It "doesn't seem to be neutral"

If you think that my article is not neutral enough, then my apologies. Nevertheless, I would like to clear few things first:

  1. Wikipedia defines neutral editing as "Editing from a neutral point of view (NPOV) means representing fairly, proportionately, and as far as possible without bias and published by reliable sources"
  2. Verifiability on Wikipedia is the "ability to cite reliable sources that directly support the information in an article"

I don't think I have wittingly published any information without relevant citation/source or published excessively biased information or, for that matter presented my unfounded opinions as facts. Having said that, I concede I might have unwittingly done so. If I had, and you can prove it then please correct my article. Don’t worry!

  • And about that pic, I'd ask you not to worry at all. I know the guy who drew it for me. That pic (which I published) isn't the original!

That article is exclusively about India's naval prospect but that doesn't necessarily make it a biased article. I am not done yet on that article. I will add more sources and citations! Thank you! Nice talking to you!

WikiProject India Tag & Assess 2012 Contest

Hello friends, we are a number of editors from WikiProject India have got together to assess the many thousands of articles under the stewardship of the project, and we'd love to have you, a fellow member, join us. These articles require assessment, that is, the addition of a WikiProject template to the talk page of an article, assessing it for quality and importance and adding a few extra parameters to it.

As of March 11, 2012, 07:00 UTC, WikiProject India has 95,998 articles under its stewardship. Of these 13,980 articles are completely unassessed (both for class and importance) and another 42,415 articles are unassessed for importance only. Accordingly, a Tag & Assess 2012 drive-cum-contest has begun from March 01, 2012 to last till May 31, 2012.

Hi there! I noticed that you requested usage of AutoWikiBrowser. I'm not an admin, so I can't make the final decision. I noted on the the page that you only have 159 out of the required 500 article namespace edits. IMHO, an admin is unlikely to give you permission for this tool, but I think you may increase your chances if you try to explain why you deserve this tool with so few edits to actual articles. On the main page it says "Except in unusual circumstances, users with fewer than 500 edits in the article namespace will not be added to the list. You can check your edit count through Special:Preferences. If you have under 500 edits and would like to use AWB for a specific reason, please list that reason when you request access." Russian in Eng Wiki?

What article might that be? If you are talking about Мистер Твистер the article is in English. The article starts with "is a rockabilly band from Russia. The band was formed..." and that looks like English to me. Perhaps you should check your browser settings or something. // Liftarn (talk)

The band name and the names of the albums are in Russian as that's they are named so. As the article clearly is in English and not Russian I have now removed the tags. Please be more careful before placing such tags in the future. Thank you. // Liftarn (talk)

Siachen Glacier

The source is unverifiable from the Google Books. I tried with a proxy but could not get to page 109. 15,000 seems too excessive.

This source & this lists 5000. Authenticity is not known however there are several newspaper sources for this. Use this to give a better estimate. AshLin (talk) 17:25, 27 April 2012 (UTC)

WP:Adopt-a-user

I saw that you recently faced a problem regarding canvassing. Well, when I was new to wiki and became active for only 1 month, I faced edit warnings for vandalism, CSD missuse. I was warned twice that I'd be blocked in future also. So when compared to me you are doing superb!

So my message is; Under the project of adoption, I have adopted 2 users. One is inactive but other is good. I have always helped them whenever asked. I have also guided them for few things. I have always helped them in times of conflicts. But not much constructive. So, to make my point stronger and to teach those users for becoming excellent, I have created a 5 step programme to graduate from my adoption programme. It'll last for 2 weeks and in that they will learn to work in admin related works and other important areas of wiki. In the end, a exam will be there. Also will get 6 barnstars in all this process. This will also make them a strong candidate for adminship in future and will gain experience as well as respect from the community.

As one user whom I have adopted is inactive, she will not go through it. But the other user wants to be admin and is also active so I m going to give him the special training course created by me.

If you say, I can also teach you about policies and different works on wiki under my special course of 2 weeks.

It'll be an amazing experience and you'll learn how wiki works in short

Well I would suggest you to experiment in the Special:MyPage/sandbox, and come with a nice one. As it might be confusing if you comment on article's talk pages with ever changing signatures, and others may raise protest. hope you got my point :)
sign bot comes only if you fail to use four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comment on talk pages, its a common problem for beginners, even I had to face that in my early days-- ÐℬigXЯaɣ 14:38, 30 April 2012 (UTC)

  • another tip, {{talkback}} are not needed everytime you give your response. It is done for the first time, as after one talkback, normally the users add that talkpage in their watch list. and multiple talkback templates in quick intervals sometimes can annoy.   • cool just wanted to tell you that |index=yes|archivebox=yes index will give you a page like a table of contents for easy reference and box gives you a search box as you can see on top. The first archiving will be done by the bot after 2-3 days. I think this delay is so that you can make up your mind on the parameters after that the bot will generally arrive daily for a cleanup, also keep in minf that you can change the parameters on your choice whenever you like, hope this helps-- ÐℬigXЯaɣ 17:25, 30 April 2012 (UTC)

  • (talk page stalker)just a suggestion Sri, in future [4] such cases of multiple external links are "often" removed because a lot of times (there are exceptions though :) ) they are used as spam links and advertising, besides looking at the edit summary is a major clue while reverting vandalism, I am happy to see that Bearcat has forgiven you at once. you had almost reported an admin to the wp:AIV to be blocked . I still doubt why even after 5 warnings STiki did not automatically report, Normally after 3 warnings the editor is warned 4th time as well as reported. May be admins can not be reported to AIV. When I was new to wiki, 1 month ago, I had the same attitude and behaviour but it landed me in a lot of trouble. I m not sure that DBX will like the TB placed bu you on his tp. Be little low and think before doing anything on talkpages as it caused a lot of problem and it brought me down in past. I don't want to see you in such situation, so....   • Sri and Harsh first learn to get good and reliable references that etablish notability of the article, before jumping in to edit the content. if the article fails wp:GNG it will be deleted anyway, with all your hardwork wasted.
