6/27/10 service changes
Not realizing that you were already on it, I also created entirely new articles for the NYCT service changes, currently stored in my sandbox. However, the articles I did also have updated subway service changes in mind (i.e., the orange M and no G in Queens beyond Court Square or the W), as well as some more details. If it is possible to reconcile the articles, please do so.--AEMoreira042281 (talk) 05:47, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
I don't know how to reconcile the articles, but I will add the subway service changes to mine. You can do the Dutchess County LOOP changes though.Train2104 (talk) 22:21, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
Connections deletions
Hello, why did you delete the connections sections on all the Metro North station articles such as Fairfield (Metro-North station)? Markvs88 (talk) 12:36, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
It's redundant with the info in the infobox. Train2104 (talk) 12:36, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
- Fair enough, but you could've mentioned that in the edit summary. Thanks, Markvs88 (talk) 15:41, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
X-bus connections
Normally, for connections in the subway pages, only local bus routes are listed. Some of the connections, however, had not been updated and were erroneous. --AEMoreira042281 (talk) 00:11, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
- I did most of the local connections, although I did wonder why most of the Manhattan stations didn't show the MTA Bus express routes. (5 Av/53rd is the exception). Train2104 (talk) 19:45, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
Your recent edits
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. Rewriting SEPTA Regional Rail articles
Personally, I think it sucks that SEPTA has changed the names of their regional railroad lines and gave them all one color. But aside from my personal feelings, I'd like to know if you plan to split the R-# lines and use the old designations in the articles. ----DanTD (talk) 23:38, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
- I will do the S-line templates and station pages to match current service patterns. I will not be splitting/disambiguating articles, although that is the plan. See Talk:SEPTA Regional Rail. Train2104 (talk) 23:41, 20 July 2010 (UTC)
- I thought I saw something about that, but I forgot where it was. Thanks a lot. ----DanTD (talk) 02:56, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
Job queue
Hi - I think it was you, who I spoke to about template updates to the job queue, in the IRC help channel? If so, then I just wanted to mention that there is more info at Help:Job queue. If not, and you've no idea what I am talking about, then forgive me and ignore this. Cheers, Chzz ► 17:47, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, it was me. Thanks for the link. For "estimated job queue length" on the statistics page, what is the unit? Train2104 (talk) 18:00, 26 July 2010 (UTC)
Re: SEPTA Regional Rail
You said yourself that splitting the lines is in the plan. However, I'm not the one who picked the names. Talk to User:Murjax. ----DanTD (talk) 01:11, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
- Splitting is the plan, but we have to temporarily stop for some articles. The names were picked out on the RRD talk page, and I agreed to them and based all the articles on them. We need to get an admin to move the R-pages over the multi-edit redirects that I created and you edited. For the redirects that I created but you didn't chapterize, the process can continue. Had Chestnut Hill East Line (SEPTA) not been created, I would never had "ordered" the stoppage. Train2104 (talk) 01:20, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
- Okay, but can't we just rename Chestnut Hill East Line (SEPTA) as the more accuratley planned Chestnut Hill East Line? ----DanTD (talk) 01:29, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
