, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

If you must know, I don't work for the competition. I'm a Wikipedia volunteer, sacrificing some of my own time to help improve this encyclopedia. Please specify which other papers you were mentioning. Regards, Airplaneman talk 03:43, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for your participation in my recent RfA. I will do my very best not to betray the confidence you have shown me. NICE Installation

I can see from your monobook.js that you have the line of code for NICE installed, but our system hasn't picked you up yet. I've manually added you to the full feature set version so that the next time you undo a revision, you should see the interface. Make bypass your cache to make sure the new javascript gets loaded. --EpochFail(talk|contribs) 14:49, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

Oh and too answer your question about the survey. Don't worry about it now. The survey was intended to be filled out by editors who used bits and pieces ofNICE before the full feature set was available. Since you just signed up, I've added you directly to the full feature set. Don't sweat it though. We will be interested in your feedback after you have had a chance to use the tool a little. Thanks for participating. Please let me know if you run into any trouble or have any ideas for new features that would make your work easier.--EpochFail(talk|contribs) 15:13, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

Thanks! I'm looking forward to trying it! Regards, Airplaneman talk 17:03, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Jonathan y. dee

The article Jonathan y. dee has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no claims of notability, no references to 3rd party sources

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or onthe article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. RadioFan (talk) 03:30, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

I'll see what can be done. Note that I'm not the creator of the article :). Airplanemantalk 16:43, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
I'm afraid I'm going to back up the prod with a prod-2. Airplaneman talk 19:31, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

Contest update

Well, it's just 1 day until the contest begins, so I thought I'd check in with everyone and make sure you're all ready to go. First I'd like everyone to check outthe main contest page and read over the rules and the scoring system. If you have any final questions or concerns, make them known on the talk page. Wikipedia:WikiProject Aviation/Contest/History/2009 is the scoreboard that will be updated, you can watchlist it. Check out Wikipedia:WikiProject Aviation/Contest/Submissions which shows how your submission page should look. Another example is at Wikipedia:WikiProject Aviation/Contest/Submissions Example, and your personal page should be listed at the footer of the page, which is also at Wikipedia:WikiProject Aviation/Contest/Users. Again, take any questions to the contest talk page.

Good luck! - Trevor MacInnis contribs20:54, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi

Hi! Thanks so much for the welcome! I am wondering how I make sure I have corrected the language on my page so that it is neutral and the warning can be removed. I am not sure how to contact whoever tagged it as such. Also, is this the right way to talk? I have been reading too many rules and guidelines so I keep forgetting them. And any other suggestions or helpful hints? Thanks again!

Amkeeley10 (talk) 17:46, 5 September 2009 (UTC)

Heh... I was the one who tagged it. It was a close call, but some of the text sounded a bit promotional. The article is very well-written, though :). Itlooks like you took care of it. I'll remove the tag. I'll be back with a few suggestions when I have the time. Happy editing! Regards, Airplanemantalk 18:29, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
