Joe Lillard

Just wanted to thank you again for reviewing the article and for passing it. Cheers. Giants2008 (Talk) 02:14, 7 November 2012 (UTC)

No problem. Cheers! TBrandley 02:52, 7 November 2012 (UTC)

PERM

Hi. Just gently reminding you again that non-admin comments, unless they come from very experienced users, are generally not helpful and do not contribute to the closing admin's decision. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 23:50, 7 November 2012 (UTC)

OK. TBrandley 01:35, 8 November 2012 (UTC)

ACR tweak

Hey, I noticed that when closing an ACR, the software fills in your standard signature. So I fixed it! Now, you will notice a "|username=" parameter right under the "|approved=" parameter. All you have to do is fill in your username, and the system will link it and add the time stamp. For example, you would write |username=TBrandley . Regards, TRLIJC19 (talkcontribs) 19:44, 8 November 2012 (UTC)

Ignore all the instructions I just gave you! I figured out an easier way to do it. I used a revision user template, so just proceed as you normally would – the "username" parameter is no longer needed or present. However, to make it easier, now instead of writing "yes" or "no" after the "approved" parameter, you just have to write "y" for yes or "n" for no. Regards, TRLIJC19 (talkcontribs) 21:08, 8 November 2012 (UTC)

OK, will do. Thanks so much for making these changes! TBrandley 23:22, 8 November 2012 (UTC)

Happy First Edit Day!

Happy First Edit Day!
In honour of the anniversary of your very first edit on Wikipedia, you've received a special present. Enjoy your brand new ultra fancy flat screen television for your contributions to articles about television shows. Have a very happy First Edit Day!--xanchester (t) 09:46, 10 November 2012 (UTC)
Thanks so much, Xanchester! It's very much appreciated. Yeah, I had cake and everything for my WikiBirthday, lol. And, I really do love television. Thanks again and cheers, TBrandley 15:31, 10 November 2012 (UTC)

SPI mention

Hey Tate, I meant to tell you this earlier. Why did you write "Just noting that the above IP have been reported as a sock puppet" on the talk page for OUAT season 2? WP:SPI is very clear that sometimes it's best not to tell the user that there's a case on them. I purposely chose not to tell the user, so as not to create unnecessary drama on the talk page. The user's sockpuppet flipped out after you said that, though later retracted it. In the future, please do not inform a suspected user before clearing it with the person who filed the SPI. Thanks, TRLIJC19 (talkcontribs) 03:23, 10 November 2012 (UTC)

Because I didn't want other editors to say, you know, it has another support, even though it really doesn't, and for other related editors to then agree, oh yeah, he's got a point, even though it is the same editor. Regardless, I am so sorry about that. I don't have much experience with WP:SPI, but will try to get some and take a read of it. I hope I didn't cause too much, pain or hurt for everyone. But thank you for letting me know. TBrandley 15:42, 10 November 2012 (UTC)
Oh, I see. I understand that your intentions were good (I never doubted they were), so don't worry about it. Happy WikiBirthday, by the way! TRLIJC19 (talkcontribs) 17:32, 10 November 2012 (UTC)
Thank you very much for your understanding and good faith assumptions. In the WikiBirthday case, thank you! I had cake and everything lol. As already said, I'll try to get more experience with WP:SPI and such. Cheers, TBrandley 02:49, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
For what it's worth, there's no prohibition on telling a person that someone else initiated a Sockpuppet investigation of them nor is there a requirement of asking the filing editor first. It's all a matter of a user's judgement. Ryan Vesey 03:47, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
That's very interesting, for what its worth. I do agree that it is all a matter of user judgement and common sense. I appreciate your comment on this matter. Regards, TBrandley 04:46, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

Sorry about that, I use Twinkle for that stuff so you can't see the notices, because you don't click "Edit", just on Twinkle instead rather and it does it. Regards, TBrandley 14:58, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

I don't think these are good candidates for a NAC's, but can you please indicate in the close which of the sources in your view offer significant non-routine coverage in reliable sources and show that the article does indeed pass WP:NOT. Mtking (edits) 18:45, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

More specifically, I had hoped to hear your reasoning on why the UFC 156 AfD (which I was involved with) met the requirements for WP:SK. I will certainly admit that Mtking seems to be on some sort of crusade against UFC fights, but I have to agree with him on the fact that upcoming fights never adequately meet the general notability guideline. The !votes were piling up for keep, but the only speedy keep was proposed by a sockpuppet and there had not been enough discussion to create anything I would describe as consensus. Coppaar (talk) 19:14, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

Please undo your close and leave it to an admin; only an admin should be closing as relist. --Rschen7754 18:56, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

Where have you gotten that idea? Per Wikipedia:Non-admin closure#Appropriate closures "AfDs with little or no discussion may be relisted if they're relatively new". Ryan Vesey 20:08, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
Fair enough, but this was a particularly bad close; this doesn't fit the bill of "relatively new". --Rschen7754 20:11, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
Relatively new? It had never been previously relisted. Merge would have been an acceptable close, but I see no problem with relisting and some benefits. There was one important question left unanswered "What is the definition of "minor" state highway being used here?" which would have helped in finding an appropriate close. Interestingly, nobody had yet brought up Wikipedia:Notability (highways)#United States except for the proposer who mentioned Wikipedia:WikiProject U.S. Roads/Notability. Had those who stated it should be merged mentioned either of those in their reasonings, merge would have been an acceptable closure. Ryan Vesey 20:57, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

I have unclosed this as at least one of the editors is a sockpuppet, and further investigations may reveal more. This is not a criticism of your close, please note, although I do note that none of the Keep votes actually correctly reference Wikipedia policy. Black Kite (talk) 20:54, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

