Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Dinga. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it.

Recent edit to Jaura[edit]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you removed some content from Jaura without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. File permission problem with File:Inside;Govt High School Karnana,Gujrat,Pakistan.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Inside;Govt High School Karnana,Gujrat,Pakistan.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nthep (talk) 13:43, 21 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

October 2015[edit]

Hello, I'm K6ka. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Religion seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. --I am k6ka Talk to me! See what I have done 16:59, 1 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for October 31[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Karnana, Pakistan, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Division. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:57, 31 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Possibly unfree File:Karnana-Google Maps-Mobile Version.png[edit]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Karnana-Google Maps-Mobile Version.png, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree files because its copyright status is unclear or disputed. If the file's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the file description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you object to the listing for any reason. Thank you. DexDor (talk) 07:26, 16 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Karnana-Google Maps-Mobile Version.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. January 2016[edit]

Information icon Hello, I noticed that you recently removed some content from General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon apparently by mistake. In the future, be more careful with your edits so as not to accidentally remove content from articles. Don't worry, I restored the deleted content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox instead. Thanks. -Fnlayson (talk) 19:42, 24 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:MORE THAN ‘AFREEN AFREEN’ MOMINA MUSTEHSAN CREATING WAVES ALL OVER INTERNET.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:MORE THAN ‘AFREEN AFREEN’ MOMINA MUSTEHSAN CREATING WAVES ALL OVER INTERNET.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. — JJMC89(T·C) 18:54, 20 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Your recent edit to List of Pakistani musicians added the name of an apparently non-notable entity. In general, a person or organization added to a list should have a pre-existing article to establish notability. If you wish to create such an article, please confirm that your subject is notable according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you! Materialscientist (talk) 11:26, 28 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Abdul-Rehman Iqbal.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F10 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a file that is not an image, sound file or video clip (e.g. a Microsoft Word document or PDF file) that has no encyclopedic use.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I first uploaded it on Google Owned Panoramio for Google Maps and Google Earth. But Panoramio has been discontinued more than 5 years ago. Where should I put the Fair use license? Should I mail the given e-mail address through my Google Account used in Panoramio? 58.27.201.162 (talk) 00:49, 28 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
