Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Vladimir Vysotsky has been reverted.
Your edit here to Vladimir Vysotsky was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHDCmzmPInU&t=3323) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, please ignore this notice.

Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Carl Williams (boxer). Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 13:20, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Boxing at the 1988 Summer Olympics – Super heavyweight[edit]

Hi. Thanks for sorting out the tournament page. I had no idea the other user was avoiding a block. Good work! Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 17:41, 27 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

In my opinion, the fellow just overdid a little bit. Otherwise, keeping a low profile he got a real chance to went unnoticed for a next couple of years, and blew it without a good reason. 93.73.36.17 (talk) 18:20, 27 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Nigos, I'm not aware of any of my comments removed from the noticeboard either. 93.73.36.17 (talk) 09:32, 28 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
yeah... I think the discussion is closed now? Nigos (t@lk Contribs) 00:32, 29 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
No it's not, at least for now. 93.73.36.17 (talk) 19:00, 1 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Closed for now. But we'll wait and see what the fellow would pull next. I bet he would. 93.73.36.17 (talk) 17:33, 5 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Boxing at the 1984 Summer Olympics shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
Plus also similar behaviour at Boxing at the 1980 Summer Olympics. Escape Orbit (Talk) 19:12, 6 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hello Escape_Orbit, the latest puppet accounts that reverted my edit were banned a few days earlier, case closed, the thread archived (you can check the noticeboard archives,) so war is over, if there was any. 93.73.36.17 (talk) 20:02, 6 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
From what I can see, your edits have been reverted a number of times by different people. And for good reason, because they are speculation about "what if" scenarios that didn't happen. You also need to understand that Bold-Revert-Discuss means that if your addition is reverted, it is your responsibility to start the discussion, not anyone else's. Please explain why you think your addition improves the article on the talk page. Don't just continue to re-insert it. There is likely a case for a well sourced mention about the effects of the boycott, but without the speculation about who would have done what, had there been no boycott. Thanks. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 22:30, 6 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
No, it's not different people, it's different IPs and short-lived accounts. Check Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Archive310#User:Gumswick55. It's the same master account referred to as "Arosev." 93.73.36.17 (talk) 07:47, 7 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I'll break it down for you:

So, as you see, it's not different people. It's a thinly veiled sockpuppetry. 93.73.36.17 (talk) 07:54, 7 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly. But my point still stands. Your additions were speculative, please discuss them when reverted. Thanks. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 11:17, 7 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
But with whom should I discuss it? I've been notified that they were banned for good ("along with a bunch of other accounts, blocked as socks of Max Arosev.") 93.73.36.17 (talk) 11:24, 7 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Anyone and everyone who wishes to discuss it. Explain why your edit makes the article better and address any concerns raised about it. If time passes and no-one shows any interest, then you can re-add it. I've said above why I think there are problems with what you added, but there is room for the topic if suitably sourced and speculation is avoided. --Escape Orbit (Talk) 11:55, 7 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'll abide. Thanks for clarifying it. 93.73.36.17 (talk) 12:00, 7 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
