ERA NATARASAN[edit]

hi... External search engines like Google and Bing generally give very low rankings to Wikipedia editors' personal userpages, on the grounds that it's extremely unlikely to be what the searcher is looking for. Regarding our own search feature, unless one specifically changes the options (click on the magnifying glass) to include other areas, it only searches Wikipedia articles rather than userpages, for the same reason. Wikipedia isn't a webhost, and writing autobiographies is very strongly discouraged; if you do intend to create an article about yourself it needs to be sourced entirely to neutral reliable sources independent of the subject (books and newspapers which discuss you, rather than things written by you or by your publishers), as Wikipedia only covers material which can be sourced from elsewhere. ‑ Iridescent 10:15, 12 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
