Adam mugliston (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! Currently, I do a lot of creation content, however I also do some vandalism patrol, welcoming new users and other bits and bobs. I'm interested in public transport, music, languages and cats. If you would to join my adoption school, you can write to me on my talk page.  Adam Mugliston  Talk  11:43, 12 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Andrew J Powers (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! Hi there! I am a New User welcomer and a recent changes patroller. I mainly specialize in user pages but I can do a whole lot more. If you have any questions or concerns, you can contact me on my talk page. :) -- Andrew J Powers (talk) 23:40, 1 May 2011 (UTC) [reply]
Bernstein2291 (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! I mainly do minor edits and sometimes I create pages. I am a member of many Wikiprojects, but I am most active on WP:MILHIST I am on Wikipedia every day.
Buggie111 (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! I edit mainly topics related to military history and Russia, but also enjoy branching out into stuff like hurricanes and video games. I also like to fight vandalism, but I don't do it that much. I am fluent in English, Russian and Spanish, I am learning Mandarin Pinyin and German, so don't be hesitant leave a message in those languages. Leave a message on my talk page if you are interested, though I might not get to it for a day or two...
Catalan (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! I am an on and off editor that focuses on writing on specific articles, with the intention of improving them as much as possible (as opposed to a "behind-the-curtains" editor who may focus on maintenance and copyediting). I write on a wide variety of topics, although I focus on military history and economics-related topics. I am willing to adopt users interested in article construction, guiding them through the process of article improvement.
Charlesdrakew (talk · contribs) Now adopting! I have a wide range of interests including the history and geogaphy of south east England, anything on the front page that needs fixing, vandal fighting and issuing warnings for vandalism. I have written a number of new articles which have featured in the "Did you know?" section of the front page. I am always pleased to help other editors when I can or point them to someone with more specialised knowledge. Yes I work in British English for the most part. Around several times most days. Talk to me here
Chris the Paleontologist (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! I have varied interests in Wikipedia. I spend some time here creating new paleontology-related articles for the "Did you know?" section of the main page. I also patrol new pages and participate in deletion discussions. I'm around often for help, and am willing to adopt anyone who wants to learn about writing articles, deletion discussions, and more. I'm usually around every day, so feel free to drop me a message.
Chriswaterguy (talk · contribs) Now adopting! I've done a lot of work on the appropriate technology articles and categories. I work more on a separate wiki these days (Appropedia) but still pay attention to design, sustainability and international development topics here. Happy to help people, but since I'm not as active as other editors here, it's best if I just "adopt" someone working in the same kinds of areas. I'm here several times per week, usually. Leave a message.
Climie.ca (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! I am primarily involved in the Military History Project (my area of expertise). I also involve myself in peer review, assessment drives, project logistics, and the like. I am on wikipedia at least once every day (provided I'm not on Vacation or anything). I've been editing wikipedia under this username since March . I'm editing my main article worklist almost every day, so I'm almost always available for support & queries.
Crisco 1492 (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! I am active with the welcoming committee, Did You Know?, Articles for Deletion, and requests for feedback. I mainly focus on Indonesia-related topics, but I will gladly help clean up an article for DYK. I love helping people so don't hesitate to talk to me. Contact me at my talk page. I am willing to be contacted in English and Indonesian; you can contact me in French too, but I will reply in English. I am at UTC+7, so I will most likely be unavailable between UTC 13:00 and UTC 20:00.
Curtis23 (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! I like to talk in discussions and edit articles (especially wrestling and tropical cyclones) almost everyday. I love to help people so don't hesistate to talk to me. My talk page is here. I already have 3 adoptees but since I love to help I'll take as many as I can.
Cyclonenim (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! I'm a regular participator in WikiProject Medicine and other science articles. Primarily, I am an editor, but I also enjoy vandal fighting and helping out with Criteria for Speedy Deletion, Articles for Deletion and Requests for Adminship. I've been editing regularly since December 2007 and have been a member since June 2006. I'm on pretty much every day except for when I'm on holiday, so feel free to drop me a line. I won't bite. Much. :) Adopted Pozilla (talk · contribs) and Ships at a Distance (talk · contribs) but willing to adopt more.
DeltaQuad (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! I have an interest in editing articles regarding computers, military history (1800s onwards), and Star Trek. I have had my share of experience in multiple projects including Articles for creation, Abuse response, Sockpuppet investigations, Vandalism Patrol including Huggle, and more. My adoption program is aimed towards the procedural side of understanding Wikipedia. I am able to respond usually in 32 hours, 48-72 on rare occasions. -- DQ (ʞlɐʇ) 23:47, 3 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Dylanfromthenorth (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! I'm a pretty experienced user, with over 2700 edits. I operate in Afd quite a bit so I'm familiar with a broad range of notability guidelines and other inclusion policies. I'm not an admin, but do revert a lot of vandalism and close Afds as non-admin closures now and again, and have reviewer rights. If you'd like me to adopt you, leave a message on my talk page.
Feedback (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! Hey, I am Feedback! I am a member of various WikiProjects, but mostly participate in the Professional Wrestling WikiProject, as it's my favorite hobby. I'm more of an Organizer and Editor than a vandal-fighter. Well, if you want to be my adoptee, or just need some help: Check my Talk Page! I probably check my watchlist every day, but Wikipedia isn't a substitute for HAVING A LIFE. And yeah, I actually have one, believe it or not. Lots of people act all high and mighty because they're editing on Wikipedia, but don't let them rub you the wrong way. Don't worry about it, just laugh at the idea that they think they're so cool when all they're doing is editing a public encyclopedia. This is a hobby, its fun to do, you don't need to give up your life for it. Even if you just want to edit on occasion, it will still be a fun experience for you. And I'd love to be a part of it so Cheers and Welcome to Wikipedia!
Feedintm (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! I am usually reverting vandalism with Twinkle, patrolling new pages or welcoming new users, but I also create articles, mainly related to hockey. I also work in Wikipedia:Articles for Creation. I'm usually on Wikipedia, so feel free to ask any questions on my talk page
Gaia Octavia Agrippa (talk · contribs · count) Now Adopting! I work mostly on WP:MILHIST (military history) and WP:BIO (biographies). I also copy edit and wikify articles. Can provide help with the basics. * I am a graduate of Adopt-a-User myself so i know what an adoptee wants
  • I can help any new user become more skilled at editing even if they have no interest in the military, history, or people
  • I'm on wikipedia most days

