Reverts[edit]

Is there a reason you keep reverting my edits? Granted, I get there can be conflicts but it's getting a little annoying. Because of one space? Really? Snickers2686 (talk) 01:27, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Snickers2686: I made both of the Alabama district court judge confirmations in one edit to the template while you were adding them one at a time. I didn't know why content was being removed so I reverted. The last revert was due to me being OCD and feeling that those spaces provided better formatting. – JocularJellyfish TalkContribs 02:48, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Subheading changes[edit]

Why are you switching "Nomination to..." to "Federal judicial service" already? I was under the impression that wasn't to happen until a judge was commissioned. Seems premature. Snickers2686 (talk) 02:06, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Snickers2686: I admit it is premature. Should I change the headings back for the next few days until the judges are commissioned? – JocularJellyfish TalkContribs 02:49, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@JocularJellyfish: If it were me, I would. It could be several days or months yet before they're commissioned. Snickers2686 (talk) 03:45, 2 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Beaverstock article[edit]

For this article, I say just be bold and move it; not very many people have edited the page. I'm not even sure why the creator used his full name in the first place! I'm sure there are others just like this one. Corky 01:32, 8 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Corkythehornetfan: Is it alright to do that if the WP:RM is still pending? – JocularJellyfish TalkContribs 01:42, 8 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes... we can close it as "withdrawn" and then move the page. If you don't want to do it, let me know and I can do it... assuming you're good with it. Corky 02:10, 8 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Corkythehornetfan: I'm fine with withdrawing the RM. Please have at it. – JocularJellyfish TalkContribs 02:11, 8 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Perfect, the move has been  Done Thanks, Corky 02:15, 8 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hurff Ackerman Saunders Federal Building and Robert Boochever U.S. Courthouse[edit]

I'm out of mobile data, generally swamped with real life and am running very late to get out the door as we speak, so I dunno how quickly I can reply if you do reply. Basically, given that the encyclopedia has gradually moved in the direction of being dumbed down to accomodate the non-existent attention spans of folks these days, I find it hard to believe that a title this ridiculously long could possibly be the common name of this building. Moreover, the article's creator has shown a long-term pattern of confusing official names with common names and not understanding the underlying policy. In essence, is a cosmetic change in the form of your page move really accomplishing anything? Morris Communications kept an extensive story archive on the websites of their newspapers. They recently sold the Juneau Empire and other newspapers. The new owners decided to remove that story archive and I haven't had time to see what exists on NewsBank or newspaperarchive.com or similar. Therefore, I'm not sure that sufficient online resources exist at present to sort that out. The Commons category is at "Category:Juneau Federal Building", which would suffice perfectly over here IMO. RadioKAOS / Talk to me, Billy / Transmissions 02:22, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@RadioKAOS: I'll be brief and say that I made the move because of other federal courthouses having "U.S." instead of "US". In all honesty, I don't know what the courthouse is commonly named, but I do believe that if it is called the "Juneau Federal Building", by all means, the article should be moved again to adjust for that. – JocularJellyfish TalkContribs 02:28, 17 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Allison Jones Rushing[edit]

Thanks for your edits. Source for her Place of birth is the National Review external link. I cleaned up her lede name-her maiden name is listed under infobox.Bjhillis (talk) 01:17, 29 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Bjhillis: Thanks for YOUR edits. They really helped to fill the article out. As for the place of birth, I took at the National Review article and I still think that it needs better sourcing, because while she may be from X, she may have been born in a nearby city and that locale would be in the infobox. – JocularJellyfish TalkContribs 01:51, 29 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

George T. Frampton Jr.[edit]

You might be interested in Draft:George T. Frampton Jr. Last year it was rejected as not notable. I clarified notability. If you agree, it's ready to re-submit.Bjhillis (talk) 01:22, 29 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Bjhillis: Looks good to me. Go for it. – JocularJellyfish TalkContribs 01:52, 29 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