- I have to apologize for naming the Chestnut Hill article as I did. I wasn't aware that there was an agreement as to how these pages were to be dealt with. Next time please take discussions to the Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Trains page. They will be seen by more people and mistakes such as this are less likely to happen. Now moving on, I don't see what the big deal is here. Only a few of the redirects have been chapterized. If you do it a certain way you can still simply copy the information on one train over to one of the redirects, then rename the original page for the other train. Let me propose an idea for each line.
- Okay, but can't we just rename Chestnut Hill East Line (SEPTA) as the more accuratley planned Chestnut Hill East Line? ----DanTD (talk) 01:29, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
1. Airport Line (SEPTA) has no chapters, simply move R1 (SEPTA) to the redirect.
2. Copy info on Warminster Line and paste in the Warminster Line redirect.
3. Move R2 (SEPTA) to Wilmington/Newark Line.
4. Copy info on West Trenton Line and paste in West Trenton Line redirect.
5. Move R3 (SEPTA) to Media/Elwyn Line.
6. Copy info on Lansdale/Doylestown Line and paste in Lansdale/Doylestown Line redirect.
7. Move R5 (SEPTA) to Paoli/Thorndale Line.
8. Copy info on Manayunk/Norristown Line and paste in the Manayunk/Norristown Line redirect.
9. Move R6 (SEPTA) to Cynwyd Line.
10. Move Chestnut Hill East Line (SEPTA) to Chestnut Hill East Line
10. Copy info on Fox Chase Line and paste in the Fox Chase Line redirect.
11. Rename R8 (SEPTA) to Chestnut Hill West Line.
Murjax (talk) 03:22, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
That is a good idea. 2 problems:
- West Trenton Line is a disambig. The correct title for the page is West Trenton Line (SEPTA)
- It will not be possible to move Chestnut Hill East Line (SEPTA) onto Chestnut Hill East Line unless an admin does it.
Also, why aren't the Center City stations listed in the station listings for each line?
Thanks. Train2104 (talk) 14:12, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
- Alright, for step 4 copy the info on the West Trenton and paste it in West Trenton Line (SEPTA), and for step 10 copy the info on Chestnut Hill East Line (SEPTA) and put it in Chestnut Hill East Line. As for the station listings, I'm not sure why whoever made them forgot to add Center City. It's an easy fix though, so I say go ahead and split the pages first and then deal with the station listings afterwards. Murjax (talk) 21:39, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
- OK, go ahead. However, might we need {{db-histmerge}} for the Chestnut Hill East page? Train2104 (talk) 21:43, 27 July 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, we will as there have been a few edits made since the page was created. Murjax (talk) 15:23, 28 July 2010 (UTC)
- I'm taking care of the Chestnut Hill East Line page move. I simply added {{db-g6}} to the page to reverse the redirect. –Dream out loud (talk) 15:37, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
- As soon as the page is deleted, immediately move the article!!! There will be hundreds of redlinks if you wait too long. Train2104 (talk) 16:25, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
Your CSD decline of Nicki Minaj Untitled Debut Album
I know that technically R2 is not for redirects to the WP namespace but I was incubating the article and the instructions at WP:INCUBATE say Any redirect left in articlespace at [[Example article]] must be tagged for speedy deletion as a cross-namespace redirect using {{db-r2}}. --Ron Ritzman (talk) 00:33, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
CSD tagging of user space articles
I have declined your mass tagging of the test pages by User:Visviva and the redlinked redirects at User:Tothwolf/List of Internet Relay Chat clientsuser and User:PressedBack/Live Native. I declined the tagging of Visviva's as they are in user space and test articles are allowable in user space. As for the two broken redirects, while they are indeed broken and could qualify for CSD G8, user space articles are given a certain amount of leeway. I have declined them because I think it would be better if the editors in question maintain their own user space article. If they want the dead redirect to be deleted, they can request it be deleted from their user space. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:56, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