Major theme-park and Disney fan, so you'll find me in articles related to theme parks, roller coasters, and such. Also dabble in video game articles. Will work in just about any article if I find some noteworthy information to add that isn't already there ... provided it's cited, of course. I do have another adoptee, but that user appears to have been inactive for some time. On the US east coast, I log in pretty frequently, many times a day. I try and respond to questions and comments as soon as I see them, so you won't have to wait long till you hear from me.
User-multi error: "Mgreason" is not a valid project or language code (help). Now adopting! I've been editing for almost five years and have started over 200 articles and expanded 150+. I have an academic background in English writing and history. My primary topic-interests in editing include history related articles (especially Chinese history and American policies and wars) and disability articles. I would love to take someone under my wing and guide them to contribute in historical subjects and collaborate; even if you aren't very familiar with English, I'd be glad to proofread and revise your work as you improve. Please contact me on my talk page, and we can begin collaborating. I'm willing to work with anyone interested in contributing to history or disability articles; ESL adoptees okay! Most likely I'll be unable to tutor more than two adoptees at a time.

I have a large involvement with getting new articles which are inappropriate speedily deleted, and I'm reasonably skilled at a number of Wikipedia processes, including, but not necessarily limited to: template coding and wikitext, article cleanup and vandalism reversion, images and copyright, and other general Wikipedia know-how. If those are things you'd like to learn about (and don't worry, they aren't scary), I'm your man. If there's something else, just ask! Leave a note on my user page, and I'll help you as soon as I see it - almost always within 12 hours unless noted, and within 5 minutes if I'm already online. Willing to adopt a second user at any time if asked nicely. :) (Two at a time)

A lot of my activity includes, but is not confined to, wikifying (making articles look good, like style fixes and adding relevant links), speedy deletion (tagging newer articles that obviously don't belong on Wikipedia), Articles for creation, and sports articles (especially college football). Although I can't offer any extended atoptions right now, I am available if you have any questions about Wikipedia. You can talk to me here, and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Cheers!

I've done a lot of work elsewhere on copy editing and final edits of articles on other projects, including working with one of my adoptees on an article undergoing GA review (about 95% there). I'm willing to help out wherever I can and help out anyone who asks.

