Disambiguation link notification for December 1[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Soner Aydoğdu, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Mamak (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

District names with village names[edit]

Hi Bobcats, you have moved several populated place articles from XXX, YYY format to XXX format. I agree with you, if there is no risk of ambiguation shorter name is better. But please note the following. These places are listed in a series of articles titled List of populated places in YYY Province. Well in these lists the names are given in XXX, YYY format. So unless a redirect has been formed, there 'll be red links instead of blue links. Cheers. Nedim Ardoğa (talk) 19:16, 25 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Alpaslan Öztürk[edit]

It's quite ridiculous to insist on this. despite his recent decision to play for Turkey. He was born in belgium trained in belgium and the article of the club that you insist on changing is at walking distance from his birthplace. He was playing there as Belgian player not as a foreign one. I agree that in other articles, and definitely going forward he should be listed as Turkish. But not retroactively. Note that the club you are changing does not exist anymore. Note that he has not played for Turkey yet, wikipedia is an ecyclopedia not a copy of uefa.com. I propose a compromise along the lines of BelgiumTurkey or TurkeyBelgium, unless you can point me to a section of the wikipedia rules that specify what should be chosen.Pinfix (talk) 15:07, 9 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The article Metin Aydın has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article about a footballer who fails WP:GNG and who has not played in a fully pro league. The transfermarkt match report allegedly confirming his debut is incorrect. The TFF's report for the same match shows Aydin did not play.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Ersan Gülüm[edit]

After adding to your addition on the article, I reverted and added a source from FIFA indicating that he was an unused sub for Turkey. That means that he has still not been capped for the nation. A player has to play, not just suit-up for a nation to earn a cap. Walter Görlitz (talk) 20:18, 10 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Abdülkerim Bardakcı[edit]

Hello Bobcats 23,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Abdülkerim Bardakcı for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. – S. Rich (talk) 06:35, 24 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Ahmet Şahbaz[edit]

Hello. When editing Ahmet Şahbaz you removed the maintenance template asking for more sources. Having only one source is insufficient, especially for a biography of a living person, so please leave the template until such time as multiple sources support the article. Stop icon This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Hwasus (Talk) 22:56, 17 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be engaged in an edit war with one or more editors according to your reverts at Europe. Although repeatedly reverting or undoing another editor's contributions may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, and often creates animosity between editors. Instead of edit warring, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. While edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, breaking the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. C679 22:11, 17 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Help needed![edit]

Hi there, Bobcats 23!

I noticed that you were actively engaged in this article, a few months ago: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_cuisine

It seems that the user "Jerryine" is unwilling to keep certain European countries in the article for whatever reason it may be, even though the countries I'm trying to add to the article can be found in the template for European cuisine.

Is there anything we could do to stop this irrational stubbornness? --Kutsuit (talk) 11:56, 9 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Bobcats 23. If you look at your talk page history, you'll notice that the same person who kept reverting your inclusion of Turkey (in the European cuisine article) thought you were an admin and wanted your help LOL! Isn't it so ironic? :-P --Kutsuit (talk) 08:29, 17 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
