How am I doing?

Hi Anbu, I saw that I was the first person to edit Chennai today as part of the COTM. I've done a few bits of rewording here and there with adding two refs. How am I doing? --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 10:38, 1 September 2012 (UTC)

Fantastic. Keep Rocking! I am bit surprised to see you asking me how you are doing. You are a much more senior editor than me. I just created the Chennai COTM page, after seeing the level of collaboration that happened in Chennai MRTS article. COTM is just a platform to bring the efforts of around 10 people together on a single article at a time. Doing so would give us a much more effective result than what could be achieved if all of us edit different articles. I would like COTM to be as informal as possible. This is going to a combined responsibility of all of us. --Anbu121 (talk me) 16:16, 1 September 2012 (UTC)

Rajiv Gandhi Salai

Hi Anbu, I've put up a Movenotice on Rajiv Gandhi Salai suggesting that it be renamed to Old Mahabalipuram Road. What do you say? --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 10:06, 2 September 2012 (UTC)

I searched on news articles in Hindu and Times of India for common name. Both OMR and RG Salai are being equally used by the media. We need to do some more deep analysis. --Anbu121 (talk me) 17:53, 3 September 2012 (UTC)
True, but that article is written like an essay and the name seems to promote it a lot. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 19:37, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

'But why?'

You asked but why in your edit summary. I assume you are asking why did I choose Bangalore over Chennai? Okay let me first assure you that I don't have a problem with any of those. I was choosing top cities from East (Kolkata), West (Mumbai), North (Delhi) & South (Chennai/Bangalore) India. Then I took a look at the table 2 of Indian census which ranks Bangalore way above Chennai in south India. Hence my change from Chennai to Bangalore. I hope you understand. Now with this explaination I am restoring the image of Bangalore. okay?

P.S. Please don't take offence to this change. You may give me {{tb}} on my talk. Mrt3366(Talk?) (New thread?) 06:32, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

The template shows chennai in the 4th place. So, I think pics of top 4 in the list must be shown. --Anbu121 (talk me) 07:41, 7 September 2012 (UTC)
Check this discussion that is simultaneously taking place. Besides, nobody said that we can only show images of the first four cities according to the template's list according to urban agglomerations. Check this table. Mrt3366(Talk?) (New thread?) 08:02, 7 September 2012 (UTC)
Don't engage in an edit war. There is not need for that. I hope you're familiar with WP:3RR? Discuss, and do not be egoistic. It's not about winning dear. These four images are specifically chosen to show the countries top four urbanizations from four different regions. Please don't revert blindly. Mrt3366(Talk?) (New thread?) 08:11, 7 September 2012 (UTC)
You have mentioned "Feel free to revert" in your edit summary, and now you are telling me not to revert. Please show some integrity. I have not reverted blindly. Didn't you saw the edit summary? I will reply at the discussion. --Anbu121 (talk me) 08:41, 7 September 2012 (UTC)
Errr... if it isn't necessary to have images of only the top four cities, can I replace all four with pictures of Pune, Coimbatore, Kochi, and Hyderabad ??? --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 19:39, 7 September 2012 (UTC)
Chosen by whom? And it's a little strange for the pictures not to match the table, if that really is the choice. As for an edit war, I see two participants. Kerfuffler (talk) 20:57, 7 September 2012 (UTC)
Hey, the pictures I suggested are very much in the list. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 13:14, 9 September 2012 (UTC)

September 2012

Hello, I'm Balablitz. I noticed that you recently removed some content without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. The removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hi Anbu121, I accept your suggestion to create a separate article. I am working on it. Meanwhile, a year back i added those two names on their respective alma mater. they're indeed notable alumni. I could even welcomed the suggestion of deleting it on my own when i knew how to add them. Am a still a newbie in exploring wikipedia. I'd be pleased to know if you are the greatest specialist in their field or an alumnus of those respective institutions or admin of those pages or whatever?

Thank you once again for giving me a good suggestion.