All inhabited places are notable. Even one sentence that gives the name and geographical location is a valid stub, though if a source is not present, an "unsourced" tag should be added. Roundy's redirect
For an unknown reason the term "chairman bob" redirects to Roundy's. Until there is a good reason for this the redirect should be removed. It is such a vague and general term, and is being used in a demeaning and libellous manner by some. As such there is no encyclopedic value in this redirect. Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Joseph Robert Neil James
Can you reopen Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Joseph Robert Neil James? The previous page was deleted because the author blanked it, and today the editor recreated it with new but similar soapboxy content. I don't think I could apply the CSD for content deleted by a deletion discussion, since essentially the discussion was speedy closed before a consensus was achieved.
That, or I could just go block the user for disruptive editing but I'd kind of like to have at least a full run MFD on my side prior to that.
I can't reopen it myself because I am the nominator.

Hello. I've removed the {{db-talk}} tag from this page because it no longer applies. The page was recreated as a redirect following a discussion with the previous deleting admin who had no objection to it being recreated with a target to the section of the Margaret Thatcher article that contains the relevant informaion. The discussion is contained on that page. If you disagree please take it to WP:RFD. Thanks TheRetroGuy (talk) 19:56, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

Hello Train2104. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Pilar Geijo, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: apparently notable, I'll source and expand. Thank you. —SpacemanSpiff 06:00, 13 August 2010 (UTC)
TFD/H
It would be great if you could help orphan these before removing them from the list [1]. I realize that they have already been deleted, but many still have transclusions since the closing admin didn't orphan them before deletion. Thanks! Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 14:46, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for notifying me, but they really shouldn't be deleted before orphaning them. Maybe have a bot that does it, like CfD does?—Train2104 (talk · contribs · count · email) 18:11, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
- I agree. Fastily actually deleted them without orphaning them, or dropping them in WP:TFD/H. After I discovered this, I listed them there to make sure the were at least eventually orphaned. I actually run SporkBot just for this purpose, so usually the holding cell is cleared fairly quickly. I have been extremely busy off-wiki recently, so I hadn't had a chance to get to run the bot yet. This is probably TMI, but thought I would let you know. In any event, thanks for your help. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 00:02, 17 August 2010 (UTC)

Blatant religious advertising by 95.133.117.5 (talk)

"Delete Wikipedia is not a vehicle for promotion, be it of a product, service, or religion."
In this case you must delete atheism portal, as wikipedia thus seems to promote atheism, though it is just what you say this is not for. Or otherwise there must be Hare Krishna portal. There is no way that atheism portal should be allowed to exist and so many people defend it, and as for Hare Krishna portal - I see already around 10 people said - to delete: [2] I already faced people who were against Hare Krishna, and I am not going to be like them anymore. So if you insist on deleting this - you must face consequences... I do not know about you, but if you say - wikipedia is not to promote religion... Then what is this??? If you do not like religion - anyway - it is your problem, your disease. So here is medicine. This Hare Krishna portal. Hare Krishna. I don't care about your frog philosophy. You may think materialism is something to be on wikipedia, and not religion??? Then you are like a frog which is thinking about ocean to be few times bigger than his/her pond... Thus materialist calculating, but you cannot know religion in this way. So you must accept authority, Vedas. Otherwise your future maybe subhuman. It is written so in Vedas - one who is against Vedas - he is punished to get lower birth - animal, plant... if he is very bad and against religion - he might be put into hell... And in certain cases - Supreme Personality of Godhead personally comes and kills such atheists who say here - no religion promotion on wikipedia... whatever you say - it is your so-called freedom. But actually real freedom is in spiritual world. Here is no freedom from birth, death, old age, disease. Materialists only have advanced in creating more dangerous weapons and only create more death, so how can I accept your words that there is no place of religion in wikipedia? I challenge you and others who say similar nonsense. And they must either shut up, or also become devotees and chant Hare Krishna. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.133.117.5 (talk) 19:56, 23 August 2010 (UTC) |

You are now a Reviewer
Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here.

Your request for rollback
Hi Train2104/Archive2010. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! FASTILY (TALK) 21:57, 3 September 2010 (UTC)