Sloggerbum (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! Heya. I'm a pure content editor (not typically big in the social aspect of Wiki, or "police-work"), so if you'd like help learning to post a proper new page, or properly clean up a page you're interested in, I'd be more than happy to help out. After doing my own thing for a couple years, I'm feeling the urge to be more social. :) I have a lot of experience on biographies and band/album pages, if that's your current fascination, but I'm just as interested in other topics. I'm on every day, so I should be able to chat with you promptly. Cheers! Sloggerbum (talk) 05:24, 31 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Smartse (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! I work in quite a few different areas. My main content expertise is in plant biology, but I dabble in pretty much anything I happen to find interesting at the time. I also help to deal with editors who have a conflict of interest with the areas that they edit in and help to clean up the work of spammers so if you're interested in these areas I may be able to help. I also review articles to make sure they are suitable to be included in the Did you know? section of the main page. Just leave a comment at User talk:Smartse and I'll get back to you. Smartse (talk)
SoWhy (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! Most speedy deletion, admin noticeboards, discussions and suchlike. Let's call it WikiGnoming. I also try to improve and write articles ;-) I offer mentorship, without any lessons. I will not create classes for you to finish or tasks to complete. But I will provide an address for all questions that you need answered and point you to the right places.
SriMesh (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! Have created articles, wikiprojects, wikinewsletters, wikiportals, templates, and user boxes. Also work on categorizing articles, adding wikiproject banners to talk pages, assessing articles, and welcoming new members. Work mainly on Saskatchewan or Canadian related articles, however have helped out with requested articles and requested portals as well. Interested in adopting new users who also have a vested interest in Saskatchewan, or SK related articles, but will consider others, including those who want to start a WikiPortal and/or who want to start a WikiProject to improve coverage of a topic. Contact me on my talk page.

I've got a complete adoption school, which in the past has worked well. I'm only prepared to adopt people who really want to learn, though, so no time wasters, please :-). Quite busy in real life, so poke me on my talk page first.
Sumsum2010 (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! I've been on Wikipedia for close to a year and a half. I spend much of my editing time at WikiProject Wikify where I am the executive coordinator, Wikiproject Airports, and New Page Patrol in conjunction with Articles for Deletion. I'm willing to adopt pretty much anyone who wants to be adopted by me. If you're interested leave a message on my talkpage.

Trusilver (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! Although I spend some time working on articles and maintaining the League of Copyeditors, which I founded, the majority of my time is spent doing recent change patrolling and working with WP:AIV. I'm online haphazardly from 6am to 11pm Pacific Standard Time. There is rarely a day that I don't come on at least for an hour or so, and typically I am on for 3-4 hours a day. I am willing to adopt up to two new users, both spots are currently open.
Useight (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! I'm a member of WikiProjects Nintendo and National Football League. I work at UAA, AIV, and speedy deletions. Also do lots of Wikignoming. I am an admin and bureaucrat. I'm not as active as I formerly was, but I still edit Wikipedia every day, so I'll always be available to answer your questions. Plus I'm the only adopter with a username starting with U. Feel free to contact me on my talk page.
Ute in DC (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! I am a member of the College Football project and know where to find a good many reliable sources to help establish the notability of your college football related Wikipedia article. I also frequently revert vandalism because I find it relaxing and therapeutic. I tend to be on Wikipedia during the afternoon and into the evening in Mountain Time. You can find my talk page here to request I adopt you.
Vibhijain (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! I am an experienced user and mainly fight vandalism. I have a good knowledge of policies and can help with things like MOS:, WP:BLP, WP:NPV. I like to work with newbies and help them. My talk page is always open to users whom are seeking adoption. Please remember to tell which type of articles you would like to work on.
Weebiloobil (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! I'm into reviewing mostly (especially GAs), helping out at WP:WHO, but my editing usually covers most things a Wikipedian needs. My interests on Wikipedia lie in film and television, as well as society and culture My friends tend to call me mad, but don't listen to them!
Wehwalt (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! I'm a longtime member and admin here. I'm principally a writer, and I do not think that anyone with more Featured Articles than me is participating here (presently 46) principally in politics and history, though with a fair number of coin articles as well. I have a fair number of talk page stalkers who are always helping each other out, so you'd join a bit of a group. If you're an aspiring writer who wants the inside track on having people available to review your work, well, here's your place. I'm on a lot. Just come to my talk page and make your presence known and we'll engage!
Wisdom89 (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! I am a highly active user who concentrates on the improvement, monitoring, and maintenance of music and science related articles. But feel free to leave me a message on my talk page.
WLU (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! I'm a wikigrazer, lately doing citation templates and vandalism reverts. I've been involved in arbitration and mediation. I'm sometimes guilty of biting and this is my penance. Interests are pretty broad and I'm a good copyeditor. I am very happy to help to the limits of my knowledge. I check my watchlist several times per day, though my actual time on wikipedia varies considerably depending on the day. Various casual adoptees, willing to take more
Worm That Turned (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! I like to consider myself a gnome, but I've been getting more involved in actually building articles and getting involved. I've got a good knowledge of policy and an unfortunate habit of seeing the other person's point of view. Article-wise, I enjoy working in food articles, geography ones too. I particularly enjoy expanding articles, rather than copy editing downwards. Well done for finding me, hidden right down at the bottom! I'm online regularly during UK office hours, and willing to answer any questions promptly.
sillybillypiggy (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! Hi, I usually patrol new pages and welcome new users. My interests are literature and transport I am usually on weekdays from 16:00-18:00GMT, as I am busy in real life. sillybillypiggy¡SIGN NOW OR ELSE! 17:33, 9 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yunshui (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! I've been active in many areas of Wikipedia, taking on whatever fits my interest at the time: article creation, anti-vandalism, article tagging, copy-editing, dispute resolution and others. I'm an administrator and a dreadful pedant, so expect a lot of policy enforcement. I'm usually around weekdays from 08:00-15:00GMT and most evenings, but I'm generally pretty inactive at weekends.