Considering this and the above, I might suggest staying away from NACs of AFDs. Note that this is a general suggestion I give to all non-admins (and abide by myself). There are plenty of administrators active at AfD so non-admin closures are not necessary and sometimes are not welcome. You will gain better experience by participating in AfDs and making arguments. If you would like to get a hand at evaluating consensus, I suggest you look at some requested moves. Feel free to ask me if you are curious about a close. You might also consider participating in Dispute ResolutionRyan Vesey 21:02, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
I know that, OK. "Relisting" is still okay mostly, right? Thanks for your help and comments, TBrandley 04:45, 13 November 2012 (UTC)
Yes Brandley. I would recommend only to relist articles. After what happened to me, I'd recommend all non-admins to stay away from NAC, and that essay to be burned to ashes, as it makes more harm than good. — ΛΧΣ21 05:38, 13 November 2012 (UTC)

As per the above, can you please either re-list the above AfD or indicate in the close which of the sources in your view offer significant non-routine coverage in reliable sources and show that the article does indeed pass WP:NOT. Mtking (edits) 09:34, 14 November 2012 (UTC)

Yes, I agree - this should have been relisted or at least closed as no consensus. Not a single one of the Keep votes refutes WP:NOT. Again, it might have looked an obvious close, but sometimes they aren't. Black Kite (talk) 10:23, 14 November 2012 (UTC)
OK, done. TBrandley 15:31, 14 November 2012 (UTC)
Thanks. Mtking (edits) 19:13, 14 November 2012 (UTC)

World's busiest airport

I've reverted your change to Airport (TV series) for a couple of reasons: first, because Heathrow is presented as the world's busiest airport in the show, which ran from 1999 - 2006. Using current passenger traffic data to change the airport's status as of production is inaccurate. A change like that should be a) based on data from the time of production and; b) discussed before the change is made. Which leads me to the second reason I reverted: how "world's busiest" is measured. There are at least three metrics for business of an airport: numbers of passengers, numbers of flights and density of flights (i.e. time between flights). Depending on the metric used, either Atlanta, Chicago or Heathrow is the busiest. However, the industry generally regards Heathrow to be the busiest airport in the world and Chicago the busiest in the U.S.; Atlanta is only busiest when passenger numbers are considered. --Drmargi (talk) 18:27, 18 November 2012 (UTC)

OK, I understand that. TBrandley 18:33, 18 November 2012 (UTC)

What does it mean for an airport to be "based in" a certain city? It's either in the city or near the city. Brianhe (talk) 19:53, 18 November 2012 (UTC)

It is "located" in Oroville, it's just after the US-Canada, just before town center. So, yes, "in". "Based in" means it is "located in" that particular place. TBrandley 20:00, 18 November 2012 (UTC)
These distinctions make no sense to me. Changing it back to "in" per plain English. Brianhe (talk) 20:53, 18 November 2012 (UTC)
Fine. TBrandley 22:01, 18 November 2012 (UTC)

i think I've fixed most of your points at the FLC, besides scope=row. Any help with that? Buggie111 (talk) 02:30, 16 November 2012 (UTC)

Done, I've added scope rows. Will also try to leave further comments. Cheers, TBrandley 01:47, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

Closing ACRs

Hi, Tate. Just a reminder that after you approve/fail a nomination, and are updating the article history, you must include the "oldid" revision parameter. The old id can be accessed in an old revision's URL. Also, the time you write in the article history should match the time on the ACR's tagged page. For an example of what I mean, see here. TRLIJC19 (talkcontribs) 21:56, 19 November 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, thanks for letting me know. I didn't have the time then, but was going to do it later, but you had already done so. Thanks, TBrandley 00:19, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

Is there any particular reason why you are withholding support for this FLC? If there are any other comments or concerns you would like me to address, I'd be more than happy to respond to them. Cheers! —Bloom6132 (talk) 00:21, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

I'll take another look soon and then support. It was only a quicker look when I last checked it. Further comments will be left soon. Cheers, TBrandley 01:23, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

Hey

Was there really no prose issues over at Home (The X-Files)? I find it hard to believe that there was nothing that needed improving. lol Bruce Campbell (talk) 01:01, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

For A-Class, it's all good. There probably is more prose concerns for featured article status, I'll see what I can find. TBrandley 02:59, 20 November 2012 (UTC)
Thank you! Yeah I want people with more experience with television articles to comb through it before its FAC. Prose is my weakness. Bruce Campbell (talk) 03:33, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

A gentle reminder

I'm not completely sure what is going on, but it looks like you've become involved in a rather unpleasant situation. I don't want you to get in any trouble, so I'd advise you to settle down and allow the problem to resolve itself. Also, you might want to be a bit more careful when accusing others of making personal attacks. I'm not saying that you're causing the most trouble, I'm just saying it would be best to back off and let everyone else scream it out without getting yourself into a pickle. v/r AutomaticStrikeout 02:57, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

OK thanks. TBrandley 04:24, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

Thank You

Thank you for fixing my mistake I am sorry for making such an embarrassing error — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kaola5678 (talkcontribs) 04:39, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

OK, your welcome? Although, that was clearly vandalism, as I've told you. TBrandley 04:41, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

You have my permission to delete the page I created combining the episodes of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami, Without a Trace and CSI: NY, because I just learned that CSI and CSI: NY are staging a two-part crossover. And I will recreate it when all the shows involved in these common storylines are officially off the air. --StewieBaby05 (talk) 21:14, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

No, I am not an admin, so I can't delete it, and anyways, a consensus is developing at the articles for deletion page, so let's let that happen. You will also not be recreating it ever unless the general consensus changes. Thank you. TBrandley 22:57, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

So I'm not allowed to combine episode lists of TV shows just because of common story lines?

