September 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Gibbons P.C.—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help desk. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 17:07, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Gibbons P.C.. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. -- LuK3 (Talk) 17:45, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Are one of you able to assist me with the editing process? I am the Director of Digital Marketing at Gibbons and would like to update our entire page to more factual information, such as our attorney head count, office locations, and practice areas, as well as eliminate the promotional content that is currently appearing. I tried to accomplish this with my two recent updates, but both were declined. Any assistance would be great - thank you in advance! CarolynClay (talk) 18:54, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please consult the paid editing disclosure policy, and make the required disclosure on your userpage (User:CarolynClay) with the {{paid}} template. Then, please read up on how to make edit requests and make your request at Talk:Gibbons P.C..
It appears that your colleague, Danielleulrich, made an edit request in April. It's probably beneficial for you to read through that so that you can see what changes were requested then, and why it was declined. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 20:25, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
