1997–98 Wills Challenge Series

India toured Pakistan in 1997/98 to play this three-match ODI series to commemorate 50 years of Pakistan's independence. I am not sure what section it qualifies under in this template: the 'Test and LOI tours' or the 'Tournaments hosted'. All those tournaments added under the latter have all involved 'Multiple teams' as the template says. So if it has to be added under the former section, should the name of the page be changed to Indian cricket team in Pakistan in 1997–98? Thanks. Editor5454 (talk) 06:57, 1 April 2018 (UTC)

Hi @Editor5454: - looking at the Cricinfo scorecards, it says the matches are part of the "India in Pakistan ODI Series 1997/98", and the first ODI has the heading "1st ODI, India tour of Pakistan at Hyderabad...". I'm guessing that Wills Challenge is some sort of sponsership name (cf. Stats

Hi, appreciate the acknowledgement about the Kohli stats and agree with you about Steve Smith (cheat). I more reader than editor here and, well, blocks of stats are a distraction that just put you off reading the article. Fine with the infobox concept and like to see a table that summarizes and explains useful information like the squad tables in some of the tour articles, or those continuity boxes for a team captaincy or a world record. checking date formats and using edit summaries

Making edits like this where you're updating the last date an article was checked for compliance with WP:MOSDATE isn't intuitive. I had to check the {{Use mdy dates}}'s documentation to understand what you're doing. If not for the fact that you're an established user I'd've just reverted you. Wikipedia is a collaborative environment and using an edit summary that lets onlookers know what you're doing helps. I appreciate the work you put in here and if you could be a little clearer it would save everyone but you some time. (I am not watching this page, so please ping me if you want my attention.) There's a bit of WP:COI going on there! The official site should be used once, in the external links section (IMO). Everything else should be sourced from another WP:RS. I quickly loaded the guy's website, and it was just an advert for videos. Linking to that homepage doesn't actually cite all the claims in the article. Regarding the List of most-viewed Asian music videos on YouTube

Well, I created this article with the mindset that every eager mind who wants to clarify the position of various countries of Asia on the platform of YouTube can have an access to the article created by me. It is true that there is not any official release of any article on the web stating this kind of list but it can be noted that there are several articles depicting the tops of individual countries like that of Korea (K-pop), Japan (J-pop), Vietnam (V-pop), Middle East (Arabic songs), India (Bollywood songs and others) and infact almost every region of Asia possess this kind of list. So, what do you say, are they all narrow minded? It is totally obivious that now the world is globalised. So, the music production by any country may seem the participation of other but that doesn't play with the very identity of the song (resembling the culture). Regarding the negligence of middle east, I tried my best to include each and every part of Asia in it, but I could not make it happen because not every part of Asia could make it to the list (means lowering the bar below 350 million would make the article a mess because there are a lot of many videos above 300 million views). For example, V-pop's best has around 336 million views, J-pop's best have 185 million, Arabic best is more than 600 million views, but it was from a Moroccan singer (and exclusively produced by a Moroccan company). So I could not include them in the list. Well, I am not saying that they will never make it to the list or I have the full editing rights on the article. Anyone can edit it and include others in the future and exactly that's how Wikipedia works. Regarding the breach of the very rights of Wikipedia, I have not made this article for using any propaganda or with wrong mindset or intention. If anybody feels so, then he has the full rights regarding molding the article in the way it suits an encyclopediac content and making it fruitful for others.

Hi Lugnuts. I accept your apology. I always have utmost respect for you for the immense contribution you make in Wikipedia. We shared a cordial relationship when I initially joined but then we had some differences in opinion and you turned hostile towards me. I always felt bad and hurt at those insults and abuse hurled at me. You were one of the users I always asked in case of any problems, but then you told me to get lost from your talkpage and totally isolated me. But honestly I never had hard feelings against you. I'm obviously ready to sort this out and make a fresh beginning like a family over here. I would like to have you as a friend and co-editor with a cordial relationship. The decision on the block rests with the administrators so hopefully they will decide what is right. Hi! Oooh, something else to add to my reading list. It had a special screening at the recent 2018 Cannes Film Festival. I hope they did it justice. Cricket Notability

Hello Lugnuts

Does this mean that I won't be allowed to create pages on Cricket Players. I think it would be beneficial if everyone is allowed to create the page and experienced administrators can review to ensure that no false/unsourced information is shared on the page.

I really want the articles to be moved back and need your help on this. Please provide help in sorting this issue.

Question about an undo

Why did you revert my move and revision on Judo at the 1996 Summer Olympics – Women's 56 kg?

You moved it to Women's lightweight! A bit ambigious don't you think? Take a look at ALL sporting events at the Olympics (not just judo) and see how they're named. Many red links

Hi Lugnuts, I generally avoid red linking in festival lists unless I see possibility of an article being created for the link, and I'm never sure about it. I see others use red links more often. But in this case it seems to me no thought was given to notability of possible articles. What do you think is best here: to redlink or not to redlink? Thanks.

What a mess! Most of the links don't even go to film articles. The vast majority of those minor sections are non-notable student films, that will probably never get an article. You reverted the edits on the broadcasters list on the Global T20 Canada article with explanation. I know that there was no source and I would have given it later. Hi Lugnuts - I bring your attention to 2015 Cricket World Cup#Broadcasting rights, as well as 2018 FIFA World Cup broadcasting rights. Regarding the Canada T20 event, it was certainly unsourced, but I'm sure a source can be found and added by User:A Simple Human.
