My request[edit]

What happend to it? Sorry to sound like a child, but there are so many threads to follow, and places to request and/or add things. I cannot find my article request, and I am not sure if I need to do anything further at this point. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Joemonty (talkcontribs) 19:20, 1 May 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Thank you[edit]

Chechen people stubs[edit]

Hi Pegship

Would you mind checking this one again? I've removed the flag and reference to the secessionist government as agreed on the page, but as I read the debate, consensus was to upmerge it to Category:Russian people stubs provided the template was kept at all. I'm still very uneasy about this template, but even more so if it is not parented by the internationally recognized owners of the territory. Happy editing. Hello. I see that you have done a great deal of work in the List of fiction works made into feature films article, so I'd like to ask for your thoughts and/or advice on something. On that list, Force 10 From Navarone, the title of the work by Alistair MacLean, actually redirects to Force 10 from Navarone (film), rather than to Force 10 From Navarone (novel). This is not in keeping with the other films I have looked at on said list. Currently, nothing links to the Force 10 From Navarone redirect---because I went through and altered all the articles that used to link there---so, couldn't I simply change the redirect to go to the novel? Given the slight difference in title, i.e., the capital "F" in "From," would that not be enough to keep the two titles separate and distinct? Sorry if I have made this overly-complicated, but sometimes redirects get tricky. Thank you for your time. Cheers! ---Cathal 02:28, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I shall do so almost immediately. Thank you for your quick reply. ---Cathal 02:43, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Veddy curious[edit]

Hmmmmm.... Go here and text search: 02:48, 8 December 2006 (UTC). (Thought your kids might have been redecorating or something!) Besides, I owe you an Hey there! Gal-- how's things been? (I think it's been since Easter, forsooth! I'm actually back to editing articles and novels and feeling like a real wikipedian again! Course I be neglecting WP:TSP shamelessly to do that, but one cannot live by templates and categories alone! Cheers! // FrankB 03:28, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tip (As in I wish you'd done this!) If you set up a common maintenance page with your archives, and include that as if a template on all your pages where needed, such as the archives, when you add a new page, it'll show up on all the archives and so forth so you can navigate from one to the next at need (As I need to do now that I can't find IT here either!) <g> Next! ~<:8)) See my header for an example of one way to do it. Bottom line, any page can act as a template, so use it to advantage! // FrankB 04:04, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Puzzled or failing memor indicative of advancing senility
Tanks, and likewise... commiserations with the end of school daze. I was trying to order from Amazon, and am searching for the ISBN/Title and what-not you dug out for me, iirc, back in Feb. Is that on my talk or yours--I thought it was here, but I'm going there next as I couldn't find the discussion here in your archives. // FrankB 04:17, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Definitely advanced senility-- t'wasn't last Feb, but last August! Yikes am I behind in life! // FrankB 04:45, 30 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you remove Category:Non-fiction books from the Shop Talk article? It is a non-fiction book, is it not? --dm (talk) 23:50, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bednaya Nastya[edit]

I'd like to ask about Bednaya Nastya's cast. I have tried to find the name of Sedoi's actor for a long time but I haven't found (not even from here). I only found the name of Rada's actress. Is there any possibility that you could find that name? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.186.253.235 (talkcontribs)

anime-stub /P "closure"[edit]

Bit swift on the archiving there, no? Alai 20:13, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Lack of agreement, yes, but also on-going discussion, not to mention a long-standing need (which at at risk of seeming biased, the "too many stub types" arguments aren't really addressing). Alai 22:04, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit to the Up Series[edit]

Hello Pegship. I just had a quick question. The Up Series is on my watchlist and in checking up on the change of categories that you made I read the note about the old category being to vague. I couldn't agree more. The rest of the note about the two categories that the television documentaries in the current category should be divided into did bring about my question. My first thought was that, because this is a series of seven films (so far), that it should be put into the "series" category but then I figured that there may be some reason that it did not qualify for this section and that was why you had put it into the "films" one, but, since I couldn't come up with one I thought that I would come and ask you what the difference is between the two. Please note that I am not complaining or demanding that it be changed I just want to be clear in my head on what the difference between the two categories is so that if I come upon any other documentaries that need to be changed I can put them in the correct one based on the criteria that those of you who agreed upon this change are using. Thanks for your time and happy editing :) MarnetteD | Talk 18:22, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your reply Pegship. That clears things up and I appreciate the time you took in explaining things. Cheers. MarnetteD | Talk 20:46, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The list of environment-theme lists of topics[edit]

The list of environment-theme lists of topics has been nominated for deletion, and the matter is being discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of environment-theme lists of topics. Thank you[edit]

Thank you for your help with the audio stub. Much appreciated, Thedjatclubrock :) (talk) 00:26, 27 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, is there a reason for removing the {{anarchism-stub}} tag from this article? Cheers! Murderbike 22:24, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Meh, no big deal. I was just curious, I suppose I'm biased towards the anarchism one, because I think folks interested in anarchism will find the article most interesting, but doesn't really matter. Murderbike 22:29, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Stub-sorting[edit]

Hi Pegship! I am new at stub-sorting and hope I am doing things right. Would appreciate if you could point out any mistakes you see. And, by the way, is it okay to add two and more applicable stub tags to the same page? Thank you! Zondi 19:45, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Great! Thank you for the details. Let me experiment later this afternoon then. I get my tags from this page [2], hope it is uptodate. Thanks and talk to you more. Zondi 20:45, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
