Frederick Ballantyne[edit]

  • Reviewed: Polin Belisle
  • Comment: Both statements in the hook ("trained cardiologist" and "first to attend high school") can be found on page 17 of the reference provided.

5x expanded by IgnorantArmies (talk). Self-nominated at 10:43, 21 April 2016 (UTC).

  • I've added a more concise ALT1, as "trained" and current" seem redundant. Edwardx (talk) 17:49, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
  • The article was 5X expanded on April 20 and nominated for DYK on the 21st so it is new enough. It is long enough at 3493 characters (554 words) "readable prose size". It is neutral in tone and cites reliable sources using inline citations. Earwig found copyvio extremely unlikely and my spot checks found no plagiarism or close paraphrasing. The hook fact is interesting and cited inline. ALT1 is more concise and thus preferable to the original hook, which I have struck. The hook is short enough and properly formatted, and is neutral in tone. QPQ has been done. Ready for the main page. HazelAB (talk) 19:25, 1 May 2016 (UTC)
  • The hook facts must have inline cites (at the end of the sentences in which they appear), per DYK rules. Yoninah (talk) 22:56, 1 May 2016 (UTC)
@Yoninah: The hook fact (first in his family to attend high school) is now cited inline at the end of the sentence in the article. HazelAB (talk) 23:05, 1 May 2016 (UTC)
  • Thank you. Restoring your tick. Yoninah (talk) 23:09, 1 May 2016 (UTC)
