Draft Te Papa Specimen Template[edit]

This draft outlines how Te Papa intends to add metadata to specimen images loaded to Wikimedia Commons. When descriptive and structured data fields have been confirmed, it will be turned into a reusable template. This version focuses on supporting the loading of Myosotis specimen images.

Notes[edit]

  • IRNs are Te Papa’s internal record numbers for each catalogue record, piece of media, and other entities like taxonomical terms and people.
  • This builds on the Biohist template by Naturalis.