I'd like to seek help from you in future, in creating a article in Wikipedia. Balablitz (talk) 12:33, 10 September 2012 (UTC)

Mind what you say. I have not removed any content without explaining them. I challenge you to provide the diff, if you think I did so. There are no admins responsible for any pages. Anybody can edit any page, subject to Wikipedia policies and guidelines. Regarding your query, please read Wikipedia:Notability (people). --Anbu121 (talk me) 14:12, 10 September 2012 (UTC)

INCOTM

Hi, this is just an informal invitation to nominate and vote at this months India Collaboration of the Month. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 13:11, 15 September 2012 (UTC)

Hi Anbu121,
I had been chasing some Signet IPs around when I came to their unexplained mass content deletions at the Meena (actress) page on 3 September 2012‎ . I had a look at some of the other edits there and noticed the 'edit warring' over her year of birth. I reverted another IP year change, but then I found that the source (here) did not directly support the date of birth, only the year. This obliquely too when it says ".. thirty three years old ..." in 2009. So her birth year could be 1976, or 1975 if the "September 16" is correct.
If it can't be confirmed then the date should probably be removed, or "circa 1975-1976" put in its place. Thoughts? - 220 of Borg 06:42, 16 September 2012 (UTC)

I have added a ref for DOB. --Anbu121 (talk me) 10:38, 16 September 2012 (UTC)

Triplicane article

Dear Anbu. Triplicane article has now been, to some extent, revamped. But still I feel it doesn't qualify for a C class. Although there are about 63 references in the article, the information is still meager in an encyclopedic parlance. Let's try editing it keeping South Side, Chicago (or similar featured ones) as a model. Still, a long way to go. Let's try to find more statistical information about the area (preferably from government sources, which I feel would bolster the References section). Seeking your opinion. :) Rasnaboy (talk) 08:39, 19 September 2012 (UTC)

Chennai Collaboration of the Month

Dear Anbu. Thanks for the notification. Just wondering what to nominate, as we all are still with the Chennai main article. There's a lot to do in it, and am currently concentrating on individual sections one by one. Hope the other editors too are doing the same. Can we nominate another article for this month, or should we continue with the current one? Rasnaboy (talk) 17:53, 20 September 2012 (UTC)

Hey Anbu121. I'm dropping you a note because you used to patrol new pages. This is just to let you know that we've deployed and developed Page Curation, which augments and supersedes Special:NewPages - there are a lot of interesting new features if you want to get back into the swing of patrolling :). Deletion of unwanted details from Arcot article

Hi!Anbu ,kindly have a relook at the article Arcot,is it necessary to give details like cell phone numbers in Wikipedia?I don't guess this is "yellow pages".And kindly help in not making Wikipedia an advertisement forum. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Aks bhatt (talkcontribs) 18:14, 1 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi Anbu, please have a look at the nominations. I don't think re nominating Chennai is a good idea, atleast not this month. We can still get it to GA. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 19:41, 1 October 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion contested: Vitthal Kamat

Hello Anbu121. I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of Vitthal Kamat, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: There is sufficient context to identify the subject of the article, so A1, doesn't apply, however, the article does not assert enough credible significance, so I have re-tagged it as an A7. Thank you. --v/r Electric Catfish (talk) 11:52, 3 October 2012 (UTC)

Sufficient Context? Which Business? which hotel? --Anbu121 (talk me) 11:56, 3 October 2012 (UTC)
This was an article about as person that you tagged as an A1, but had enough context to identify the subject, but still didn't credibly assert significance, so I tagged it as an A7 and removed your A1 tags. --v/r Electric Catfish (talk) 12:10, 3 October 2012 (UTC)
Yes, I am also talking about the same page. It just said the person is a businessman, nothing else. That's not sufficient context to identify the subject. --Anbu121 (talk me) 12:14, 3 October 2012 (UTC)
It said his name and what he does. An example of an A1 is if it just said his name. Either way, it did not assert enough significance and I tagged it as an A7, and it was deleted as an A7. --v/r Electric Catfish (talk) 12:16, 3 October 2012 (UTC)
Well, I could not "identify" the subject with just the single word 'businessman'. --Anbu121 (talk me) 12:24, 3 October 2012 (UTC)

What is different from husband and wives? LOL

Isn't husband and wives exactly the same? In my opinion husband sounds much better. That's why I edited. And what is wrong with that? From a Catolic btw. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.166.134.36 (talk) 14:38, 4 October 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for fixing my screw-up on this, which may have been the first SPI I've filed in 4+ years of editing. I was in the process of re-filing it in the right space and asking for db-7 on the error, but you caught it first. Your help is most appreciated. Best, --Arxiloxos (talk) 15:24, 4 October 2012 (UTC)

How about you pay attention and read the Talk page.