Brambleberry of RiverClan (talk · contribs · count) Now adopting! My main content interests are animals, mythology, and dog breeds. On Wikipedia I mainly do article writing, but I'm also a sufficient expander and competent revisor. I don't know a thing about coding, though. All my codes come from things already there. Drop me a note on my talk page if you wish to be adopted, and I'll set up your classroom, giving you a link.

I try not to get into arguments, but i can try to help you if you got yourself into one. Cielomobile (talk · contribs · count) Unavailable My interests in Wikipedia vary, from recent changes patrol to deletion debates. In terms of specific subject interests, I edit articles in the general spheres of philosophy, theatre, music and politics, but I stray into other areas too. I've been sporadically editing Wikipedia since early 2006 (under this account and IPs) and actively editing Wikipedia since about October 2006.
Cindamuse (talk · contribs · count) Unavailable I am a member of the Guild of Copy Editors and spend much of my time welcoming new members, reviewing new articles, editing subpar articles, and participating in deletion discussions. My motivation on Wikipedia focuses on quality, rather than quantity. My areas of expertise center around fine tuning and enhancing biographies, and articles about music and corporations. I am an Online Ambassador currently working with five students and find myself unable to assist additional editors in an adoption capacity at this time. That said, if you have pressing questions regarding a specific issue that you are working on, please feel free to contact me. Please contact me if you need assistance with:

  • images
  • policies

dgies (talk · contribs · count) Unavailable I've done a lot of vandal-fighting, and I'm pretty experienced in technical matters, so if you need to know how to do something, I probably know or can find out. Best way to get help is by leaving a message on my talk page. Full for now.

Busy with other projects ATM.
E. Ripley (talk · contribs · count) Unavailable I've been an editor since 2006; I understand policies and how they're applied. They can be a minefield for people who aren't familiar with how the place works, and I'm interested in helping any and all who could use some attention. Fetchcomms (talk · contribs · count) Unavailable Have had experience fighting vandalism and new page patrolling, also some content creation and development. ItsZippy (talk · contribs · count) Unavailable I have been on Wikipedia a few months now and, during my time here, have learned a lot about what it means to be a Wikipedia. I had to quickly learn about Wikipedia policy, how to create good articles, how to discuss issues with other editors and much more. I had help from numerous users at the beginning and would love to help newer users in their first few steps and edits at Wikipedia. I'm always open to questions and will help out in any area of editing or participation that people need help with. I'm currently available to adopt users. I tend to be active in the daytime/evenings GMT. If you would like to be adopted, please leave a message on my talk page.

I am in the Eastern Time Zone, and online just about every day. Not available much currently due to time constraints, but feel free to drop me a line.
KillerChihuahua (talk · contribs · count) Unavailable My interests are wide and varied. I have been on Wikipedia for several years, and been an administrator since 14 January 2006. I have over 21,000 edits across namespaces, so I have some experience here. No question is too simple, no question is too trivial - better that you ask than not know, yes? Leave a note on my talk page. Not accepting new adoptees at this time, but always open for questions.

SMcCandlish (talk · contribs · count) Unavailable I'm heavily involved in WikiProject Cue sports, WikiProject Inline Templates and several other projects, and am a hard-core WikiGnome, doing cleanup of all sorts in various articles. I spend a lot of time helping develop the Wikipedia Manual of Style, and historically also worked heavily on our Notability Guideline and other policy areas. Principally interested in adopting new users who are especially interested in working on billiards/pool/snooker articles, but will consider others, including those who mostly want to work on "quality control" and/or who want to start a WikiProject to improve coverage of a topic. Currently focusing on mentoring through the Online Ambassadors program.
The Earwig (talk · contribs · count) Unavailable I love to create new articles on topics that haven't been covered, such as certain arthropods and insects, especially earwigs. 1234r00t (talk · contribs · count) Inactive I'm an experienced editor who would love to see a lot of people rise up who will become successful well meaning editors.
