Welcome to Wikipedia!

Hello, Autoreplete, I'm Kafziel. I noticed you were new, or at least that nobody has officially welcomed you yet, so let me be the first to say hello, give you some tips, and share a few useful links.

Here are some links you might find helpful:

I know they're a little boring (okay... a lot boring) but they may come in handy someday.

I give every newcomer two tips for adding content: cite references whenever possible, and try to set aside any personal points of view. Aside from that, just be patient and receptive, ask questions whenever you need to, and have a good time. If you want to experiment with coding or see how articles will look before you post them, you can use your own private sandbox at User:Autoreplete/sandbox for any tests you want to do. (The link will turn blue after you start the page.)

Now that you have your own user name, you can sign your comments on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically stamp your user name, the time, and the date. That will help other users reply to your posts. You may also want to fill out your user page to tell others a bit about yourself.

I hope this information is useful to you, and I'm looking forward to seeing your contributions. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me for help. Good luck, and happy editing! Kafziel Talk 01:25, 27 November 2006 (UTC) [reply]

Welcome

[edit]

Just another quick note to say welcome. I noticed from your edits and talk page that the USMC is among your topics of interest. I invite you to take a look at the Marine Corps Portal if you have not done so already and please help us out any way if you are interested. We are always looking for new editors to help expand our Marine Corps content. Again, welcome and if you ever need any help please drop me a line. Cheers--Looper5920 02:45, 27 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

World's Smallest Political Quiz userbox

[edit]

You may be interested in User:Audacity/Userboxes/WSPQ, which is a replacement for the old Political Chart userbox. The new userbox takes the two variables (economic and personal freedom), calculates which political alignment they place you into (Statist, Libertarian, Liberal, Centrist, or Conservative), and links your userpage to the appropriate category.

Please reply to User talk:Audacity, as I will not be watching your talk page. Λυδαcιτγ 07:45, 27 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your input is needed on the SOPA initiative

[edit]

Hi Pretendo,

You are receiving this message either because you expressed an opinion about the proposed SOPA blackout before full blackout and soft blackout were adequately differentiated, or because you expressed general support without specifying a preference. Please ensure that your voice is heard by clarifying your position accordingly.

Thank you.

Mobile Trauma Bay

[edit]

Hi Pretendo, I saw that you were one of, or the, originator of the LVSR article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LVSR). I just finished an article on the MTB and added that acronym on to the photo you have of the LVSR with the ambulance. Here is the link to the MTB article. As my article is new and is an "orphan" and as you have mention of the MTB in the LVSR articlehttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_Trauma_Bay, I wanted you to know this was up. Hoping you might link to it. I tried (I think that is ok to do?) but it made some funny formatting changes so I removed my attempted link. Thanks and let me know if you do stop by the MTB article. Mobile Trauma Bay

[edit]

HI, I'm not great with Wiki talk so I don't know I'm putting this request in the right place.....anyhow.... I wanted to take you up on your offer to help me out. You said, ages ago that you might be able to help me create a wikilink to the Mobile Trauma Bay page from the LVS page. That would be amazing, as I tried more than oh...5 times, to do it. ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

[edit]

Hello, Autoreplete. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
