20-21 ISL clubs name

I can understand your concern, we generally don't write FC again and again, and we are not writing names based on places, we just exclude FC and this is how the standard is. I have added a welcome note at your talk page, check this and go through the guidelines, you need to learn a lot, but don't worry, it's a matter of time. Generally a significant contributor should go for GAN as the contributor is much familiar with article. However, the article is no where near to GA, there are lot of MOS and Citation issues exist in the article. Anyway, the first thing you must do is to go for WP:GOCER, once the copyedit finishes, we can then work on mos and structure. After that it will be all good to go for GAN. Admin does not do these things, they will only advise you to visit WP:MOS or WP:RS, WP:V etc guidelines. You can visit mos guidelines and if you can revamp the section based on mos, otherwise I think ArsenalFan700 will surely do it.Drat8sub (talk) 15:17, 29 September 2020 (UTC)

SHISHIR DUA, well. European name having "de xyz" means "of xyz" means of the place xyz, or sometimes you have seen "de la" meaning "of the". So no European source will call him "Alex Lima" from the name "Alex Monteiro de Lima" rather Alex Monteiro. Only Indian websites will amke those mistake who have no idea what they are calling. A similar example you can take of Arabic names of player, like Fahad bin Ahamed, one cannot write his names as Fahad Ahmed, because "bin" means "son of". So Fahad son of Ahmed does not become Fahad Ahmed. I hope you understand. With respect to your views that the crest has been used once in the page, I do believe that it is a complete different section. IAmPushpak, please read guidelines. You can use such non free logo once in an article. And it's not necessary when we are showing the present logo just below the infobox. Keep the draft and if you find any other good citation where more details about him given add them and update the draft. But at this moment you need to wait for a match for WP:FOOTYN/WP:NFOOTY. Reliability of sources

Hi user:Drat8sub I have a doubt, can we make edits on isl teams Wikipedia pages based on rumours like signed or set to sign (not in talks or advanced talks) from trustworthy sources like khel now and goal or should we need to wait till the club confirms the signing of that player which was confirmed by those trustworthy source before. There should not be any doubt. Rumour and set to be signed is not equal to confirmed signing and is not officially signed. Thus nothing should be added if there is no confirmation. Drat8sub (talk) 12:01, 4 October 2020 (UTC)

I am afraid that, from the comments already been made in the discussion, it seems a consensus have reached that the topic cannot pass WP:BASIC/WP:ANYBIO/WP:JOURNALIST. And never do whataboutery or Other Stuffs exist in any discussion, you will lose the battle before it starts. A team can have a Japanese, an Australian, a Vietnamese, a Saudi, an Iranian etc. Until and unless we have officially confirmed information about other players or any confirmation from the club or league that he is an AFC player, we cannot add that. Drat8sub (talk) 12:24, 10 October 2020 (UTC)

This will be last time I'll be telling you this, if you want to have any kind of conversation regarding any article be polite and gentle in words and should have decorum. Though you did not violate the CIV but this is how it starts, questioning the integrity or baseless accusation to the editor. "who told you Inman is ATKMB's AFC player and not Williams, Who told you Dylan fox is AFC player" : why on earth are you asking me? Did I add those? You could have asked the concerned user who had added those in that column? Or instead of telling "who told you?", you could've gently ask me or point me out that the two players were wrongly placed and are not announced such by clubs, I could've corrected accordingly. SaUp2014, if it was from BR, you should have mentioned that citation link in your edit summary or like the other user in the box. Your edit was unsourced. Secondly, Cy Goddard edit was also unsourced, you changed position without providing citation. Wikipedia does not care if you say "it's official". Wikipedia wants verifiable citation to verify itself whether it's official or not. Secondly, I did not say you replied with "official by TM". I just cautioned not to do that, as this has been the trend with few other users, with similar unsourced content in the article. Above that you again go on to edit war and reverted Cy Goddard and again without source. This time I am not warning you, but I will keep an eye for sure. Be careful. No unsourced contents, ok. SAIKAT MARINERS DEY, well one cannot use same logo, that too a non free logo twice in the same article. But we can update information accordingly. For that you add here citation link, one...McDowell broke up the tie up with Mohun Bagan after ending of 2014-15 season, two...between 2015-2017, i.e, for 2015-16 & 2016-17 they used the athletic club logo. Misleading editing

Talk:2020_China–India_skirmishes/Archive_4#United States is a biased source, Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_298#U.S. News Talk:2020_China–India_skirmishes/Archive 2#35 killed claim, and User talk:Aman.kumar.goel#August 2020. Abhishek0831996, which of these articles tell you "killed" ? All of them says, "death". Death not equal to killed. And thats why casualties. Death can be fall from cliff, being in cold water etc. By placing killed it means killed by Indian army in action. Which horribly wrong interpretation. And I don't understand the matter is "casualties" or "killed", why are you replacing the citation which was there from starting that too with Republic. Casualties means dead or injured, not just "dead". I agree that you are engaging in WP:DE for months of months now. You can't ignore USnews who provided the original report, which said "35 Chinese troops died".[2] Your selective sources can misrepresent whatever they want, but US News cannot be ignored. Srijanx22, first this will be your last words here at my talk page, I absolutely don't want your profound knowledge, keep that in your brain. You accused me of WP:DE for months of months !! Do you have any idea what DE is? Secondly, does US News says "killed" or "deaths". My revert was not because casualties or killed, but the replacement of an RS. Again, US News does not say killed but died, that is 35 deaths. And as explained above deaths may be various reason falling from cliffs, deaths in cold water etc. So next time when you revert think twice before doing that. And use article talk page for that, not here, don't accuse anyone foolishly, it may lead you in trouble. Drat8sub (talk) 17:22, 26 October 2020 (UTC)
