Who do I go to about getting that page set up? I noticed that all the pages up to 1999 are set up. Is 1998 going to be set up? I just think that it should have been set up since all other years have been set up. And I know that you have done work on some of these pages, so I was wondering if you were interested in helping. List of World War II films

Thanks very much for today's edits. Those are appreciated.
100K edits. I have 60K in English (70K total) and I don't remember ever seeing your name.
I think that's what happens when there are 3000K articles in enwiki.

You probably don't need things to pursue. But ...
I have been doing a major restructuring of that page for weeks.
So I have not been looking at issues like those you addressed today.
So if you are looking for a place that needs help ...
I suspect the page often (very often?) has its title link on the foreign language name, which goes through a redir to English, or maybe even redlinks. Links are often in the wrong place. Probably.
When I finish my endless restructuring, I will probably be so sick of this page, that I won't be addressing such matters for some time.

DABs

Hi. Thanks for all your work in cleaning up disambiguations but please don't disambiguate to red links in the date pages as you did at April 12. Any item that doesn't have a proper target should be removed entirely. Swayback Maru Mufka's alternate account (talk) 14:57, 11 May 2012 (UTC)

I don't see the logic to such an approach. The redlink encourages editors who see it to write the article. bd2412 T 18:39, 11 May 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation work at List of township-level divisions of FOO

I would appreciate it if you marked with {{dn}} those ambiguous links where there is no link matching the description on the corresponding DAB pages. It both alerts me to the fact that the DAB pages are missing these entries and allows me to correctly disambiguate according to the rather complicated conventions set forth at WP:NC-ZH#Administrative. Layperson's opinion requested

I need your help. I clicked on "Random article," the entry for Leshan came up and I saw that you edited that page, so I'm asking you. I'm undertaking major work on User analysis for the sake of clarity. As a subject matter expert, I might take my own knowledge of the information for granted and I need someone who is unfamiliar with the subject to tell me if my rewrite of the article makes it clear enough. If you have the time, could you just look at the article and tell me if a reader unfamiliar with the subject would understand what I wrote? If not, I will need to perform further edits for style. That's it, no requests for edits (though obviously you and anybody else is free to do so). I just need like a minute or so of your time to read the article and perhaps post on its talk page whether it is written well-enough for a layperson to understand. Thanks so much. disambiguation improvements

Hi JustAGal, glad to see you improving disambiguation in various ways, including at Fairview disambiguation page and some related Wm Jennings Bryan house linking pages. I hope you don't mind i followed up your edit at Bryan House to add links to the Wm Jennings Bryan houses, at least one of which you had deleted in favor of the separate William Jennings Bryan House (disambiguation) page. I think it helps to have all 4 mentioned in the state-ordered big Bryan House dab page, and for that page to link to the separate dab page of just the Wm Jennings Bryan ones as it does now. So readers who just have heard mention of a Bryan house in a certain area can easily find their way to them. If you disagree, please discuss at Talk:Bryan House i suppose, or contact me otherwise. Anyhow, thanks for your good work! --doncram 17:46, 20 March 2013 (UTC)

Silvertone Records

Given you just changed the "See also" section on Silvertone Records (1916) from "Silvertone Records" to "Silvertone Records (disambiguation)" and that "Silvertone Records (disambiguation)" re-directs to "Silvertone Records", are you planning a page move for either "Silvertone Records" or "Silvertone Records (1916)"? It makes plausible sense to move the 1916 version to the main "Silvertone Records" page, as it is the most successful of three labels listed. Otherwise why change to a re-direct page? Just curious, the 1916 article has been on my radar to update for awhile, I just haven't gotten around to it. All the best, 78.26 (I'm no IP, talk to me!) 21:12, 17 April 2013 (UTC)

Hi JustAGal, I'm sending you this message because you're one of about 300 users who have recently edited an article in the umbrella category of open educational resources (OER) (or open education). In evaluating several projects we've been working on (e.g. the WIKISOO course and WikiProject Open), my colleague Pete Forsyth and I have wondered who chooses to edit OER-related articles and why. Regardless of whether you've taken the WIKISOO course yourself - and/or never even heard the term OER before - we'd be extremely grateful for your participation in this brief, anonymous survey before 27 April. May 2014 disambig contest: let's do it again!