I removed the 21st century paragraph because it was ill informed and not noteworthy. Just because there were a few sickos on youtube who made comments referencing the 2011 Tōhoku tsunami disaster to anything related to 70 year old World War II issues doesn't mean it's worthy of a wikipedia entry, furthermore just because someone with a blog or publishing ability on a website sees these comments and decides to write an article about it purely shows bad journalistic and investigative qualities on their behalf. I'm going to remove it again and would kindly ask that it not be repurposed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.94.7.228 (talk) 18:21, 5 October 2012 (UTC)

I didn't blindly reverted it. I have heard of this news. Its not just the one source cited there. Here are some more: [1], [2], [3] --Anbu121 (talk me) 18:39, 5 October 2012 (UTC)

Regarding Tamil Nadu new Legislature & Secretariat Complex - Deletion

  • Hi Respected user: Anbu121, thank you for your kind information
  • Reason 1: The article Tamil Nadu legislative assembly-secretariat complex proposed for merging so only i have created this article.
  • Reason 2: In real (Normal) the term Tamil Nadu legislative assembly - Secretariat refers Fort St. George (article Fort St. George (India)), to differentiate it i have created this article. Because it is easy to people for better understanding
  • Request: Please kindly remove the deletion tag because i will improve this article to meet the Wikipedia Standards & Requirements

Integrity

Don't delete mass content just because you are the ambassador of integrity. Discuss on talk page and provide links from which you think the content has been entirely copy pasted. I must tell you, a similar debate has already taken place. The duplication tells that the content is not entirely copy pasted and hence shouldn't be removed for the same. It's a vague case of close paragraphing. You may submit the duplication report to support your claim. Thank you.-- I'm Titanium  chat 15:06, 14 October 2012 (UTC)

Per this report she has landed a second role. Have changed my vote based on new info. Please have faith in me. If you want proof of what we'll do see the diff. I cut it to nothing and expanded properly with sources and quality. I intend promoting Varanasi to GA eventually. But we can't even begin to work on it like it is. Don't worry, much of the sourced content will be restored in the next few days with improvements. Would you not like to see those sources replaced with quality books like in Marrakech? Look at the former version of Marrakech, you don't want to see a similar improvement in quality to Varanasi? See the diff for Mother India [4]. See the diffs for Chamba, Himachal Pradesh and Dal Lake, do you not want to see Varanasi as GA?♦ Dr. ☠ Blofeld 20:10, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
You don't need to blank the article to rewrite it. You can rewrite it taking one paragraph at a time.--Anbu121 (talk me) 20:15, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
My fellow writers Nvv is especially motivated by DYK. Existing expansions need a five times expansion to be viable for a DYK. We are planning a multi hook with Varanasi and articles on temples as one hook. In order to achieve this each article will need a full 5 times expansion. Unfortunately yes, DYK doesn't take into account quality improvement and values quantity over quality. but its daunting trying to edit in the current condition, much easier to swiftly start from scratch, rewriting and properly sourcing the existing content.♦ Dr. ☠ Blofeld 20:34, 24 October 2012 (UTC)

In regards to Pakistan and India, I'd love to have article on every village with quality sourced text. But we have too many articles not being watched and poor quality POV material accumulating in the mainspace. Articles like Kulgam are more damaging than if they were missing. I think we'd be better off removing any article of low quality ad strictly regulating what is restarted. The chances of a native Indian or Pakistani editing writing an article of high quality with proper sourcing is extremely slim. There is only a few quality guys like you and a few others like Red Tiger etc we have for India.♦ Dr. ☠ Blofeld 20:38, 24 October 2012 (UTC)

Please stop giving silly reasons and mind that your comments here as well as at the village pump is drifting towards racism. --Anbu121 (talk me) 20:47, 24 October 2012 (UTC)