About Fir tex
Hello,
maybe im very new here and i dont know how to use coding, but i think i know some rules. For example, if a page was OK, it should be kept in wikipedia, not under a user-page, right? By the way, did you check what pages link there and could use that user-subpage as promo?. Thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.167.245.225 (talk) 00:23, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
- In most cases, users are allowed to draft articles in their user subpages. They should be moved into the mainspace when the author thinks it is ready. In most cases, userspace drafts are immune from speedy deletion. (attacks and advertising are the exceptions) — Train2104 (talk • contribs • count) 00:34, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
- What happens if this userpage is kept there for long time, and is used only to promote a product? Dont we have to discuss this further? As i said, im new here, but please take the time and mark appropriately this page for discussion. - Please dont get "mad" at me. As i said also to another user "Im not sure (if FirTex is used for promo), cause even in their website, i see they declare that their claims about benefits of this product are not proven. Anyway, im not expert. Because i dont know, maybe we should mark it then to be an article in wikipedia, and not kept in user page? Or, discuss if anybody could put an article not suitable for wikipedia, and we must leave him keep it in his userpage? Blame me i didnt mark this page properly, but all i want is either put that page in wikipedia as article if it can, or, totally remove it, as many external links point there - it can be used for promotion 79.167.245.225 (talk) 00:49, 25 September 2010 (UTC)
- The article was previously deleted by means of discussion, see here. It was then moved into the user page, so the author could work on it. A recreation of a substantially similar page to the one that was deleted (or a move back without a rewrite) could be deleted under CSD G4. Anyway, the userpage doesn't read much like blatant advertising to me, except the "special care" section. Please do not blank the page, if you wish to start a legitimate WP:MFD discussion, tag the page and post a notice on WT:MFD.— Train2104 (talk • contribs • count) 01:01, 25 September 2010 (UTC)

Hey Train. You just de-prodded this article with the edit summary "deprod, all other SAS stations have similar articles". Sorry, but other stuff doesn't prove an articles' notability. I am going to nominate for AfD, unless you have a good reason. I am also not familiar with the article's subject, so disregard this if it doesn't apply, but please see WP:CRYSTAL. - Redirecting is a good idea, but those that are already redirects should not be retargted to the main article. 96th Street, 86th Street, and 72nd Street should not be touched as they are already under construction.

I'm fine with leaving the article, as long as it's under construction, and I'll take your word on that, or it's being planned, and I can find some source. Otherwise, something that's just planned, and I know from a family member how many things are "planned", doesn't need it's own space. Nolelover 13:37, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
- I'm actually going to redirect all those south of 72nd Street, since construction probably wouldn't start until 2018 or beyond. — Train2104 (talk • contribs • count) 19:29, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
Hi, I've removed your G6 tag from this page for now and have left it blank, like it was before you tagged the page. (see here for more info) Regards, Airplaneman ✈ 01:04, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
- It was a broken redirect that was blanked by an anon, thinking it shouldn't be tagged for G8, so I tagged it as such. — Train2104 (talk • contribs • count) 23:16, 28 September 2010 (UTC)
CSD's of userpages
What's up with all the tagging? Many of them improperly done, and most needing to be declined ... (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 19:43, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
- If you look at the histories, you will see that all are TW or HG vandalism warnings that have been removed by the poster, mostly because they have been placed in error. — Train2104 (talk • contribs • count) 19:46, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
- But most are being placed wrong, and don'r fit the CSD category being placed anyway ... (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 21:32, 1 October 2010 (UTC)
Why the speedy? Now that SamuelTheGhost moved the article which was at the associated article page to Abdul Karim (the Munshi), it seems that the talk page will be needed to discuss the new article at Abdul Karim. Am I missing something?--Wehwalt (talk) 19:23, 8 October 2010 (UTC)
Proceed with delete
Hello Train, I see that you tagged File:Roman.Britain.towns.villas.jpg for speedy delete on wikipedia. Please proceed with the delete on wikipedia. I inadvertently altered the categories for this file on wikipedia (I wasn't paying attention and thought I was on commons, where the file actually resides), my apologies for any inconvenience that this has caused. I would have deleted the file myself had I known how to do it. As can be seen, I am the uploader on commons. Regards, Notuncurious (talk) 20:25, 8 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi Train2104 - "Rick DePiro (aka Ricky Dee) article question and apology to you
Hi Train!
First, I want to apologize for the move that put my Rick DePiro (aka Ricky Dee) article in the mainspace of Wikipedia before it's final and hopeful "ok" review was completed.. I noticed that somehow I had the title in the Article "review" page doubled and I was trying to get it to just have one title -- so when I moved it, I thought it would just fix the title and STILL be finally reviewed -- Im SO sorry to have bothered you and Wikipedia with this -- Is it still ok to have it in the review space so I can hope for a final OK -- Mr DePiro is a worthy Artist and I dont want my VERY first article to cause any problems for any of you at Wikipedia!
Thank you very much!

