Capture of Malolos[edit]

Created/expanded by Arius1998 (talk). Self nom at 12:14, 7 September 2012 (UTC)

Created today. Length 1846 charcaters, jsut over the minimum of 1500.
However, I have a question about sourcing. The articles is heavily reliant on the bookThe Rise and Fall of Antonio Luna, which is linked to a Google Books page without full text preview. Has the editor who created this article accessed the full text? Or is this article based on Google snippets? --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 12:48, 7 September 2012 (UTC)
  • Nominator is required to submit a quid pro quo (QPQ) review within a week's time, and is reminded that QPQ's are always required when submitting a DYK nomination after the first five. I see that work continues to be done to the article, but it is as important to the DYK process to contribute per the rules if you wish also to ask others to work on your own nominations. BlueMoonset (talk) 05:57, 13 September 2012 (UTC)
  • Note: the submitted review is the approval of an already-approved nomination (reviewed four hours previously by someone else). Duplicate reviews are not valid QPQs, and a valid, original review is required. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:23, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
  • QPQ has been satisfied, but important query from BrownHairedGirl about sourcing has not been, and must be answered here. Arius1998 being reminded of this. BlueMoonset (talk) 17:31, 20 September 2012 (UTC)
  • I have already answered BrownHairedGirl in her talk page before concerning the matter. I have replied that I have accessed the full text of the said book. Arius1998 (talk) 02:13, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
  • Thanks. For future reference, answers should be made here so that everyone concerned can follow what's going on; if necessary, you ping the other person to come here and respond. It looks like BrownHairedGirl may not be coming back, so I'll signal for a new reviewer:
  • Need a reviewer for this nom. Thanks. BlueMoonset (talk) 05:41, 21 September 2012 (UTC)
  • paraphrasing tool ok on the online source, AGF on the book. size and age ok. I wonder whether a better hook would be: Casliber (talk · contribs) 04:15, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
ALT1 ... that during the Philippine-American War, the Capture of Malolos cost only eight American lives?
