The Club is not for profit Kayak club that supports a community of kayakers, ocean paddlers and para-canoe athletes. We have a history of the club that we want to capture about the club, how it was formed & built and the Australian Olympians that have paddled for the club, all 14 of them have Wikipedia pages that promote them far more than we mention our club. We are also looking to add articles to the community in relationship to kayaking & ocean paddling in Australia and globally (US, Europe and South Africa. The club does not have a lot of resources to research wikipedia policy but did attempt to follow the format and topics used by other paddling clubs in the US, and even feed our post through ChatGPT to ensure our content was correctly structured. We not that ‪Manlywarringahkayakclub‬ is a not for profit, ‪Manly Warringah Sea Eagles‬ by comparison has a substantive coverage and a fully commercial operation. We have not been paid for this, we donated our time to this kayak club and do not agree with the original determination made by AelxF, but happy to work with Wikipedia to pay for a presence or amend the part of our original content that may have not aligned to Wikipedia policy

@Ausdcol01: You cannot request an unblock for another account on their behalf. Or are you the same person operating both that account and this one? --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 04:44, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

We can not get back in to the club account, I am on the club committee and trying to get this sorted out. Unfortunately this has blocked my personal account and we are two separate entities, there should no blocks being applied to my personal account, however there seems to be Ausdcol01 (talk) 04:47, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  1. How many accounts do you have access to? Please list them by name.
  2. How many people have access to the ‪Manlywarringahkayakclub‬ account?

Turned down a request from the club account. 331dot (talk) 08:06, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Ausdcol01: In case it isn't clear, sharing access to an account is never permitted under any circumstances. Evidence of shared use is grounds for a block.

The general rule here is one account per editor, because the potential for abuse by using multiple accounts is high. Misusing multiple accounts is referred to here as sockpuppetry and is subject to sanctions. While there are legitimate uses to have alternative accounts, this is not something we encourage unless you are an experienced editor.

Wikipedia is not a directory, so an organization is not entitled to have a Wikipedia article just because it exists. All topics must be notable by Wikipedia's definition to merit inclusion. In the specific case of an organization, it must meet the notability criteria for companies and organizations. For this to happen, the organization must have already received significant coverage in multiple reliable and independent sources. We have no interest in what an organization wishes to say about itself, as this is an inherent conflict of interest. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 16:49, 1 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
