I'd love to help test this feature out. I have rollback privileges, but tend to use Twinkle more since it allows for adding an edit reason. I've had 3000+ edits over the past 4 years, with extremely few of those being reverted —Mrand TalkC 03:57, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

User:Dwayne

Hi there, i am requesting for reviewer rights because i think i wouldn't have an issue with looking over edits IP Addresses made to articles (making sure it's not vandalism). I already know Wikipedia's vandalism policy. I've had rollback rights already which were revoked because i was forum shopping in IRC, this happened back in April. One of the admins had told me that they lost trust in me so they decided to revoke my rights. I hope the community had forgiven me for what i had done wrong, although i had no idea forum shopping was against Wikipedia's Policies. Before this case i had rollback rights again, but they were revoked because i didn't understand Wikipedia's Vandalism Policy. But i least i do now. So i think i would be an outstanding reviewer, feel free to speak with another admin about this before granting me reviewer. If the answer is No, i will not complain and ask other admins for their opinion's like i used to. I will just continue as an regular editor like i have for the past 2-3 months. Thanks, Dwayne was here! 18:41, 16 July 2010 (UTC)

I'm an occasional contributor mostly doing quick fixes on articles. I do not actively patrol for vandalism, but I do try to make sure that articles are fair, notable, verifiable, and correctly spelled. And I try to stay out of controversy when I can. I'd like to have the Reviewer permission to aid in the quick approval of constructive edits by others.
Quick facts: 121 edits, first edit 31 Oct 2008, no warnings or blocks
I affirm that I have read the applicable guidelines (V/BLP/NPOV/NOR/NOT & reviewing). Shouran (talk) 01:31, 17 July 2010 (UTC)

I have edited Wikipedia for several years now (some of it under a previous account), particularly to expand articles related to higher education in the United States and sports. Also, the vectorization of raster images has interested me as of recently. I have read the policies on vandalism, Biographies of living persons, No original research, NPOV, and I understand what Wikipedia is not. Upon reading the sets of guidelines on reviewing I think becoming a reviewer will be a good way to make myself more useful. Thank you. Marco Guzman, Jr (talk) 04:46, 18 July 2010 (UTC)

I have been an editor on Wikipedia since 2007. Over the three years, I have been watching over several articles for vandalism, unsourced statements, writing styles, and biased statements—especially in biographical articles. As a result, such practice has made me adept in following these policies when creating articles myself. I believe becoming a reviewer will improve my efficiency in keeping articles clean, encyclopedic, and academic. EelamStyleZ Discuss 02:53, 20 July 2010 (UTC)

Confirming for the record as a (relatively) uninvolved but aware outsider, the struck-out article actually showed the editor undertaking a well-informed approach to writing a difficult BLP, that was IAR deleted not through "fault". His conduct in this episode, and particularly his demonstration of self restraint/understanding at deletion and ANI (more than many would have shown), suggests if anything the presence of a decent level of care and awareness, and suggests he may well be suitable for this tool - if not now then once his editing record is a bit lengthier if that's an issue. Hi there :) I'd like to be a reviewer quite simply because I believe in what Wikipedia does. In fact I was quite surprised when I first started editing how seriously the majority of users take this. Instead of finding lots of obvious vandalism and people trying to push a specific viewpoint, I found a lot of people just trying to make a great encyclopedia. I'm happy that I've been able to contribute at least a little bit to that cause and I think that being a reviewer will give me the chance to do even more good work. Reviewing as described seems a minor extension of my present activities on Wikipedia. I spend quite a lot of time checking / proofreading contributions in detail and I don't think I often mis-identify vandalism. Richard Keatinge (talk) 08:46, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

User:UncleBubba

I think the Pending Changes system is a great idea--without it, fighting vandalism and thoughtless destruction will continue to grow more difficult. I regularly clean up vandalism (when my crazy work schedule permits) and already have the Rollbacker priv. I would love to try out the Reviewer role. I try to be cautious and conciliatory in my editing, so I think granting my request is a pretty safe bet. Please let me know if you agree or not. Thank you! — UncleBubba T @ C ) 09:50, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

User:Jay-Sebastos

I patrol both new pages and recent changes regularly and am often coming across the new pending revisions which I would like to be part of reviewing. I think the idea is a very sensible one since so many edits come from IPs which are constructive, and because some people don't like to create accounts, often these IPs end up not being able to positively edit a page which is semi-protected. This new system seems to get around this problem and I imagine also tends to prevent vandalised results coming through in search engines such as Google. Jay-Sebastos (talk) 23:33, 4 August 2010 (UTC)

I usually revert vandalism with Igloo and Twinkle more than I write on articles. (I intend to write an article as soon as I can find a subject notable enough.) I wish to become a reviewer because it would help me out a lot more with fighting those silly vandals. :) (I'm already a rollbacker.) Thanks no matter what! Mithrandir (Talk!)
