File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Kordi Scars jpg.jpeg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Kordi Scars jpg.jpeg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nthep (talk) 19:40, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Kordi Scars.jpeg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Kordi Scars.jpeg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Church Talk 20:06, 17 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Kordi Scars jpg.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Image without license[edit]

Unspecified source/license for File:Kordi Scars.cute.jpeg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Kordi Scars.cute.jpeg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 18:51, 6 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Shane.Eangle.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Shane.Eangle.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 03:38, 16 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Problem with a template at your User page[edit]

Hi, the {{paid}} template at your User page

{{paid|Tripp Scott=''Tripp Scott''|client=''Tripp Scott''}}

makes a strange text. Apparently it misses the employer parameter. Possibly you meant:

{{paid|article=Draft:Tripp Scott|employer=''Tripp Scott''}}

Best regards,

Your userpage[edit]

Hi - your user page has been brought to my attention as a copy of mine. I don't mind you using my userpage as a template, although to be honest it's a bit of a hodgepodge and there are much better ones you could have chosen. However, there are certain things that you seem to have copied from my userpage that you must not have on your page.

  • You have userboxes and topicons claiming to have rights and permissions that you do not have.
  • You have barnstars etc. that were awarded to me, not to you. Please remove them now.
  • You also have a table of shortcuts to various project pages. Some of them, like AIV or NPP, are entirely widely used and you are welcome to link to them; others, such as the training pages that I am conducting with other users through CVUA, are nothing to do with you or your account.

As I said, if you want to use the layout for my userpage as a template, you're welcome, but I'd be grateful if you'd remove all the material I mentioned above immediately. Thanks in advance. GirthSummit (blether) 16:07, 5 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Since you don't seem to have logged in for a few days, I'm going to take the liberty of removing the problematic material from your page. I hope that's OK with you. GirthSummit (blether) 19:47, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Done - I'm quite comfortable for you to keep whatever is left on there on your userpage - I suspect some of the userboxes perhaps don't pertain to you, unless you are also a teacher with a degree in Geology and an interest in history and feminist politics - but maybe you are, so I've left them on. The remaining stuff in the table is entirely generic, so you're welcome to keep it on your page, but I'm not sure how useful it will be to you. Please do not reinstate any of the material that I've removed; drop me a note on my talk page if you want to ask anything about what I've not. GirthSummit (blether) 19:54, 6 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

DEATHRACE moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, DEATHRACE, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Additionally as you have a major conflict of interest you should refrain from moving drafts or content yourself and instead go through AFC. Praxidicae (talk) 18:55, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Note[edit]

You'll notice above I moved your drafts back to draft space - given your massive conflict of interest, you need to submit these through AFC, especially given the fact that neither draft has a single independent reliable source. Please read WP:COI and WP:NPOV. Thanks. Praxidicae (talk) 18:57, 18 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