I'm just asking what's wrong with combining episodes of multiple TV shows if they've had crossovers. I just think it's interesting. --StewieBaby05 (talk) 23:44, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

I realize that you are contributing in good faith, but that qualifies as fan-cruft trivia which is against Wikipedia's guidelines and policies. Further, the notability of those lists has also not been proven, for it to pass WP:GNG. Anyways, there is currently a consensus developing at their articles for deletion entries, so please see what happens there, and what the commenters also say. Thank you. TBrandley 23:54, 20 November 2012 (UTC)

Heidi Seeman

I contested your CSD because the AfD was in 2008 and I'm seeing a lot of ghits that indicate this might be notable (the event, not the person). Aside from the creator re-pasting the copyvio material (which seems to be the originally deleted article... wow), I'm not sure if it will pass muster but I guess someone can check it and PROD it or whatever. Cheers. §FreeRangeFrog 00:38, 21 November 2012 (UTC)

OK, all of your words make sense. Considering WP:PROD is probably the best option right now. Cheers, TBrandley 00:44, 21 November 2012 (UTC)

Small world

I see you were born in Basildon. I was born about 10 miles away from there in a place called Rochford. I now live in Brentwood. -- CassiantoTalk 21:12, 28 October 2012 (UTC)

Wow, that's very cool. I've heard of it, and probably went to it before. As you may now, I now live in Canada. Thanks for looking at my user page. TBrandley 00:40, 31 October 2012 (UTC)
Yes, that's one hell of a move, from Basildon to Canada! It has probably changed a lot since you were last over here. As you can see, Basildon has already been twinned with Hollywood...http://www.metro.co.uk/news/819681-basildon-gets-hollywood-sign-essex-style. Haha CassiantoTalk 05:55, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
I know, it's funny. My dad (who is still in England) told me about that, and I am vising England again soon (most of my family actually lives there)! TBrandley 16:54, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
Cool, well be sure to have your picture taken next to it and add it to the Basildon article! :-) At what age did you leave for Canada? -- CassiantoTalk 21:04, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
Lol, sure! Actually, I was very young, I was '6'. TBrandley 21:05, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
That was a good few years ago, I bet it has changed a lot since you were living here. My now wife comes from Basildon and I regularly drive through there on the way to work. Canada sounds a lot nicer though. I have some relatives who live in Winnipeg, but it has been years since I have seen them. -- CassiantoTalk 21:38, 4 November 2012 (UTC)
Oh yeah, probably. That's cool, does it seem good or nice-esh? I live where it is always sunny, Osoyoos, you probably know. It is the only desert in Canada officially! TBrandley 03:59, 6 November 2012 (UTC)

What Winnipeg? I haven't a clue I have never been there. They moved over there when I was a lot younger and, to my shame, I have never visited. In terms of Essex, Basildon is a reletively modern. Apart from a few Chavs, it's a nice place to live and has everything you need. It's also only about 30 miles from London. Basildon has a new community radio station which I have volunteered for as a presenter. That should be fun! -- CassiantoTalk 11:25, 7 November 2012 (UTC)

It isn't very nice, Manitoba, in my opinion. It snows at the time, and is very dry. It is horrible, I have went there before, actually twice. Perhaps other will disagree, but I hate it, just me maybe, again. In terms of Essex, OK, that's good, its not very busy like London, hey? It does rain a lot, though, sadly, or goodly, you know. . As for radio, that's great, and good luck! All I really have for radio is the Canadian radio station Sun FM, not the British one, you know. Sun FM is "your number one hit music station!" Cheers, TBrandley 23:31, 8 November 2012 (UTC)
No, Winnipeg doesn't look very nice at all. I think they are still there, but I am talking 20+ years ago now so I think they moved on. I will find out and report back. I work in London and it is fantastic (but really expensive). It does rain a bit but hey that's England! Have you ever visited London? -- CassiantoTalk 17:44, 10 November 2012 (UTC)
Agreed, I personally, again, hate it, seriously! Probably, yes, and OK, thanks about reporting back. I work (well, go to school) in Osoyoos. In fact, the nearest city to me is an hour away, it is Penticton, and Omak is also pretty close, and by the way, I live right by the United States-Canada international border, which I just went to over this weekend (Spokane). Regarding England, your right, that is England! And, of course, I have visted London, after all my mother was born there, in South London. It is very nice there, in my opinion. Lots of things there are very different from here in Canada, and the US right near me. In a nutshell, yes. What do you enjoy about London (don't bother if it is too personal)? TBrandley 03:00, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
I suppose standing right on the boarder one can't say "I can't be in two places at once!" -- Yes you can - Left foot in Canada, right foot in America . I love London for its architecture mainly. I spend quite a lot of time in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, which is locally known as Blue plaque country. The buildings are beautiful. You can walk past a building which used to be occupied by Georg Friedrich Händel one minute and further on come across a property once owned by Alfred Hitchcock the next. We have the obvious examples of stunning architecture including Westminster Palace, St. Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey; even more modern buildings such as 30 St Mary Axe are stunning to look at. However, not all of London is nice. East London is particularly bad and suffers a lot from gang's who think they are a force to be reckoned with. Sadly they are not, my gang are slightly bigger. West London and Central London are very nice and particularly well to do. Average house prices in Mayfair and Belgravia are often in excess of £50,000,000 ($79,497,377). It's nice to have a dream...Zzz -- CassiantoTalk 22:58, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
It is possible to be in two countries at once!
Thanks for the lengthy reply and sorry for my belated reply! Yeah, it is cool and I myself enjoy London for that same reason. But I do really enjoy the many choices, unlike Canada, the United States is okay, but not as good. England has choices like "Cola-Cola Lime", many good "Cadbury's" chocolates we don't get here in Canada. Such as the Cadbury's Fudge bar. In Canada, we get it, but nowhere near as much. Speaking of the United States, which is pretty cool, in fact, just the other day I went shopping in Omak, better than Canada, but as I said already, not as good as England, for what its worth. The architecture, of course, is also very good and interesting, usually one of the things I do when I go there to visit family and vacation a bit. Speaking of being in two countries at once, see this image, awesome! TBrandley 03:42, 17 November 2012 (UTC)

ACR closing

Your closing of this ACR was problematic for numerous reasons.

  1. You did not remove the transcluded ACR from the main review page; that is the first thing you should do when approving an article.
  2. You cannot leave a plain "support" with no explanation, and then approve the ACR. It's one thing to give your reason for supporting, and then approve it, but to merely write "support" and then approve it makes it seem like you were just eager to approve the nomination. Please do not let that happen again.
  3. When Grapple X left comments, he added them under where it said "Please don't edit anything below here." I've left him a note on his talk page. When tagging the page as closed, be sure that the "Please don't edit anything below here." is at the very bottom, or else (as you learned) it won't close properly.
  4. You did not update the classes to "A" on the article's talk page, which is the most important part of the approval – without doing this, it is not technically an A-Class article.

