Help[edit]

That TyrannoRanger menace of The Mr. Men Wiki got me blocked for a year and is so sorry. I want my IP address to have changed before next month and how do they actually change. Please expand the ban to 6 months. --Unregistered user, 8:57, April 10, 2011 (UTC)

Well you shouldn't have been messing with him or the wiki. If I tell him, he won't listen, so there is no point.--Brainiac Adam (talk) 13:38, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have given CuriousWikian590 a level 3 harassment warning. You have said he was a sock ... of what user? Can you say? Daniel Case (talk) 19:18, 25 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I can't remember him having a wikipedia account here. I never saw him but he did say he was hated on Wikipedia, plus he's harrassing me about Youtube and it was driving me crazy. I think he's a ban evader anyway. I apologize if I wasted your time but he has been harrassing me.--Brainiac Adam (talk) 20:15, 25 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm investigating this. AGK [] 20:38, 25 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ok. Again, if I wasted your time then I apologize, if not, great! Thanks again for your help. :) --Brainiac Adam (talk) 20:51, 25 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Wikian590 doesn't seem to be a sock. I will defer to Daniel Case on how to deal with the harassment, and consider this matter to be resolved (absent further developments). AGK [] 22:03, 25 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Alright. Thank you very much for your help. :) --Brainiac Adam (talk) 23:06, 25 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not an admin, nor am I involved in your particular issue -- but I saw your pleas while I was looking at something else on SPI. You should consider looking into whether or not you can/should file an ANI. That is probably your only course of action if you're being harassed. Good luck. Erikeltic (Talk) 00:53, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Alright. Thank you for your advice. I deeply appreciate it. :)--Brainiac Adam (talk) 15:03, 28 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • The recent attacks by CuriousWikian590 seem to follow from posts to your talk page in January by 175.38.165.50 and in April by 58.110.240.225. This user has a long history of troublesome editing, from over 20 IP addresses (counting only the ones I know about) and at least two accounts, probably more. I have probably been more involved than anyone else in blocking this editor, so if you get any more trouble from the same person please feel welcome to contact me on my talk page. JamesBWatson (talk) 11:07, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah he has been causing a lot of trouble on the Mr. Men wiki as well recently too. Thanks for your advice. I will talk to you for help if CuriousWikian590 and other accounts messes with me again. :) Thanks a lot.--Brainiac Adam (talk) 15:13, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 02:39, 6 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit to "Scorpio (astrology)"[edit]

In this edit you changed the dates for which the sun passes through the Scorpio astrological sign. There was a citation in the article to The Astrology Bible: The Definitive Guide to the Zodiac to support the dates that were previously in the article. Unfortunately I don't have a copy of that book. You must have read the book to justify the change; would you please provide a quote showing how the book presents this information? Jc3s5h (talk) 20:40, 3 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind. I found a better source. Jc3s5h (talk) 13:42, 4 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Fake Ads[edit]

Hi, to boost your petition you could add links to it in the comments section of the relevant videos on YouTube, regards Atlantic306 (talk) 19:12, 14 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. That is what I have been doing. To the people who was sick of the false advertising, I told them to sign and share it, and so far, it's going up slowly but surely. I still have a long way to go, but I'm making slightly better progress. I still need loads more in order to make the difference. --Brainiac Adam (talk) 20:41, 14 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