Greetings fellow disambiguator! Remember back in February when we made history by clearing the board for the first time ever, for the monthly disambiguation contest? Let's do it again in May! I personally will be aiming to lead the board next month, but for anyone who thinks they can put in a better effort, I will give a $10 Amazon gift card to any editor who scores more disambiguation points in May. Also, I will be setting up a one-day contest later in the month, and will try to set up more prizes and other ways to make this a fun and productive month. Cheers! bd2412 T 18:48, 28 April 2014 (UTC)

Studio Ekran disambiguation

I noticed you added some disambiguation to the Studio Ekran page. Thanks! One question, though: you linked Ostankino to the television tower. It seems like it should be directed to Channel One Russia, at the time called 1-й_канал_Останкино (First Channel Ostankino), which seems to be the intended context. Bohemian National Cemetery in Omaha

I noticed that you disambiguated Bohemian National Cemetery to Bohemian National Cemetery (Omaha, Nebraska) in the article on Czechs in Omaha, Nebraska. Do you plan on starting an article on that cemetery? If so, that would be great. So far there are two articles about Bohemian cemeteries in the United States, so it would be wonderful if more articles on these cemeteries would be created. There are at least 10 such cemeteries in the US, that I know of. If you aren't interested in starting the Omaha article, that understandable. Thanks. Help reviewing suggestion for NFLPA exec bio

Hi there, I'm looking for help with a small addition to the article for NFLPA exec George Atallah and found your name on the list of participants at WikiProject NFL. Since you're one of just a few active editors there, I'm reaching out in the hope that you might have a little time to take a look at an edit I'm requesting to the article on behalf of the NFLPA. I won't make any edits to the article myself because I'm working on behalf of the NFLPA and therefore have a conflict of interest.

The full request is on the Talk page of the article if you're able to take a look. In short the proposed addition to the page is to note Atallah's statement about player rights, following Ray Rice's indefinite suspension. Would you mind reviewing and adding it to the article if it looks ok? Thanks in advance! 16912 Rhiannon (Talk · COI) 21:15, 3 November 2014 (UTC)

Just to let you know, another editor has answered this request, so I'm all set here. Thanks, 16912 Rhiannon (Talk · COI) 22:27, 5 November 2014 (UTC)

About your (non)participation in the January 2012 SOPA vote

Hi JustAGal. I am Piotr Konieczny (User:Piotrus), you may know me as an active content creator (see my userpage), but I am also a professional researcher of Wikipedia. Recently I published a paper (downloadable here) on reasons editors participated in Wikipedia's biggest vote to date (January 2012 WP:SOPA). I am now developing a supplementary paper, which analyzes why many editors did not take part in that vote. Which is where you come in :) You are a highly active Wikipedian (95th), and you were active back during the January 2012 discussion/voting for the SOPA, yet you did not chose to participate in said vote. I'd appreciate it if you could tell me why was that so? For your convenience, I prepared a short survey at meta, which should not take more than a minute of your time. I would dearly appreciate you taking this minute; not only as a Wikipedia researcher but as a fellow content creator and concerned member of the community (I believe your answers may help us eventually improve our policies and thus, the project's governance). PS. If you chose to reply here (on your userpage), please WP:ECHO me. Thank you! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 01:10, 13 February 2015 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Capture of Medina-Sidonia (712)

The article Capture of Medina-Sidonia (712) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Far too short for a separate article - can be covered in Medina-Sidonia#History.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A tag has been placed on Pushkin Street (disambiguation) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
  • disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
  • is an orphaned redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