How dare you accuse me of racism. I've worked extensively with several Indian editors on here including User:Shshshsh, Dwaipanc and Red Tiger and Nvvchar. Nvv is an Indian editor and I greatly enjoy working with him and he'd undoubtedly agree the quality of general Indian and Pakistan articles are appalling and that there are too many articles to even begin to try to produce quality. I have made a proposal for quite the opposite reason, I care much about the Indosphere and want to see quality and respect for its articles and culture.♦ Dr. ☠ Blofeld 21:39, 24 October 2012 (UTC)

What else could I call this: "The chances of a native Indian or Pakistani editing writing an article of high quality with proper sourcing is extremely slim." --Anbu121 (talk me) 21:41, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
How is that racist? It is a fact that the average Indian or Pakistani visitor to wikipedia lacks proficient English and knowledge of sourcing and what is appropriate to wikipedia. Editors who produce quality content for India on wikipedia I can count on my two hands, yourself included. Editors like Red Tiger and Dwaipanc represent every Indian visitor to wikipedia eh? We can thousands and thousands of vistors from India and Pakistan every day, how many of them produce good content for us? Yes, you could argue that most visitors to wikipedia produce nothing of substance but it is a fact that most visitors from Indian and Pakistan editing on here are not proficient and don't know what is appropriate.♦ Dr. ☠ Blofeld 21:45, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Please treat every editor or visitor with the same amount of respect. It is inappropriate to curse people based on their proficiency in English. --Anbu121 (talk me) 21:56, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Its got absolutely nothing to do with respect. "Cursing" people, how dare you. If I went onto Hindi wikipedia and started editing naturally I would be unable to produce quality content in that language. It doesn't make me a lesser person but it makes me a poorly equipped editor to produce good content. None of the visitors to English wikipedia from India and Pakistan do I consider a lesser human being, in fact some of them are probably extremely intelligent and capable people. But you only have to browse through the average Indosphere article to see that even if the English is OK it generally lacks good editing and plagued with POV. There is an obvious lack of quality and understanding of what is appropiate in general, you've taken this personally as you are clearly one of the very few native editors capable of producing good content but you think I'm insulting you and your people which is absolute nonsense. ♦ Dr. ☠ Blofeld 22:08, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
At least these are not very respectful statements: "Decent English editors don't want to read the crap written by somebody with a poor command of English", "some poor English speaking local is going to turn up at some point " --Anbu121 (talk me) 22:23, 24 October 2012 (UTC)

(tsp) I'd say that The chances of a native Indian or Pakistani editing writing an article of high quality with proper sourcing is extremely slim certainly comes across as borderline racism. And, in fact some of them are probably extremely intelligent and capable people sounds condescending. --regentspark (comment) 01:55, 25 October 2012 (UTC)

(talk page stalker)@Dr. Blofeld, i am not sure of what you wanna do for the DYK. But if you are gonna blank the article making it say 50 characters and then have 50X5 characters and call that as "expansion", i don't think thats how it is supposed to be. Correct me if i wrongly interpreted your intention. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 05:23, 25 October 2012 (UTC)
If the blanked portion of the article was unencyclopedic content, that's perfectly fine for DYK. Earlier this summer I got Dan Oates to DYK. When I discovered it, the article had 3,494 bytes, it had 13,249 when I nominated it for DYK; however, prior to expansion, copyrighted material was removed so the expansion started from 853. Ryan Vesey 05:25, 27 October 2012 (UTC)
Individuals will vary in reacting to the comments. While some might find the remarks bordering on racism, some will sense the frustration of a very well-meaning editor who is fed up seeing the poor quality of innumerable articles. After all these years of interaction that I had with Dr Blofeld, I don't have an iota of doubt that he is far from being a racist person! However, comments here have exasperated other editors. Perhaps the not-so-much-politically-correct choice of words is the reason.
We know conflict of views is common in wiki editing, right? I hope this thread will end in a happy note :) Regarding the article Varanasi, I have commented in the tall page of wikiproject India.--Dwaipayan (talk) 00:00, 26 October 2012 (UTC)

Merging Porul ilakkanam to Tamil grammar

I have proposed that Porul ilakkanam be merged to Tamil grammar. Since you recently discussed the articles at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Porul ilakkanam, I would welcome any comments you may have on the proposed merge. The discussion is at Talk:Tamil grammar#Merge discussion. Thanks, and happy editing. Cnilep (talk) 04:15, 25 October 2012 (UTC)

