Birth date anomaly at Hendra Purnama

Duplicate

Hi, the article Ted Parry, that you created, appears to be a duplicate of Edward Parry (footballer). Do you have any opinion on what name the player would be more widely recognised under in order to merge the two? There seems to be more sources for Ted rather than Edward from a quick Google search. @Lugnuts:, thanks for the notice, I saw it already before. However, I'm pretty much done with it. All articles will be deleted with the feeling it wasn't 100% fair. Wikipedia will loose many articles and many good stubs where many other editors putted loads of work in will be lost. And Wikipedia lost a full-time working editor. Such a shame. I'm trying to minimize the deletions, at least it saving them from all being deleted come the stroke of midnight on whatever date is agreed. That bot is not evil. There was enough discussion about the problems and shortcomings of the articles of SvG. Moving to draft space is an alternative for mass deletion, so hopefully people can improve the articles by checking if the sources are correct, add more sources, make sure the articles do not fall foul of WP:ONEEVENT, add some context and give some details about the human behind the sporter.
