Re: SSB Stadium

Yep, go for it. Just cite the fact that it is a venue and add the town it is in etc. Should be no problem if done right. Cheers. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 05:59, 7 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Team season pages

Agree, although, what is stopping the creation of these pages? You and I only create these pages when we know we will update it but others usually start the other pages and just leaves them or does simple edits. Currently I am in some real life stuff but once summer comes I plan on updating all the ISL team pages like I did with the 2014 Kerala Blasters FC season page. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 19:25, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, that is what I live for on here. If I need help then I will be sure to get to you mate. And thanks, I need it. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 22:09, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Plan clarification

Okay, my young pupil, it is time we discussed what the ultimate plan is! Seriously, I think I can tell you what the plan is regarding the ISL articles. As you probably know, it was tough to edit during the season. For me, I was busy with college and stuff and then we had a bunch of non-regular Indian football editors come in and change things... I decided that to combat this I would wait till the end of December. By the end of December the season would be over and I would be in winter break and would be able to do my clean-up but sadly that was delayed as other real life things would occur that I could not combat. The plan was the redo/start everything that had to do with the 2014 season and the ISL overall. That meant redoing the Indian Super League page, 2014 Indian Super League season page, 2014 Indian Super League Final page, and even the season pages such as the 2014 Kerala Blasters FC season. I also wanted to start the process of creating pages such as List of Kerala Blasters FC head coaches and Category:Kerala Blasters FC draft picks. Why did I want to create these pages? Because this is a brand new league and unlike the I-League we have all the information available to us to make these pages as good as possible from the start! We can start things perfectly and hopefully continue it into the future!

This is all currently detailed at my ISL project page at User:ArsenalFan700/Project: Indian Super League. Currently the only things I have competed are pages related to Kerala Blasters FC... like, literally, every page I can make that has to do with the Blasters is created... every page, category, template is done (Except for the records page which I will leave for a bit to see if I can do). If you scroll down to the Blasters FC part of the Project page you will see a bunch of checkmarks which mean "done" next to the pages... that means I have gone through the pages and revamped/created them to make them the best I can make them... both in page and talk page. I then add all these pages, templates, and categories to a separate watchlist I have over at another account of mine called User:FootballinIndiaWiki. I currently have many things in my watchlist from Indian football to American soccer, Australian soccer, Arsenal and others that two years ago I decided to create a new account so I can add only Indian football things to the watchlist. The watchlist there currently only has the Kerala Blasters FC stuff as those are the pages that are completely redone/created and reviewed. The reason I don't edit with that account is because it is my second account and since I can't have more than one account it was blocked from editting but I can still use the watchlist... I can also only log in when on incognito mode on chrome otherwise I would be blocked from editting forever!

Anyway, I am willing to give you the details to that account (and User:IndianFootballPlayersWiki) one day but not today. For now I will clarify my plan. Currently, after doing the Kerala Blasters FC stuff I decided my next team would be the Delhi Dynamos FC. They really need it and currently if you look at my sandbox you will see I have started the 2014 Delhi Dynamos FC season page but there will be difference. Unlike the Kerala Blasters season page, I will not add a lot of detail. I will do the bare minimum for the rest of the 2014 season articles with Atletico de Kolkata being the exception as they are the champions. Then, for the 2015 season, I will plan on creating the season pages and we can assign which 4 you get and 4 I get but for now I could use your help with the 2014 pages... don't do anything yet, I will review the project and I will get back to you with what I would like you to do (if you want to of course). I just wanted to get you up to speed. If there is anything here you do not understand please do tell me. Cheers. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 04:37, 10 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Results table

Oh shoot, missed that! I do not believe so. If a league is one-legged then I believe it is okay to add the full fixtures and results to the page as I can not think of any box like thing that would work. It is only 38 fixtures so we can do it. Cheers and sorry for missing that. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 18:57, 11 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Frustration

Hi Coderzombie, I saw your talk page comment at Talk:Reporters (Indian TV series). I know that it can be very frustrating to edit here sometimes, but personal attacks are rarely the way to go and it takes a very strong editor to avoid them. I've had numerous interactions with TPRPOD, and we don't always see eye-to-eye, but I do appreciate his contributions. While he is not terribly warm and fuzzy, he does know a great deal and I generally agree with his edits. That can be difficult to keep in mind when you're trying to make contributions and they get reverted, but remember that you can always go to the talk page to get a clearer perspective, and you can always go to the Indian cinema task force to get other opinions. Hope that helps and I hope you can bounce back from the discouragement. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 20:58, 19 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize if that attack sounded personal, but it was specific about how he employs his strategy. e.g. Just look at the page in question. I understand sometimes people treat wiki pages like fan pages, that's why I did a clean-up and only added reliable source and despite that he removed all the section information. Whatever happened to Wikipedia:Assume good faith? And when I restore it again, he'll remove it again making sure that the article remains in a bad shape and then he'll slyly redirect it. Coderzombie (talk) 04:49, 20 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Phase one begins

Phase one for Indian Super League and Indian football begins with this page: User:ArsenalFan700/Indian Super League. Edit with caution young one. Cheers. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 20:02, 14 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I know you are older than me in the real world but on here, you are the young one! But seriously, sure, I'll just call you by your username now. Cheers. BTW, feel free to edit that page. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 14:53, 15 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Made this

