Clare Bronfman[edit]

Hi there! I see that you recently edited Clare Bronfman, and that your edit was reverted. You may be wondering why another Wikipedia editor chose to revert your edit. Firstly, Wikipedia is an Encyclopedia, which is rather unlike Social Media. People do not have "Wikipedia pages", they have an article written about them by disinterested editors. Anyone can edit Wikipedia, but no edit in all-caps and making an accusation based on personal opinion will have a long lifespan on Wikipedia. If you wanted to express yourself, you should have made your edit to Talk:Clare Bronfman. Edits which appear rude or crazy may even be reverted on a talk page, but there is a lot more latitude there than in an encyclopedia article. Secondly, as an encyclopedia edited by anyone, it is normal that two articles about a pair of sisters or a pair of brothers will share a lot in common. The only way to support the accusation of "copying", though, is if all the article text is identical for both siblings' articles. As for copying from a personal Web page to Wikipedia, that is Plagiarism, which is strictly forbidden, no matter who does the copying (unless by prior arrangement with Wikipedia), and should be reported on the Talk page. Happy editing.--Quisqualis (talk) 23:40, 10 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
