Disambiguation link notification for September 20
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Woodhall Spa Golf Club, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Heather and James Braid (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:23, 20 September 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Zackmann08. Thank you for your recent contributions to Woodhall Spa Golf Club. I noticed that when you added the image to the infobox, you added it as a thumbnail. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:
|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]
Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:
|image=SomeImage.jpg
.
There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption
. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks! [edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Binky McKenzie, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Please provide a source for birth year. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Andy Fraser. - FlightTime (open channel) 21:48, 15 November 2018 (UTC)

Andy Fraser
[edit]Not "erroneously deleted" It's not notable. If you want this information to stay you'll need to seek consensus on the article talk page. Nobody cares who dating who and this article is not about his sister. - FlightTime Phone (open channel) 00:20, 18 November 2018 (UTC)
Andy Fraser
[edit]The point is that Fraser’s bass playing, by his own admission, was heavily influenced by McKenzie. The relationship with his sister Anne Fraser was the reason why he happened to become acquainted with McKenzie. If you read the referenced interview you will see that this is in fact the case.

[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Andy Fraser. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. - FlightTime (open channel) 18:13, 18 November 2018 (UTC)
Edit war?
[edit]What the hell is your problem? You have absolutely no idea about the subject and cannot even be bothered to read reference material which you requested. Why do you also keep threatening to have me removed from Wikipedi?. Who the hell do you think you are? You sad ignorant old bully.
Allrightnow1970 (talk) 18:28, 18 November 2018 (UTC)
- Look, I'm not saying your content is right or wrong, all I'm asking is for you to start a discussion on the article's talk page and see if other editors who watch this page thinks it's relevant and/or notable. You don't just come here and add stuff to articles because you think it's important, that is exactly why we use consensus, if other editors think it's notable, then it's added. - FlightTime (open channel) 18:39, 18 November 2018 (UTC)
Andy Fraser
[edit]You have unilaterally removed my contribution based on your misguided opinion that it is “not notable”. You obviously know very little, if anything, about Andy Fraser and should not be making these decisions. I have provided a reference to an interview with Fraser from November 2014 which enhances the overall entry. If you had read it, which clearly you haven’t, you would have seen that the contribution is entirely correct and notable.
Allrightnow1970 (talk) 19:19, 18 November 2018 (UTC)
- You're correct, this is my opinion, that's exactly why I'm asking for consensus. - FlightTime (open channel) 19:21, 18 November 2018 (UTC)
- By the way, you don't need to create a new section every time you want to comment on the same subject. Better for all to keep discussions in the same section - FlightTime (open channel) 19:26, 18 November 2018 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Paul Kossoff Colour Image.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Paul Kossoff Colour Image.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Whpq (talk) 00:08, 13 May 2019 (UTC)