In the future, please be sure to follow all the steps when closing an ACR. Happy Thanksgiving, TRLIJC19 (talkcontribs) 05:17, 22 November 2012 (UTC)

If you're looking at Filter 188, I'd like you to know that I've been going through all of these for a while now and intend to keep doing it, blocking the new users with promotional usernames who create similarly named pages that get speedy-deleted. So, if you add the "User talk pages with conflict of interest notices" and "Wikipedia usernames with possible policy issues" cats to their talk page (as happens when the "I noticed that the username you have chosen" message is added), I'd appreciate it if you watchlist the talk page and remove the cats (by removing the relevant text, or with HotCat, which you can select in Preferences/Gadgets) after the user is blocked. Or, just wait until an admin reviews and blocks; on some of these pages, the users are getting so many messages that they may not be seeing the messages we really want them to see. - Dank (push to talk) 14:53, 21 November 2012 (UTC)

Hi Dank! I usually identify problematic usernames by patrolling new pages, and I just happen to run into them, because it is sometimes obviously. That's how I've done it lately. Thanks for pointing out the Filter 188 to me, that will certainly help me find more usernames for tagging. I also intend to keep looking for more problematic usernames. Sure, I'll follow your advice and remove the categories after being blocked, sure, of course. Regarding HotCat, I already have it installed, I've used it for quite a bit now, it's a really helpful tool. Anyways, I'm always glad to help with the usernames and such, thanks for your comment. Cheers, TBrandley 23:34, 21 November 2012 (UTC)
Great, thanks. You usually won't need to watchlist for more than 24 hours. - Dank (push to talk) 00:07, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
No problem, I'll do that. TBrandley 08:50, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
After checking around, it's better not to remove the "User talk pages with conflict of interest notices" cat ... admins aren't looking at those to see who to block, it's just the other cat that should be removed. - Dank (push to talk) 23:19, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
OK, sure. TBrandley 18:45, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

List of roller coaster rankings Peer Review

Hello, I wanna submit List of roller coaster rankings for FLC but a peer review is still open. How can I get this closed? The peer reviewer didn't really offer any help and they haven't significantly contributed to Wikipedia since July.--Astros4477 (talk) 17:19, 26 November 2012 (UTC)

Hi! To close a peer review, you are required to add {{peer review page|topic=topic name}} to the peer review page, and then replace the {{peerreview}} tag on the article's talk page, with {{oldpeerreview|archive=N}}. Peer reviews can be very slow, that's why they aren't the best option in my opinion, but sometimes you get good feedback. I'd be inclined to provide a mini peer review myself before a featured list nomination, if you'd like. TBrandley 19:15, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
That would be great!--Astros4477 (talk) 19:31, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
Would you do the Peer Review on the current Peer Review page or somewhere else?--Astros4477 (talk) 21:29, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
I don't really care, you choose. TBrandley 21:31, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
It would probably be better to just do it on the current review page.--Astros4477 (talk) 21:32, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
OK, comments will be left soon. TBrandley 21:34, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
Done, you have some comments. TBrandley 21:49, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
Thanks! I might leave a few comments as I go.--Astros4477 (talk) 22:14, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
Hey, we addressed all the comments in the Peer Review. I'll go ahead and close it then submit if there's no other comments.--Astros4477 (talk) 20:49, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
Go ahead. TBrandley 20:52, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

Hey :)

So I noticed that your a frequent at the FAC FLCs, so I was wondering if you could muster up the strength and take a look at my nomination? As you know, some just don't see too much activity :( If you can't don't worry about it, I know too many projects can be overwhelming at times. Thanks though for everything :)--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 05:51, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

Sure, I'll take a look soon. Seems like a huge article, good work. TBrandley 18:19, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
Thanks! Very much appreciated :)--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 18:20, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
Sure thing! I'll do my best :)--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 20:26, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
OK, thanks! TBrandley 20:29, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
Hey Brandley, so its up for GA. I thought you would open up a Peer review? How would you like my input then? Talk page? Also, I addressed/commented on the FAC.--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 00:07, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
Well, I'd just prefer if you would be able to just provide a mini-peer review at this talk page, if that's okay with you. I'll leave further comments and reply at the featured article nomination soon. Cheers, TBrandley 05:04, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

Your global rollback request

In case you haven't checked on it, your request for global rollback currently has little to no chance of passing. The main concerns are that you did not provide a rationale for the request and you do not have much experience in crosswiki vandalism fighting. I would suggest withdrawing the request, and trying again after you have accumulated sufficient experience in crosswiki vandalism fighting (perhaps by joining m:SWMT). --Jasper Deng (talk) 05:51, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

OK, thanks for letting me know. TBrandley 18:20, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

Row and column scopes

Hi TB, Can I ask your advice on the matter of how row and column scopes are viewed at FLC? Am I right in thinking that a table which consists of numerous scopes will stand little chance of getting through FLC because it will fail WP:ACCESS and MOS:DTT? Thanks - SchroCat (talk) 09:59, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

Hi! May I ask which list you are referring to? Is it User:Schrodinger's cat is alive/litter tray 6, because if you mean that it contains the appropriate scope cols and rows, but it needs a table caption to pass WP:DTT, as always. At featured list candidacy, the reviewer seem to be very keen, as am I, on the meeting of WP:ACCESS, but in this case, it does seem to meet it. I'd advise you to place plainrowheaders to the table's coding, however. TBrandley 18:37, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) Hey there. I just happened to see this conversation and it reminded me of a question I had a my own FAC about a month ago. Can you answer my very last question at the bottom of that page here? Thanks. —Torchiest talkedits 18:55, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
Hi! Unlike featured list candidacy reviewers, featured article nomination reviewers don't really care about WP:ACCESS, it would seem, although it is part of the criteria for both processes. I was planning on replying at the nomination, but a featured article delegate already closed it, sadly. Anyways, that table doesn't meet WP:ACCESS because it doesn't contain the required scope="row" for the main parameter, but only one. Honestly, it is hard to explain. If you need further assistance, see List of The X-Files episodes for an example of a meeting WP:ACCESS and WP:DTT table. See the gray parameter there, that is scope="row" that is needed, you can also see the coding. After you've added scope rows, you add plainrowheaders to the top of the table's coding for MOS:BOLD now. Also, as you've nominated that quite a few times now, next you nominate it I would advise you to request reviews from WikiProjects and fellow Wikipedians, that should help, always does for me. The article is mostly solid. Cheers, TBrandley 19:07, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
Thanks! That plainrowheaders part was the missing piece of the puzzle. —Torchiest talkedits 19:24, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

