References

[edit]

Is the link to Sky News (and the scant "she crossed her heart") a good reference? --62.152.162.4 07:08, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think that it isn't, and I shall add a new reference. =) Panzer V Panther 14:08, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Why is Sky News not a good reference? I have restored it (in addition to the one that replaced it) as the new reference is very old, and doesn't mention that Hotel Chevalier contains her first nude scene. -- JediLofty User ¦ Talk 08:55, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for not completely deleting the reference; it took me a while figure how to do that. =/ Anyway, I have no problem with them both being up there. =) Panzer V Panther 16:55, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This seems to be a US only free film clip on iTunes. You need to have a valid US iTunes account to download it. Too bad, I would have loved to see it myself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.182.168.59 (talk) 11:02, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Promotion Scheme

[edit]

This section was interesting to read, and while I agree that it could be possibly true, there seems to be no source for it. Also, it sounds slightly biased. There should be a source added for it, or maybe it should be condensed a bit... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.80.185.220 (talk) 05:22, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Responds Coldly" ?

[edit]

i changed this, as "I promise I will never be your friend, no matter what, ever." is not a cold response, but a passionate one--Mongreilf (talk) 20:13, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Plot summary

[edit]

The plot summary in this article is way too long, especially since the film is only 13 minutes. I saw it once and I don't remember it being that complex, so I think a paragraph (or maybe two short ones) should be enough. I don't remember the film well enough to rewrite it, but there are much longer feature films that have shorter plot summaries. –Dream out loud (talk) 18:42, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This is a featured article, judged to be of a professional standard of composition. The synopsis of the film (not "plot summary") is by no means overwhelming of the remainder of the text, and is well within conventions for high quality film articles. I'm sorry but, "I saw it once and I don't remember it being that complex, so" is not an adequate rationale. Skomorokh 18:58, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see how a "plot summary" is different than a synopsis (unless its a non-fictional film). According to WP:FILMPLOT, "Plot summaries for feature films should be between 400 and 700 words" and the "synopsis" here is 580 words. That is way too long. Of course there should be an explanation of the film's plot, but there is just way too much detail here. This film his almost half the length of a TV episode in a 1/2 time block. There's no need to explain every single thing that happens in the film. Just because it is a featured article doesn't mean its perfect and needs no change. Policies and standards change over time and I have seen plenty of featured articles that aren't "perfect" and some that get delisted. Of course this is by no means a poorly writte n FA, but its plot summary (aka "synopsis") just needs to be trimmed down. –Dream out loud (talk) 05:05, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Super Detailed Plot

[edit]

Is it necessary to describe every little detail - is this for people who can't be bothered to watch it? Usually a summary is just that, this is practically a transcript - without dialogue. 174.91.4.181 (talk) 14:35, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Does this really belong in WikiProject Hotels?

[edit]

I'm looking around at quality of hotel articles, as I plan to write/improve quite a few, and noting that this was shot in the Hôtel Raphaël in Paris, and is not a real hotel, does this article belong in the Hotels Wikiproject??Skookum1 (talk) 05:25, 7 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This article is a part of WikiProject Hotels because it does not have to be a hotel.Tomandjerry211 (talk) 23:37, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