Canvassing

Anbu, please don't add comments like "help needed" following your signature because it gives a clear impression of canvassing, as you recently did in WT:IN. There are lot of substitutes which can be used instead. Regards. Secret of success (talk) 06:37, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

It was Vandalism and I was on the verge of 3RR. I didn't canvassed for any discussion or voting. --Anbu121 (talk me) 07:12, 27 October 2012 (UTC)
Nevertheless, asking someone to explicitly help you in an issue is equivalent to canvassing. Just saying. Secret of success (talk) 07:36, 27 October 2012 (UTC)
I initially requested for page protection. But, there was no response from there. Except for ANI, no other notice board will have quick response. I didn't want to take this to ANI and hence I had no other option. Probably, I shouldn't have used the word 'Help'. --Anbu121 (talk me) 07:59, 27 October 2012 (UTC)

List of cities in Uttar Pradesh

25 asked me to nom it, admittedly I didn't look too much into it. I've requested closure seems as it clearly has a lot of work needed. But why didn't you and Vensatry add those comments at the peer review, did 25 not leave a note on the India noticeboard? The whole point of a peer review is to identify problems, it failed big time to do just that.♦ Dr. ☠ Blofeld 14:30, 28 October 2012 (UTC)

No. There wasn't any messages at the Noticeboard about the peer review. --Anbu121 (talk me) 14:48, 28 October 2012 (UTC)
Another blunder then. As this could have been properly prepared for FLC before nomination. Lucknow coordinates were wrong, well spotted.♦ Dr. ☠ Blofeld 15:13, 28 October 2012 (UTC)
  • Hello respected user Anbu121. Thank you for advise. I am going to edit this article fully, after that, it is good to meet Wiki Standards.

Copying two or three lines from five different sources and quoting the sources as references is still copyright violation. Any copyright violation is liable for immediate deletion. Please rewrite the articles in encyclopedic prose in your own words. --Anbu121 (talk me) 19:02, 29 October 2012 (UTC)

Hi Anbu121. Do you know who this might be? The image comes from the Kremlin website and has this caption:

BANGALORE, INDIA. During a visit to the Infosys company. On the right, the chairman of the board of directors, N.R. Narayana Murthy. Photo by the Presidential Press Service

The original uncropped photo has this person walking and talking with Vladimir Putin, so he must be someone important. INeverCry 19:19, 30 October 2012 (UTC)

No, I could not recognize who that is. But I am sure, he is not Narayana murthy or any of the co-founders of Infosys. Narayana murthy is actually at the extreme left of the original photograph (to the right of Vladimar Putin) --Anbu121 (talk me) 19:43, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for the quick response. I see Murthy next to Putin looking down as you say. I wonder who this guy is then? If you ever find out, let me know or edit the image description. The image itself was tagged for speedy deletion, which is what brought it to my attention. I'll have to switch it back to unidentified. INeverCry 19:54, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
Try asking at Wikipedia talk:Noticeboard for India-related topics. Someone there could identify. --Anbu121 (talk me) 20:03, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
Good idea. Thanks for the suggestion. I've posted a message there. INeverCry 20:35, 30 October 2012 (UTC)

Porto Metro navbox

Thanks for the move to Template: Porto Metro navbox. Silly me. Sw2nd (talk) 21:19, 30 October 2012 (UTC)

your recent edit of changing vijay's current photo is not satisfactory

please don't give silly excuses for removing a freely licensed current picture of vijay .You have removed it since its a promotional picture from thuppaki team and u have said that "Usage criteria of the image license is not compatible with usage on this article. The image is licensed only for promotion of thupakki film, hence cannot be used on this article".how silly is it? Actually the thuppaki team has released it without watermark which means anybody can used it anywhere not only for promoting the film, they have not given any license for that picture therefore your statement is completely wrong and r they going file a case against wikipedia LOL:):) and also as per your logic many actors pic in articles such as vikram, surya was all promotional pics for their films such as raavan and ratha charitha etc, please stop this if u keep on doing like this there wont be a good article of the actor. If u dont like the actor dont do like this.Be neutral in wikipedia.there is no such rule in wiki to remove a actors picture for being a promotional picture of his film. you yourself create the rules i think stop your illogical edit. Anyway thanks for your cooperation in wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bothiman (talkcontribs) 10:37, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