Re: Stub types for deletion
Hi Train2104. I've speedily closed the WP:SFD nomination you made and added a note at WP:DOT explaining why deprecated stub templates aren't deleted. You're right that simply saying that WP:DOT didn't apply to them did make it sound like they couldn't be deprecated. Grutness...wha? 23:16, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
- Should I modify {{tdeprecated}} to include a "nocat" parameter and use it on those templates? — Train2104 (talk • contribs • count) 23:21, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
- No, don't worry - I've created a new {{Stubdeprecated}} which will do the job more effectively than an extra parameter. Thanks for the suggestion, though :) Grutness...wha? 00:14, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
- OK, let me clean up some cats. — Train2104 (talk • contribs • count) 00:29, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
- I also created {{tdeprecated historical}} and Category:Deprecated templates kept for historical reasons to further clean up the DOT category. — Train2104 (talk • contribs • count) 01:29, 12 October 2010 (UTC)
- Good idea - that should help sort things out a bit more :) Grutness...wha? 09:51, 12 October 2010 (UTC)

Please don't revert
Hi, Yesterday, I had cleared the redirect of Ayaş, Mersin to Ayas, Adana. I see that you have reverted my edit immidiatelly. Can you please explain why ? The names may be similar. But these two are different towns, roughly 100 kilometres (62 mi) apart. Now I am going to clear out the redirect. Please don't revert it. Happy editting. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 12:58, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
- Please don't blank redirects. If you disagree with them and would like them deleted, please see WP:RFD. — Train2104 (talk • contribs • count) 16:21, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
Curious
Category:Templates_deprecated_from_June_2010 should have already had a speedy template on it when you nominated it - Can you remember if it was visible or did you go straight into edit mode?. Incidentally these types of categories (Monthly clean up categories ) will not only auto-nominate themselves but de-nominate themselves if they become non-empty (subject to category lag of course). Rich Farmbrough, 16:04, 13 October 2010 (UTC).
- There was a speedy tag on it (C1 zero day). They really should be using G6 tags, though. — Train2104 (talk • contribs • count) 16:20, 13 October 2010 (UTC)
- OK that's a valid, if minor, point. I'll take care of it. Rich Farmbrough, 22:30, 13 October 2010 (UTC).

NYC Subway System
So why am I allowed to keep the UK-based maps? If you look closely, some of them contain "fantasy" ideas . . . . The London UnderGround line "CH" does no even exist!!! So why not let me keep the NYC lines until they are finished? Dkpintar (talk) 11:59, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
- I'm not familiar with the UK system so I didn't recognize the fantasy ideas, but if they do contain them, I will nominate them (when this one expires). — Train2104 (talk • contribs • count) 18:56, 16 October 2010 (UTC)

I declined speedy deletion of this user page because I couldn't find evidence that this user was ever blocked before August 27, 2010, and this page was created before then. If you have evidence to support the idea that this page qualifies for speedy deletion as {{db-banned}}, please feel free to request speedy deletion again with that evidence being provided. Thanks. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 02:54, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
Universal Credit
I have removed the {{prod}} tag from Universal Credit, which you proposed for deletion. I'm leaving this message here to notify you about it. If you still think the article should be deleted, please don't add the {{prod}} template back to the article. Instead, feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! Hi - just a friendly note: please be careful when moving pages that have might have bots that run on them. This move broke the bot that was helping to keep that page clean. Thanks. 7 12:20, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi Train2104. Thank you for your work on patrolling pages and tagging for speedy deletion. I just wanted to inform you that I declined to delete TXE, a page that you tagged for speedy deletion under criterion G7 because of the following concern: User:Deben Dave was not the sole author. Please review the criteria for speedy deletion and especially what is considered non-criteria. In future you should rather tag such pages for proposed deletion or start an appropriate deletion discussion. Regards Jujutacular talk 01:34, 28 October 2010 (UTC)

SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!

