12 Monkeys plot question[edit]

{{spoiler}} I watched the movie, then read the Wikipedia article, and I still slightly confused. I understand that the whole thing is a time paradox, but the ending is seemingly cryptic to me. I recognized the scientist (the DVD said astrophysicist) on the plane talking to the redheaded lab assistant. The intention was to leave the whole "will the world be saved" open-ended. Just watch his other movies (Time Bandits and Brazil both have open endings). The film was initially supposed to be: Is he insane or is he really a time traveller? In production, it became too hard to allow both to possibly be true. So, he left it with him being a time traveller. I would have liked it more if there was no hard-proof of his time travelling so we could still view the movie from two sides. In one he is a time traveller mistaken as insane. In another, he is an insane man who believes he is a time traveller. Consensus is that the scientist on the plane, who says “I’m in insurance”, travelled back in time as insurance, i.e. to carry out Bruce Willis’s mission of obtaining a sample of the virus in case he failed. See this discussion board thread. --Mathew5000 18:35, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Charmed season 8 DVD release date[edit]

I've searched wikipedia about the charmed season 8 DVD release date in UK and i found that it will come out on April 30th.I'd like to ask if this will contain extras.If not can you tell me when the DVD with extras will come out in UK?Thank you.

80s sitcom[edit]

Ok, I am looking for the title (and/or article) about a tv sitcom in the 80s - i think it was syndicated. It was about a girl growing up in this modern house whose Dad was an alien and talks to her through a weird cube in her bedroom. She has "powers" but they're kind of lame, mostly involving her being able to stop time. I watched this show ALL the time when i was little but I don't remember anything about it except the concept, and the theme song was "Swingin' on a Star." Target ad theme[edit]

From an OTRS request:

I attempted to contact Justen, the person who contributed to a site about Mr. Ulrich, the CEO of Target stores. I found all this info during my search for a song played on a new Target commercial. My main goal: to find the song in the commercial, so hopefully you can help...

need to know: song title and artist company: Target ad campaign: "Less" (makeup commercial)

All the Target ads I've seen have been named after the song (ie: the Hello/Goodbye ad). I haven't seen the ad in question, but I would assume it is Ben Harper's "Less" since that is th ename of th ecommercial. Note: Target normally uses cover versions of the songs, not the real one. Grey's Anatomy DVD S1: US 9 episodes? UK 13 episodes?[edit]

I have the US S1 boxset of Grey's Anatomy and it has 2 discs with 9 episodes but the UK one 3 discs and 13 (?) episodes. Does anyone know why this is? The running time for both boxsets is approx 370 mins so I don't think I'm "missing out" on anything...but I'm not sure.