Thanks TB. The article I am looking at is List of recurring characters in the James Bond film series. Have a look at the talk page and Betty Logan's excellent summary which has two versions, one which I think passes the various hurdles and one which may not. I also think the current one doesn't. I'm not asking for any taking of sides, just a clarification of what will pass at FLC and what won't, from an WP:ACCESS and MOS:DTT point of view (I think everyone appreciates there are other issues that need to be addressed, but we need to get this one right before anything else). There is also a different variation on a theme at [here], which includes greyed out cells (which gets over some issues, but may fail the access point). Many thanks for taking the time to look over the 3 or 4 or 5 different tables! Cheers - SchroCat (talk) 23:48, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

Please revisit your straight oppose at this WP:FLC which has been worked on quite a lot since your objection. The Rambling Man (talk) 18:12, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

Oh yeah, I forgot about that candidate, sorry. I striked my oppose, and supported. Seems of very good quality, I agree. TBrandley 18:41, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

Identities Fashion Show Feedback

Hi TBrandley:
Could you provide advice on how to work on this article for re-submission? I have read the page on writing better articles, but still seem to come short. All of sources cited on the article are independent sources and the article has been written in news style. Thank you so much for your help! — Preceding unsigned comment added by HarvardFashion (talkcontribs) 19:14, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

Extra job as monitor

I hate to ask you to add another task to your monitor job, since you're doing such a great job, but would you mind updating Template:Grey's Anatomy episode count when a new episode airs? Also, when a new episode airs, can you update the "As of November 15, 2012, a total of 178 original episodes have aired" sentence in the last paragraph of the lead at List of Grey's Anatomy episodes with the date of the most recently aired episode? I noticed that you frequently have to revert edits that delete the template, so if you update the template and that sentence yourself, then you won't have to worry about reverting it. Thanks, TRLIJC19 (talkcontribs) 23:07, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

Oh sure, that's no problem. But I may forget sometimes, so you could just remind me at those times, but it seems like a simple task. The IP addresses seem to not know how to edit those templates. TBrandley 04:56, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

Overlink check

I noticed that you've been fairly active at WP:FAC in noting which candidate articles have things linked unnecessarily. I'm certain you've got enough on your plate to stay busy around here, but I'd be appreciative of your advice in that vein. I'm working to get Calostoma cinnabarinum polished up, but it's not only my first push for article quality recognition, but actually my first major article writing project. From the perspective of WP:OVERLINK, I'm mostly concerned about the places in the Distribution, habitat, and ecology section. During its time in GAN, links to the US states (Massachusetts, Florida, Texas, California) were requested. I've also linked most of the countries, on the assumption that places like Belize and Colombia were at least as likely to be unfamiliar to the average reader as Texas or California, even assuming non-American readership. But I'm not sure that's compliant with current practice, and if you've got a few minutes to take a peek, I'd certainly appreciate your advice on which places do or don't need to be blue. Squeamish Ossifrage (talk) 15:39, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

Sure, I'd be more than happy to take a look. From what I see, the following terms should be unlinked due to WP:OVERLINK: fungi, buff, Southwestern United States, Guatemala, Panama, Columbia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Brazil, South Korea, Veracruz, Columbia, and distributed. As you can see, most overlinked terms are coming from the "Distribution, habitat, and ecology", so yes, your correct on that. Depending on which perceptive you are coming at, sometimes the U.S. states can also be considered overlinking, I don't really think so, hence why I don't bring it, just wait for other reviewers to see if there's a problem in that alley. Some seem to request those state links, and some pan them. Regardless of its notability to the world, all countries should still be unlinked as they seem to be known worldwide. I've heard of Columbia, and all of those places. The countries all the main problem for WP:OVERLINK, other than that it seems generally okay. TBrandley 16:52, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) Why should fungi, buff, and Southwestern United States be unlinked? Fungi is the only one of those where linking might not be necessary, but I've never heard of buff before. Ryan Vesey 17:00, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
Buff is unnecessary to link because it is a color, while Southwestern United States is redundant. You could keep the former if you'd like, but it doesn't seem necessary, in my opinion. TBrandley 17:06, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
I've culled links to the countries (Belize, Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala, Indonesia, Japan, Panama, South Korea, Taiwan). I've retained the link to Veracruz because I link US states, other Mexican states, and Guatemalan departments. The buff link was requested in GAN, but I've gone ahead and just struck the use of the word in favor of explaining the color. The only link to fungi is the one in the taxobox and seems standard on existing fungus FAs, so I think that's probably good for now. Regarding the Southwestern United States link, though, I link other subnational regions (like Eastern Mexico); should this stay linked as a parallel use? I'm not sure what its redundant to. In any case, I really appreciate extra eyes and feedback from folks who've been doing this longer than I have! Thanks again! Squeamish Ossifrage (talk) 17:12, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
And having just said that, I've gone ahead and reinstated linked use of buff. The color is referenced by name in an awful lot of articles, some of which are FA, and its linking has been requested at FAC before (including, fairly recently, the FAC for Common Tern), so I think I'm good both using it and linking it here. Squeamish Ossifrage (talk) 17:25, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
OK, no problem, that's fine. TBrandley 17:26, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
Not exactly relevant to the discussion but: over at the "Home" FAC, would you mind reverting your last edit and leaving our comments/discussion in the main FAC talkpage? This way someone won't come along and say "ya'll have just been supporting it because you're apart of the Project..." like with the Terms of Endearment FAC, and it makes it more blatant that there have been comments and issues already raised. I learned that leaving stuff like that can actually be a positive thing from User:Dan56's FACs. Bruce Campbell (talk) 21:12, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
And thank you commenting Bruce Campbell (talk) 21:13, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
No problem. I'll do that then, per request, doesn't matter to me though. Cheers, TBrandley 21:31, 28 November 2012 (UTC)

Lemmens

Hi mate, I saw you withdrew the AFD. Still glad you nominated it, though. AFD might not be for clean-up but nothing in WP:BEFORE was going to save that one. I found next to nothing searching for his name. Turns out 19th century Canadians seem to have struggled with his (many different) European names and so most of the available sources simply refer to him as "Bishop Lemmens" - especially confusing given there were a couple of "Bishop Lemmens" around at the time, from the same family. Once I limited my search terms I found a whole bunch of stuff. All-in-all, a good result! Cheers, Stalwart111 05:26, 29 November 2012 (UTC).

