This page should not be speedy deleted because the Brazilian Jazz Quartet is a Treasure for the Brazilian Culture in terms of musical patrimony. It`s originated the Zimbo Trio, the most important instrumental band for the MPB: Brazilian popular music, Bossa Nova and Samba Jazz. Delete this page would be the same as stole cultural information from the Brazilian people.. --Brootr (talk) 06:41, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

How can you call it an "obscure" band in the first sentence of the article, yet claim that it is also significant? Inks.LWC (talk) 06:43, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Obscure means they used to play underground in many bars in São Paulo downtown like Charlie Park and many jazz musicians from Bebop did in the past. Untill they record the Album "Coffee and Jazz" (1958) they were known by many people who loves the boemian way of life and the nightlife. Moreover many musicians traveled from many states just to see the virtuoses play. After the álbum was released the public expanded and they were known worldwide. Casé were a legendary saxophonist referenced by many american jazz musician and bossa nova musicians. Coffee and Jazz was the unique register from this band that contributed for the american and brazilian music in the 50s. After this album Luis Chaves and Rubinho joined Amilton Godoy to found Zimbo Trio the most important instrumental band over 50 years and they are still in activit, just Luis Chaves died in 2007. Rubinho and Amilton are around 80 years and still contibuting for the good brazilian and jazz music. Obscure is an expression to mean Underground. If the word "Obscure" misunderstand I can change for Underground. --Brootr (talk) 15:05, 6 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
