I noticed you have been cleaning up Josefine Gallmeyer, which is admirable. However, with this edit you seem to inadvertently have removed the {{ill}} template from the page. The template (which is short for {{interlanguage link}}) is useful for articles that not yet exist here but on other Wikipedias. No worries though, I restored it, so this is just a reminder to be careful with your edits. Btw, if you or someone else creates the article here, the template will automatically turn into a link to the English version of the article and no longer link to the German Wikipedia. Regards SoWhy 13:06, 9 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

PS: If you are bilingual or speak even more languages, you could also add this information to your userpage as well, so other users both know what you understand and who might assist with different languages. You can use the Babel-template ({{Babel|...}} to create a "tower" or alternatively use multiple {{user xx-#}} templates (where "xx" is the ISO 639-1 code for the language, e.g. "de" for German, and # is the proficiency level (from "N" for native, "5" for professional, "4" for near-native all the way to "1" for barely or "0" for none)), so for example {{user de-N}} could be used if you are a native German speaker. Regards SoWhy 13:17, 9 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
My bad, I was familiar with the inter-language link, but must've not looked too closely and just thought it wasn't linking to anything. And thanks, I'll be sure to use the language template you mentioned on my userpage :) AccountableJune (talk) 15:33, 9 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No worries, I just had that page watchlisted as part of my work on Adele Spitzeder (which is of course my pride and joy) and was wondering about that removal but didn't want to presume familiarity with such a lesser-known template. Btw, if you are interested in editing such subjects, you might want to check out the Wikipedia Library which grants access to otherwise paywalled sources, such as old newspapers, to Wikipedia editors who are serious about improving articles but otherwise lack access to such sources (for example through an university). PS: Impressive language skills. Regards SoWhy 11:58, 10 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply the article was close to a good article; it does need quite a bit of work. —Kusma (talk) 22:32, 20 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
