Jaghin District (Persian: بخش جغین) is in Rudan County, Hormozgan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Balashahr.[3]
History
[edit]In September 2017, the village of Balashahr was elevated to the status of a city.[4]
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 11,254 in 2,329 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 15,318 people in 3,794 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 14,468 inhabitants in 4,010 households.[2]
