Your talk page

After the extreme disruption at Gabby Duran & the Unsittables and your talk page, Amuary, I decided to ask for semiprotection here. MPFitz1968 (talk) 18:45, 6 December 2021 (UTC)

@MPFitz1968: Appreciate it. Amaury • 18:49, 6 December 2021 (UTC)

California Dreaming?

What is this?! [1] I can't figure out – it's either a failed pilot they're airing anyway, or it's a backdoor pilot. I'm not sure which... Do you have any more info on this? --IJBall (contribstalk) 14:49, 14 December 2021 (UTC)

@IJBall: Might be similar to The Massively Mixed-Up Middle School Mystery, a one-off special. The Futon Critic describes it as a backdoor special, however, so it could also be like 100 Things to Do Before High School, which aired a double-length special, and then a long time after, it began as a regular series. OK, yeah, I missed that: [2]. There's more info here [3] though it's from 2 years ago, when this was untitled – but that development blurb talks about this as if it is meant to be a series. My guess is if it does well, they'll greenlight a series from it, though I have no idea how they determine what does "well" these days!... Anyway, I might check this out on Thursday – it sounds quite a bit like Lost & Found Music Studios which was on Netflix until just recently; it also sounds a little like Backstage too. --IJBall (contribstalk) 18:19, 14 December 2021 (UTC)

Finally got around to watching this. It was like a cross between Big Time Rush and something like Lost & Found Music Studios or Backstage. Tonally, I found that to be a problem, because I think it would have been better if they played it straighter... Based on its conclusion, I think this is an abandoned pilot – they gave it an American Graffiti-style ending, telling us what happened to the characters, which implies to me they do not intend to continue it (at least not with this cast)... There were no end credits – I think I will check the Nick app to see if there are any credits there. --IJBall (contribstalk) 19:49, 18 December 2021 (UTC)

Hey there, So I see you reverted the edit I made on Bunk'd. I understand now about not adding the new cast but what about the table? With the cast ever changing, I think a table would be a great addition (even if we wait to add the new cast). Many shows have them on their pages as a way to show the different cast changes in an orderly fashion. All you put was "No" and I kind of feel slighted about that. We all have a right to make edits and I believe at least for the table's sake, it is beneficial. Especially for a show like Bunk'd. Joshie (New Horizons Await You) 00:48, 16 December 2021 (UTC)

@Ijoshiexo: Please show a draft of the cast table on the article's Talk page. In general, cast tables are often a bad idea, and in the case of Bunk'd let's see what one looks like first... --IJBall (contribstalk) 16:26, 17 December 2021 (UTC)

IP looks unlikely to drop this, and as this is not a static IP, I suggest asking for temporary semi-protection for this article. Pinging Magitroopa as well. --IJBall (contribstalk) 16:26, 17 December 2021 (UTC)