Penticton stories at HighBeam

I thought I'd post these here so it would be easier for you to reference them:

  • Canadian regionals' programme extended – you can see the essential points in the preview. The next paragraph is a quote: Transport Minister Jean Lapierre said: "The National Airports Policy has been one of the most successful divestiture programmes in the world. The transfer of the last eight airports will place all Canadian airport communities on an equal footing." Nothing else is related to Penticton.
  • Hot on Recycling – very brief mention of recycling asphalt from the airport.
  • 'The weather can change in an instant'; The Hope-Princeton corridor claims four more air-crash victimsOctober 20, 1992: 20 miles east of Hope, B.C. A Navion, C-GHRV, crashed into trees and burned on a flight from Penticton to Boundary Bay, B.C. The pilot was killed. and December 31, 2000: An Aerostar 602P, N88AT, approaching Penticton, was cleared for a landing, carrying one pilot, three passengers and two dogs. Neither indicates that it was a Penticton Regional flight though.
Hope those help. —Torchiest talkedits 11:37, 5 December 2012 (UTC)

"Punishment for computer crime," Up for Deletion

I am Thomas "Birdy" McKee [USBA #23740, admitted to practice Federal Law, 15 October 1981], been actively practicing law for 31+ years and the author of the above. I believe that it is essential article for Wikipedia, not only as a warning to any 'would-be' computer wizards thinking about committing any of the numerous types of computer related offenses, but for the common folks [people] to have an article in which can be quoted in any Court, (State or Federal), for the assertion of personal rights; particularly those who have been unfortunate enough to become a victim of computer crime.

I understand that Wikipedia's guidelines probably have not been correctly met, but the importance (in this computerized era) of the article cannot be dismissed so easily. Far too many people of the population are victims and the event keeps expanding, more and more the Courts (State and Federal) are seeing defendants who have defrauded thousands of people, only to receive a small amount of prison time and perhaps an Order by the Court to pay back the victims which, in most instances, goes unheeded by the defendant.

As a practitioner of the law, I have sworn a sacred duty to abide by, and keep the trust of that law, by whatever means possible. Most lawyers and attorneys fail to more fully comprehend the meaning of this oath;l I have strictly adhered to the quoted Liaz, ca, 930 AD, who stated, "For all men to abide by the Law, the Rules of Society shall remain involute; those among the people who hath failed, hath failed society, those who hath to defend the Law, let them seek justice for the few who knows not."

Simply put, the article was written to place a tool into the hands of those few who do not know what their options are when they, themselves, become a victim of some type of computer crime. Please keep this in mind when deciding whether or not to delete the article.

It has already been listed as a good article, though. If you'd like me to take another look, I am certainly open for that, but right now it would seem that none of those images are necessary per WP:NFCC and MOS:IMAGES, no reasoning for use image, or why those images are important. I would say they aren't, unless you can provide a deep rationale. TBrandley 00:24, 12 December 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the barnstar. It is much appreciated, and I certainly hope you don't feel down over the fact your article obtained deletion. It was just that the article didn't meet Wikipedia's key policies on what Wikipedia is not and notability, that's all. Also, another reason was due to repetitiveness of the computer crime article. Hey

What's up Brandley? I'm not sure if you saw but I posted the rest of my review on the Penticton PR several days ago. Also, do you think you can come and finish your review of TEOM? I fear if more reviewers don't achieve consensus they will close the nomination :/ Thanks! :)--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 14:59, 11 December 2012 (UTC)

Hi, I'm good right now! I have seen your posts, as part of my watchlist. I have had some recent real life situations and internet concerns, so I haven't been able to edit Wikipedia lately at all, unfortunately. However, now most real life problems have been fixed, and my internet problem is getting much better, hence I should be able to review your article more soon, and fix those comments at the peer review within the next couple of days, maybe even perhaps today, and I really appreciate your review there, thanks. McCrone Report!

First of all I'm curious as to how much knowledge you have on Scottish politics, history etc. ? Secondly the paragraph I removed had little,if any, relevance to the McCrone report and read like yet another piece of Unionist propaganda thats only purpose is to try and convince the Scottish people that we're too poor to be independent. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.150.42.229 (talk) 19:06, 15 December 2012 (UTC)

I don't have knowledge on Scottish matters and events, if you were to provide an edit summary as to why you removing the paragraph at that article, I would have understood and not reverted your edit. In this case particularly, your edit would appear to be vandalism without an edit summary, so please provide an edit summary in the future. Also, sign your posts by typing four tildes at the end of your message (~~~~). Thanks! TBrandley 19:15, 15 December 2012 (UTC)

Re: The Rambling Man

The comments aimed at Viriditas weren't that bad, but the criticism coming at the hook is rude for someone's work (in this case, mine).

