Hello, I'm Glane23. I noticed that in this edit to Palam, Delhi, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Geoff | Who, me? 18:02, 31 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I just made palam weather box a separate template & replaced that in place of palam weatherbox. Anwesh Abhijat Das (talk) 13:16, 1 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Toddy1. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Allahabad, but you didn't provide a reliable source. I suspect that your information is correct. But readers must be able to check that any of the information within Wikipedia articles is not just made up. This means all material must be attributable to reliable, published sources. Additionally, quotations and any material challenged or likely to be challenged must be supported by inline citations. Your edit been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. Information icon Hello, I'm Fowler&fowler. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Delhi have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Please add those details to the Climate of Delhi page, if they don't already have them Fowler&fowler«Talk» 10:44, 18 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Why have you removed Safdarjung Weatherbox template from Delhi Climate Section? Anwesh Abhijat Das (talk) 12:15, 18 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It belongs to the Climate of Delhi page. Delhi is a highly distilled summary. It cannot take undue material from New Delhi. Please remove your addition. If you feel strongly about it, you will still need to remove it per WP:BRD, open a thread at the talk page Talk:Delhi, and garner a consensus there. Attempting to edit war with me will only bring penalties. Please stand warned. So, please self revert. Fowler&fowler«Talk» 13:55, 18 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
But the template even was there like that before anyone's edit. Anwesh Abhijat Das (talk) 14:20, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Please I request you to allow me to revert the settings back to it's previous settings. Who had created the page that person had only given Safdarjung Weatherbox. You should allow me add the Safdarjung Weatherbox again. Anwesh Abhijat Das (talk) 11:20, 20 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hey again you changed climate of Delhi. Putting data of more weather stations will help readers to determine in which areas is more good. Anwesh Abhijat Das (talk) 12:30, 7 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The article cannot take more than one weatherbox. You decide which one is the most relevant for Delhi, but don't add two, then three, then four, or whatever it is you are doing. Despite many editors telling you, there are no edit summaries in your edits. Fowler&fowler«Talk» 15:37, 22 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ok then let the Safdarjung weatherbox be there as it is the city's base station. Anwesh Abhijat Das (talk) 12:15, 23 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Please just revert your changes back. Anwesh Abhijat Das (talk) 12:31, 7 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Delhi shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
Please note that by WP:BRD you are required to open a discussion on Talk:Delhi and garner a consensus for your additions. Fowler&fowler«Talk» 14:06, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Largoplazo (talk) 12:32, 26 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ok. From next time I will do that. Anwesh Abhijat Das (talk) 15:21, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Important information

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.  Fowler&fowler«Talk» 14:07, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
