Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Anchor baby, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. The quoted source says "immigrant", not "illegal immigrant". You can't just go change text in a direct quote because you disagree with what it says. If you believe "anchor baby" specifically refers only to a child of an illegal immigrant, find a source that says that, and incorporate that source into the article in such a way as to show there is a spectrum of opinion on the issue.Richwales (talk) 16:08, 21 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You are receiving this message because you have submitted at least one edit to the Frank_L._VanderSloot article during the past thirty days. Your attention is called to Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Rhode Island Red.2. Sincerely, GeorgeLouis (talk) 01:14, 22 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm ChrisHodgesUK. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Transportation Security Administration without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! ChrisHodgesUK (talk) 13:28, 17 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have edited two articles to add in nonsense about the people having obesity, and have thus been reverted. Kindly stop wasting everyone's time with this nonsense kid. Dream Focus 22:38, 22 April 2013 (UTC) (Diff) Nightscream (talk) 03:32, 23 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits to November 18

[edit]

Some of your edits on the page November 18 have been undone by PseudoBot, a robot built to keep the date pages tidy. The problems are:

The person you added doesn't seem to have a Wikipedia page.

If the page exists, check that you've spelled and capitalized the name the same way as the article, and try again. If it doesn't yet exist, read this page carefully before creating it. In particular, you shouldn't create a page about yourself or anyone you know personally. If this bot has got it wrong (as can unfortunately happen), please accept its author's apologies, and (if you would like) leave a message on this talk page with the details, so it can be improved. Please see this page for help. PseudoBot (talk) 12:04, 18 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Doniago. I wanted to let you know that I undid your recent edits to the Kingdom of Heaven (film) plot summary because they added a significant amount of unneeded detail. Please avoid excessive detail and high word counts when editing plot summaries/synopses. You may read the plot summary edit guides to learn more about contributing constructively to plot summaries/synopses. There are also specific guidelines for films, musicals, television episodes, anime/manga, novels and non-fiction books. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. -- DonIago (talk) 18:56, 26 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for working to improve the site with your edit to Comic Store Heroes, as we really appreciate your participation. However, the edit had to be reverted, because Wikipedia cannot accept uncited material or original research. This includes material lacking cited sources, material obtained through personal knowledge, or which constitutes the an analysis or interpretation by the editor that is not found in cited sources. Wikipedia requires that the material in its articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable (usually secondary) sources explicitly cited in the article text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 20:16, 5 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, 216.81.81.84. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your circle, your organization, its competitors, projects or products;
  • instead propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies.
Please read Wikipedia's Conflict of Interest guidelines before editing any articles related to the United States government to ensure you are in compliance. Thank you.