Your request for an editor review
Hi there Train2104!. I've noticed that you've requested an editor review, located here. While it is not required, users that request a review are strongly encouraged to review other users, as this greatly helps with the backlog of requests there. Think of it as a mutual effort, you review someone and someone will review you. So if it's not too much to ask, please consider reviewing someone (the person before you would be fine - if he's already been reviewed, just look for someone that hasn't). I understand that you may not feel qualified or know how to review someone, so there are instructions in the Instructions for reviewers tab at the top of the page. As always, feel free to message me if you have any questions. Netalarmtalk 06:30, 14 November 2010 (UTC)

Thanks I was going to do that myself but you beat me too it. The creation of this article was done with AWB and I wanted to show it to them and was letting the debate play out a little more. No problem though. --Kumioko (talk) 19:57, 16 November 2010 (UTC)
This is an entirely assinine idea. Why should you make redirects to disambiguation pages which are disambiguated in the first place? Shit like this would (or at least should) be deleted at RFD.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 21:07, 17 November 2010 (UTC)

All Pages Deleted?! Why???
Hi Train 2104 - I was working on a new page for Trainer's Choice yesterday, and I see that it has been deleted. I had just started the page and it was definitely not complete, but now it's already gone! On top of that, all of my other previously created Wiki pages were deleted as well :(
I've worked very diligently with other Wikipedia admins to ensure the content of my pages is consistent with Wikipedia guidelines, and now all that work has been deleted...I work for a variety of companies who want to utilize Wikipedia to give content about their company, and NOT USE IT AS A MARKETING RESOURCE. I've worked with the admin to make sure this is the case, but now everything has been deleted.
The following pages were deleted from my account: ~ Trainer's Choice ~ Indital ~ Rhino Rack
How can I get them back and ensure that the pages are not deleted?
Thanks, JoeJmlnarik01 (talk) 20:24, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
- I was not the one who deleted your pages. I mistakenly tagged your talk page for deletion because the redirect hid all the messages, it has not been deleted and I undid the tagging. Looking at your edit history, it appears that E. Fokker (talk · contribs) was the user who tagged your pages for deletion. Thus, you should ask him/her. — Train2104 (talk • contribs • count) 20:29, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

Hi Train2104. Thank you for your work on patrolling pages and tagging for speedy deletion. I just wanted to inform you that I declined to delete User_talk:70.119.9.145, a page that you tagged for speedy deletion under criterion G7 because of the following concern: userspace page's are exempt from CSG G7 Please review the criteria for speedy deletion and especially what is considered non-criteria. The "United States Food Administration" (which became the American Relief Administration) should really not be confused with the "Food and Drug Administration"! After a little work input in the article "United States Food Administration" I changed the "redirect" once more. I hope you are convinced this time.----77.7.59.159 (talk) 18:26, 21 November 2010 (UTC)

There are two things you might want to think about before tagging that again. First, I am an OTRS volunteer engaged in dealing with emails from upset and angry people; second, Wikipedia:Village pump (technical)#Deletion logs. Please don't tag it again. Guy (Help!) 19:15, 28 November 2010 (UTC)
Altered speedy deletion rationale: Redirects on wikipedia
Hello Train2104. I am just letting you know that I deleted Redirects on wikipedia, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, under a different criterion from the one you provided, which doesn't fit the page in question. Thank you. PhantomSteve/talk|contribs\ 01:28, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

Typos
I'm not an expert on regular expressions, but it looks to me like this would change buses to busses, though the former is correct. Could you confirm this is right please. — Tivedshambo (t/c) 15:26, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
- No, it does the opposite: $1 stands for the case of the first "b", while $2 stands for the ending (ed, es, ing). I tried it in AWB RegEx tester and it works. — Train2104 (talk • contribs • count) 15:30, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
