Rv of deletions on user pages
Wooty -
I agree fully with your NPA-1 posting at User talk:PeteJayhawk, but in the future, please don't revert editor deletions of warnings (or anything else) done by the user on his/her own user talk page. This has been a point of major confusion, I admit, and there is even a policy or guideline that says deleting "is frowned upon", but there is not any policy that actually says it's wrong to do so, or authorizes an editor to revert warnings. Rather, the presumption is that (a) a user who deletes a warning has read it; and (b) when deciding what level of warning to give a user, or whether to block (for admins), it's going to be necessary to review the page history (which is why edit summaries are so important).
So I thank you for posting this and other warnings on user pages - they are valuable in escalating matters until a user either reforms or is blocked - but please don't revert; it's not policy, and some editors feel - with some justification - that it's a form (minor, albeit) of harassment. Thanks. -- John Broughton (☎☎) 01:48, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, I thought there was a rule that said a revert was OK, but I decided to search around after doing it and found only an inactive proposal or two. That's why I didn't revert again. Apologies. --Wooty Woot? contribs 02:17, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
Do you take recommendations for your "Lulz of the day?" Roffle Mao (especially last couple entries). V-Man737 03:39, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

RE:Uh..
Thanks for catching that for me. That would be a copy/paste/not fixing error by me. -Royalguard11(Talk·Desk·Review Me!) 18:44, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Hey Wooty, thanks for the heads up about NPWatcher, I'll definitely request approval for it. Would you mind sending me your MSN? I'd like to talk to you about this level design thing. Thanks! :) --lightspeedchick 20:03, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
re: reply
as you well know, Japan has been responsible for a great many crimes and atrocities, commonly accepted to the world. Now, if you edit the article to make it look like Japan is a hated race just from quite innocence, or make them look even worse, it would be FUBAR. to further your inquiry of the word "xenophobia", Korea was and is a very xenophobic society that regarded Japan as an inferior culture, and furthermore hated Japan for its various crimes throughout history, including the imjin wars and the Japanese occupation from 1910- 1945. it is imperative that the word xenophobic be inserted into the article. - Hmm, I see your point. However, there is a lot of synonyms for the same word - it could possibly be cut down to avoid wordiness... -Wooty Woot? contribs 07:58, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
Not worthy of anyone's respect..
Wooty. You are a poster child for what sysops and bureaucrats should not be. Until you reach sixty and posses PhDs in at least sociology and psychology versus merely leaning on someone else’s your wishes will have insufficient merit to command anyone’s respect in accordance with most of the things you have deleted. 71.100.174.200 04:44, 20 February 2007 (UTC)
