You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Svetlana Antonova requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. reddogsix (talk) 03:16, 3 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The article Gennadiy Shipulin has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Yuri Nikolaev, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://persona.rin.ru/eng/view/f/0/11380/nikolaev-yuri.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Replaceable fair use File:Gennadiy Shipulin.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Gennadiy Shipulin.png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 03:55, 8 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Kostetsky, Viktor.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Kostetsky, Viktor.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 18:07, 12 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Vitaly Logvinovski.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Vitaly Logvinovski.jpg.

Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 10:38, 13 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • I've gone ahead and added numerous reliable sources to the article which can be used for further expansion. I'm very sorry another thought to nominate it for deletion within minutes of you adding it, and while you provided external links to the websites where they were themselves listed, it is best under MOS:FILM that they be in the article itself to show the presumed notability. Please feel free to speak up at the deletion discussion... and thank you for your contribution. Schmidt, Michael Q. 04:40, 23 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Dismas. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Elena Berkova, but you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Dismas|(talk) 18:28, 1 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Coffee // have a cup // beans // 00:02, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The article Yuri Chernov has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Proposed deletion of Kristopher Kyer[edit]

The article Kristopher Kyer has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unremarkable actor who has had minor roles

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Deletion discussion about Ice hockey (film)[edit]

Hello, Кориоланыч,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Ice hockey (film) should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ice hockey (film) .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Igor Lifanov requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. LorTalk 22:53, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Vlad Stashevsky, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://imusic.am/artist/3535.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Russian Lolita[edit]

The article Russian Lolita has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails NFILM and the GNG. No assertion of notability. No substantive sourcing. All references/links appear to be unselective indices.

Replaceable fair use File:Svetlana Antonova.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Svetlana Antonova.jpg.

Thank you. Steel1943 (talk) 01:54, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Vladimir Yeryomin (actor).jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Vladimir Yeryomin (actor).jpg.

Thank you. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 18:35, 21 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Navigator Records[edit]

Hi,

I am not sure whether you are active in ru-wiki. Looking at ru:Navigator Records, I am not sure whether ru-wiki allows WP:PEACOCK texts such as " одним из ведущих лейблов России " and " является лидером России в области цифровых продаж "

In any case, if it is so 'krutaya' as it claims, can you make a en-wiki article off it? Staszek Lem (talk) 21:24, 24 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Gunārs Cilinskis requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". 2602:306:3357:BA0:31D4:8FB6:7D70:2554 (talk) 22:51, 3 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon A tag has been placed on Pierre Jovanovic requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Hello, Кориоланыч. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Igor Borisovich Chubais, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Vinod 10:30, 6 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Copying from other Wikipedias requires attribution[edit]

It appears that you have created the article Valentin Dikul using content from the Russian wiki. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying from other wikis, please at minimum mention in an edit summary at the new page where you got the content. It's also a good idea to place a {{translated}} template on the talk page of the new article. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please go back and provide attribution. Let me know if you have any questions. — Diannaa (talk) 00:14, 10 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Desjatnikov2009.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Desjatnikov2009.jpg.

You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Kelly hi! 11:38, 29 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Кориоланыч, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

Replaceable fair use File:Дoнатас Баниoнис.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Дoнатас Баниoнис.jpg.

Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy.