Dude iam really disappointed with you placing a deletion template in my photo of vijay

First of all do you know what is free art licence? In free art licence, source is not important if possible you can provide a source please read the rules about how to use free art licence in this free art licence user guide read this http://artlibre.org/licence/lal/en — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stylishedit (talkcontribs) 13:11, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

Please read this : Commons:Essential_information --Anbu121 (talk me) 13:14, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

dude commons essential licence is different and free art licence is totally different c my licence its free art licence

I think you r confused with both free art licence and commons licence .commons licence needs source compulsory but free art licence doesnt need a source my photo falls under the category of free art licence try to understand dont keep on placing deletion template in my photo its not fair — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.174.4.53 (talk) 13:22, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

You have to provide a proof that the image you uploaded is indeed free image. --Anbu121 (talk me) 13:25, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

you r making me laugh dude if it is not a free image automatically the sinebot or the cluebot of wikipedia will place the speedy deletion template they will notice the file immediately but in my case since it is released without watermark(copyrights) .wikipedia itself has accepted it and placed its own watermark. more than this nobody will explain it to you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.174.4.53 (talk) 13:32, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

Images without watermark are not necessarily free image. --Anbu121 (talk me) 13:35, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

r u playing pranks with me dude do know what is watermark? lol .If the owner of the image release a photo without watermark then its automatically understood its a free image and he wants to distribute his rights of the photo with everyone freely:):) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.174.4.53 (talk) 13:41, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

No. You are Wrong. Please read Wikipedia:Image_copyright_tags#For_image_creators and Wikipedia:Image_use_policy#Free_licenses. An image can be termed as free image only if it is explicitly released (by the person who took the photograph) under any of these licenses: GFDL, CCBYSA3, FAL, Attribution, Public domain. Else, it is not a free image even if it doesn't have watermark. --Anbu121 (talk me) 13:53, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

"you read this paragraph Wikipedia encourages users to upload their own images. All user-created images must be licensed under a free license, such as the GFDL and/or an acceptable Creative Commons license, or released into the public domain, which removes all copyright and licensing restrictions. When licensing an image, it is best practice to multi-license under both GFDL and a Creative Commons license."since Iam not the owner I have published it under FAL. In FAL if you know name of the author, date of photo then tats more than enough but since iam not the creator of the photo I have not published it under GFDL or your commons licence this is what your wiki rules saysa and Iam the one who is right. what is your problem dude stop this playing:):) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stylishedit (talkcontribs) 14:09, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

If you are not the owner, you have no rights to publish it under any of the licenses. Only the person who took the photograph has the right to choose which license he wants to publish it. If you upload a photograph which is owned by some one else, a proof has to be given that the image was released under any of these free licenses. --Anbu121 (talk me) 14:18, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

this is really so silly from you lol then there will be no photos of anyone in wikipedia if only the person who took the photograph should publish — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stylishedit (talkcontribs) 14:20, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

May sound silly to you, but it is absolutely true. That's why we have Wikipedia:Non-free content. Non-free content should be used only if free image is impossible to obtain. --Anbu121 (talk me) 14:26, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

dude r u thala fan? Iam also the same but in wikipedia you have to be neutral I will treat everyone as the same but I dont know about you. for the above statement I have already replied you with the proof that mine is a free image :) my hands r paining dude by explaining it to you:{ please stop this:( — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stylishedit (talkcontribs) 14:32, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

If the image is taken by the cinematographer of the film, it is not free image unless the cinematographer or producer of the film releases it under any of the five licenses explicitly. It is not free image unless you provide a proof that it is released under any of the free license. --Anbu121 (talk me) 14:38, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

hello wikipedia has placed its own substitute watermarker c this u will find it in the comments section of my photo which means it has accepted my photo as a free image more than this i cannot make u understand byeee dude it was a nice tym chatting wid u:) {subst:Upload marker added by en.wp UW}} — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stylishedit (talkcontribs) 14:46, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

That's not watermarking. That's a substitute template indicating that the file was uploaded through upload wizard. --Anbu121 (talk me) 16:23, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