I think you misread the discussion. The comments were aimed at User: Maile66 (and yourself), not me. In fact, I have no role to play in any of this. I'm just observing from afar that The Rambling Man's comments towards Maile66 and yourself were unbecoming of someone who is supposed to be a trusted member of the community. Viriditas (talk) 01:27, 16 December 2012 (UTC)

My bad, I wrote that incorrectly. My sincere apologizes. TBrandley 01:28, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
Not a problem, but it did confuse the original discussion. I do have a question for you. How could The Rambling Man have better handled his criticism? I ask because, ironically, I've also been concerned with "boring" hooks in the past, but I haven't found a way to handle it. I'm not talking about your hook, of course, but I am curious, how should we handle it in the future? Viriditas (talk) 01:30, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for that. I don't care whether my hook was boring or not, I simply suppose it could of just been handled or said better, like "this hook appears to not be that interesting, as per the criteria" or something like that, rather than other uncivil comments posted at the did you know talk page. At least that is constructive criticism, which I would of course be able to handle and appreciate. Perhaps try that in the future. TBrandley 01:36, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
Thanks. Again, I'm not talking about your hook, but I'm curious about how we can judge what is interesting and what is not. My primary concern about "boring" hooks has been with sports DYK's, half of which I really find boring because the hook expects the reader to be familiar with the topic in order to find it interesting. So, one way to handle this is to choose hooks that are informative in and of themselves, such that the DYK communicates that importance to the reader. Does this make sense? Viriditas (talk) 01:42, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
Yes, thanks. I certainly agree with your statement, it should also be clear for people who are not knowledgeable in the subject appearing on the main page. Also, I couldn't help noticing that you are in Hawaii, I've always wanted to visit there, lucky duck! Happy Holidays, TBrandley 01:49, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
If you do visit, make sure you visit the Big Island (Hawaii) and check out the active volcano. Surprisingly, many tourists never make it over there. Viriditas (talk) 01:57, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for the advice. If I do go there, I'll probably sure deeply for events occurring there, and such. It looks pretty cool. I myself also just saw further details on it, and have some non-internet information on it as well. I assume the weather is nice there, pretty much all year round. Cheers, TBrandley 02:04, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
Are you in the UK? Years ago, I heard that Richard Branson wanted to do a direct flight from Heathrow to Honolulu with the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner. I believe they would fly non-stop over the Arctic and shave several hours off of the total flight time (much more if you include the normal transfer time with two stops). I'm not sure what the status of that plan is right now. Viriditas (talk) 02:11, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
I am from the United Kingdom, specifically from Basildon, Essex, which is just outside of London and I have used the London Heathrow Airport before. However, in 2006, I moved to Canada, and am currently in Vernon, British Columbia, which is right by Kelowna, meaning that I would fly from the Kelowna International Airport. It is a relatively smaller airport, so it unfortunately does not offer direct flights to Honolulu. Thus, I would need to fly to Vancouver, and get to Honolulu from there. This happens to me often, as that airport isn't that good in terms of flights offered. That is a very interesting fact about Richard Branson there. Cheers, TBrandley 02:19, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
Oh, in that case, what you want to do is leave during the day from Vancouver and arrive at night in Hawaii, around 9 or 10 pm HST, so that you can get to your hotel, go to sleep, and wake up refreshed in the morning. Same thing going back—it's better to take a red eye flight from Hawaii back to Vancouver, sleep on the plane, and arrive early in the morning so you have the entire day. Viriditas (talk) 02:23, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for that advice. I'm going to try that fairly soon, but I don't really maintain that much money though sadly. Cheers, TBrandley 02:25, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
I think this is the most expensive time to fly to Hawaii from Canada, but you may be able to save money in the summer months. Also, you can save money by flying to other American cities, such as Seattle, and then flying to Hawaii, but again that is a seasonal fare. For example, you could probably save a lot of money flying from Vancouver to Seattle and then to Hawaii one to three weeks after Thanksgiving in the states, but you sort of have to be on top of these deals and know what to look for. Viriditas (talk) 02:30, 16 December 2012 (UTC)

Yeah, probably. That's a good idea, is Spokane also possibly an option? I also do have a Flight Centre where I currently live, so maybe that would help. I love holidays. TBrandley 02:35, 16 December 2012 (UTC)

No idea. But some friends recently got a r/t deal on Hawaiian, and once in a while I can find the same deal from SFO or LAX on other airlines. What's interesting is that we've been getting a lot of Australians over the last year because their exchange rate has been so good. They love Hawaii, and we enjoy having them. Viriditas (talk) 02:38, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
Oh, that's cool. I'm not certain, but I've heard that my Okanagan region also obtains some tourism during the summer months. Thanks for this. TBrandley 02:44, 16 December 2012 (UTC)

My comments "were unbecoming of someone who is supposed to be a trusted member of the community" is, of course, utter tripe. I said a hook was "boring", the most "boring" hook I'd ever seen. Was that a problem, to express my opinion? In what way did my position as admin/'crat come into it? Should I have said "Of course, while the hook is not of my taste, I can imagine it may appeal to someone" or something like that? At least I didn't fucking resort to fucking swearing like Viriditas did when directly attacking another editor's edits via an insidious edit summary. Conclusion: don't allow dull-as-hell hooks at DYK. And don't allow erroneous hooks at DYK. In fact, perhaps just discard DYK from the main page to give space to decent quality articles. The Rambling Man (talk) 19:44, 16 December 2012 (UTC)

No, I myself appreciate constructive criticism and honesty generally. I would have, again, myself, would have just like to been notified that my hook was under discussion. As said at that talk page, some hooks, such as mine, can't get that "interesting" for did you know due its contents, although it may still appeal to some. That reassured me. Also, regarding my hooks' inaccuracy, I still don't see the problem. Could you please point out the problem with the hook's inaccuracy, because I have a source in the article itself pointing to the Penticton Herald. I'm planning on taking the article to featured status, so that is actually helpful. I mean no offense against you, and I believe you are a great editor and administrator at Wikipedia. TBrandley 19:54, 16 December 2012 (UTC)

WikiProjects and BC content

Hey TBrandley, how are you. Great to see another editor working on BC topics. It gets lonely around here sometimes. I was just looking at your new WikiProject for the Okanagan. I wanted to discuss that maybe the small number of BC editors should be collaborating at WP:WikiProject British Columbia. I know there's not much activity there, but I had plans of trying to revive it. If we split our energies to a sub-region, the chances of a viable project get slimmer. What are your thoughts? The Interior (Talk) 01:56, 17 December 2012 (UTC)

