F1/F10 ? One part of the article mentions hitting F10 to bring up the "boss screen," but another says "hit F1 again...". These are not the same keys, so either one is wrong and should be the other, or the "again" should be removed. Anyone with information on this, please make the change. --Nichenbach 16:26, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The first?[edit]

The article isn't very clear, but was leisure suit Larry 2 (1988) the first professionally made game with a boss key? (Space quest was released in 1989 according to the respective article). the screen shot says it's "leisure suit Larry" (no number), is it, or is this LS2 and this is a mistake? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.26.228.186 (talk) 02:53, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Absolutely not -- I recall Friendlyware having a boss key in 1982. I haven't checked this article for accuracy in a while, but will soon. //Blaxthos ( t / c ) 03:15, 9 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

MSN[edit]

Isn't the boss key something similar to the keyboard shortcut for hiding MSN and making it into a icon on the taskbar? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.86.56.42 (talk) 19:36, 23 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unnecessary parenthetical statement "discounting the Internet part, which was not yet available"[edit]

Concerning the following excerpt from section "In computer games":

>doing their job when they are actually playing games or using the Internet for non work-related tasks. It was a fairly common feature in early computer games for personal computers (discounting the Internet part, which was not yet available),

(emphasis mine)

"It was a fairly common feature in early computer games" doesn't refer to the Internet at all, so the parenthetical statement is unnecessary. I'll be removing it shortly. Mattman00000 (talk) 16:12, 28 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
