Mungerville is an unincorporated community in Dawson County, Texas, United States.[1] According to the Handbook of Texas, the community had an estimated population of 25 in 2000.
History
[edit]Mungerville had 70 residents served by two businesses in 1947. It was not included on the 1984 county highway map. Its population was 25 in 2000.[2]
Geography
[edit]Mungerville is located on Farm to Market Road 829, 13 mi (21 km) northwest of Lamesa in west-central Dawson County.[2]
Education
[edit]Mungerville had its own school in 1947.[2] Today, Mungerville is served by the Klondike Independent School District.