Good, thanks. I don't really see a problem with WikiProject Okanagan, as kind of a sort of "semi-project" to British Columbia. Kind of like a "task force". I'll try to also collaborate at WikiProject British Columbia. Perhaps we at both British Columbia and Okanagan should advertise, by maybe welcoming new editors who have edit a British Columbia or Okanagan article, and stating that they should be join the project. And, even send some invitation to any contributor to these types of articles. We can create a template. So if you would like to do that, it may help. The reason I myself contribute is because I enjoy the articles and like in the Okanagan region. Happy Holidays, TBrandley 02:07, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
Same to you, TBrandley! The background for this was several discussions at WikiProject Canada, where it was pointed out that there are many WikiProjects on Canadian topics, but few active editors.(In fact the active editor/Wikiproject ratio was about 1:1 by my estimate!) The result is a lot of semi-defunct project pages. If you look at the successful WikiProjects (successful being defined as having enough active editors involved that there is regular communication and collaboration), like MilHist and Chemistry for example, the common factor is a broad topic area and a critical mass of active editors. That said, you are of course free to create a WikiProject on what you want, and put in effort there. It just may not be efficient is all I'm saying. Okanagan could be a task force of BC, and with two active editors at the provincial page, we'd have a better chance at being viable. I know WikiProject Oregon manages to do a lot of work, despite representing a smaller pop. than BC. Anyways, up to you, any activity on BC stuff is better than none. Best, The Interior (Talk) 21:48, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, it can be slow sometimes. You know, as I kind of said, you could advertise both WikiProjects all over; for example, at Wikipedia:WikiProject British Columbia, say there is also a "WikiProject Okanagan", which is our sister project; same goes for WikiProject Okanagan, our parents projects are WikiProject British Columbia, etc. So, it is kind of a task force. I noticed that it does seem slow at British Columbia, though. Also, I agree with you on successful WikiProjects, MilHist seems to be extremely large, and I'm jealous of that, same seems to go for GOCE and TV, but I'm not sure. Happy Holidays! GA reviews

Hi there. I noticed you've got four GA reviews that you signed up to do three or four weeks ago but currently haven't contributed to. Was wondering if you were going to get around to them. The four are Førde Airport, Bringeland, Padre de Familia, Peter's Daughter, and McStroke. —Ed!(talk) 03:53, 17 December 2012 (UTC)

Hi Ed! I'm aware of that, and the reason I have not reviewed them yet is because the nominators have not editing Wikipedia in days now. Also, the last time, a couple weeks back, that I reviewed one of the above nominator's candidate, they didn't do anything to fix or address the issues, so they were probably too busy. At what point those edits return to editing, I'll review. Happy Holidays, TBrandley 04:07, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
That's generally not how it works; you review and if they don't respond, you fail it so it doesn't waste resources like it is now. --Rschen7754 05:00, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
It is for the benefit of everyone, I don't want to waste my or their own time, so I simply wait until they become active again. Of course, I'd be more than happy to review soon, to get it off the current backlog soon. TBrandley 05:06, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
It's not fair to the other people who are waiting for their articles to be reviewed. --Rschen7754 05:09, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
Your missing my point, but I'll review within next few days, regardless of their current edit status. TBrandley 05:11, 17 December 2012 (UTC)

Your FAC reviews

Hi, TBrandley. I frequently find myself in the position of following your Support declarations at FAC and FLC with serious Opposes, noting glaring prose, grammatical, MOS, citation and sourcing issues. I'm wondering if you keep FACs and FLCs watchlisted after you Support or if you revisit your Supports to see if subseequent reviewers have found issues? If you did, you might realize that other reviewers are frequently finding issues in articles you have supported; it would be helpful if you would keep FACs you Support watchlisted so you can explain why you Support when others are finding issues. Another thing you might do is complete your review, but hold off on Supporting until you see other reviewers have cleared the article; it seems your reviews are missing a lot. Regards, SandyGeorgia (Talk) 04:57, 17 December 2012 (UTC)

Yes, I'll admit, prose is not exactly at the top of my eye, but I am certainly familiar with the Manual of Style at Wikipedia. No, I will not be "holding" off until other reviewers have cleared the article. Wikipedia does not have owners. I admit, sometimes I can be blind, but I always find a number of Manual of Styles issues from many areas of the specific article, just prove that I look through it. I don't ever recall big sourcing concerns for one of my reviews at featured article candidates. Stay civil please! TBrandley 05:03, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
I'm not sure why you reference WP:CIVIL or WP:OWN; constructive feedback is part of a collaborative process in a collegial environment. I am hoping you will slow down on entering Supports, or at least keep FACs watchlisted when you have Supported so that you might re-evaluate your position if significant issues are brought to light by other reviewers. Reading other reviewer commentary, and learning from them, helps all reviewers improve. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 06:23, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
Okay then, thanks. TBrandley 16:31, 17 December 2012 (UTC)

Hi there. I saw you leave a message on my talk, and I would like to let you know that kinda was a mistake that you got rid of it. The referral link shows clearly that Nude Beach will be airing on January 13, if it was of course the FOX Flash link. Articles for creation/TwinsUK declined...

Hi there, I was wondering if you could give me some help before I resubmit this page for review.

I've added 2 more substantial references of organisations that we work with: The Wellcome Trust and King's College London.

Would this be enough to get past the reveiw process?

Please advise that every bit of information needs to be referenced by a "reliable" source? In this case am I giving too much information and I should reduce the text?

I would really appreciate your help on this as we are a large research department and we think it would benefit wikipedia if we were represented.

History of encyclopedias

I'm looking into the copyvio issue.

The material came from the article Encyclopedia, in the process of being split (see Wikipedia:Splitting and Wikipedia:Summary style.

Where it came before that is what I'm looking into now. I'm in the process of checking that article's history. I'll report my findings shortly. Please remove the speedy delete request. I'll put it back myself if the material did not originate in the article Encyclopedia. The Transhumanist 21:39, 21 December 2012 (UTC)

I am aware of the splitting and summary style guidelines, and I believe it was appropriate to have a seperate article. Entries, however, must not contain copyright violations, but it appears you have addressed the concern or the bot was incorrect. So someone may wish to report the issue to the bot manager.