So ya, I made this. Match won't be high scoring but god damnit it will mean something so feel free to update. Cheers. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 05:54, 31 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Mate, if you don't get pictures from the match I will personally come to India and find you, then slap you for not getting damn pictures! I am so pumped! BTW, you use reddit? --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 06:01, 31 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, you see, I ask because I was wondering if you saw this and this. Yes, I will make a match-thread there for the match, I may not update it though as I will be to focused on the game. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 06:21, 31 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
BUT THERE WAS NO HYPE!!!! But seriously, tough luck bro, and its cool. I slept through the first half anyway by accident. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 18:44, 31 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Re: The 2014 ISL season revamp

Ya, I based the page off the Premier League, MLS, and a bit of the A-League season pages where they don't have that. Just as I was going onto the 2014 ISL page before applying the revamp I noticed that draft section and realized that it should be there. It is 7 am over here though and I kinda just want to finish the revamp and then sleep and the draft section would need a bit of redoing so I decided to go ahead with the revamp without the draft section and will re-add it later. Cheers. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 11:19, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I re-added it after some tweaking. I did not make it its own section though. I added it under "Teams" as I thought "We put transfer changes under the "teams" section so why not player drafts?" Anyway, check it out if you want. Cheers mate. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 01:53, 3 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This time of the year

Hey man, first off, sorry for taking forever to get back to you. It has been a busy weekend for me and I only had time to look at and edit a few things. Second, damn, I feel honored man. You've been an amazing addition to the team this season. Anyway, ya, I would be delighted to review the page quickly and then get it in for a "GA" review. My plan is to look at other GA's like the 2003–04 Arsenal F.C. season page and see what that editor there did. I will admit, I am a little surprised this article was "C" rated. After this though we will get it to "GA" and maybe... maybe... "FA". Cheers. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 05:54, 8 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ya, I can see that. I will check it out when I can mate. Cheers. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 18:07, 9 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Individual match format

Thanks for the note. Seems that one or two people want to stick with the old format but very much worth putting an argument for progress. I am currently adding season statistics for historical seasons (1960s)... generally avoid current season editing for United as there are too many people doing so! Re: Sunil Chhetri goals

According to national-football-teams, he has 47 goals. It also says he is on 79 games while other sources, such as NDTV state that this was his 87th match. Where did the extra 8 matches and 3 goals come from? --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 20:42, 9 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Ya... I would just go with the national-football-teams site. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 04:20, 10 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Reporters edit

Hi I really appreciate the efforts that you guys are making to have the unbiased opinion on the internet. However, I think my edits were fair. The first post article was highly negative ( which too should not be counted as a fair article) . it reviewed the serial just on the basis on first article, while he times of India article that I inserted in was post he serial completed 50 episodes.

Hi. Please participate on the discussion. The changes proposed by User:Sygmoral is really a fix to this template. Re: This time of the year

Haha, ya, I honestly became very lazy over the summer and then once college started again... well, I don't need to tell you. I also noticed you were less active recently as well. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 19:22, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Don't say that man, ISL needs us. Everyday I look at the watchlist and see the editing being done and a tear rolls down my eye. If I had the time I would do a clean sweep of all these pages but then someone else will edit in the damn flags into the infobox or link this random Brazilian to an ISL team. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 08:17, 3 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi CZ, I hate to point it out, but you made a few mistakes with regard to your Quantico (TV series) split. Firstly, the Television community typically doesn't split off episode lists until S2 begins. Secondly, you really should have discussed this first, because you may have gotten input from other users to the effect of "the Television community typically doesn't split off episode lists until S2 begins". Lastly, and more importantly, you should never create an article with content you've lifted from another Wikipedia page without providing proper attribution to the editors who contributed to the creation of that content. That can be done in two ways, 1) When you create an article with the copied text, be clear in your first edit summary, "Content copied from Quantico (TV series). Please see that article for attribution". Another way to do this (and I would probably recommend both methods just to be extra safe) is to fill out the {{copied}} template and paste it at the top of the new article's talk page, which probably would have looked something like this:

{{Copied|from=Quantico (TV series)|from_oldid=https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Quantico_(TV_series)&oldid=688874435|to=List of Quantico episodes|diff=https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_Quantico_episodes&oldid=688872575}}
This would have resolved as:

I've restored the list to the main article and redirected the new pages. If you've created any other page splits like this, I must ask that you please be diligent, go back through them, and apply proper attribution using the Copied template. For more info, please see WP:CWW. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:47, 3 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please help defend SAFF articles for deletion

Hi Coderzombie, please help me defend the SAFF sub articles which are currently being considered for deletion. Re: I-League transfers

It was already started a while ago: I-League transfers for the 2015–16 season. Hadfadkar started it and here we are. Cheers. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 13:53, 12 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

We really do. Sometimes I feel the mix ups are my fault cause I like to experiment with ideas from say, a Premier League type article and do something on Indian football but then I will also take something from Major League Soccer or the A-League and bring it here. For example, instead of using List of English football transfers summer 2015 naming style, I used A-League transfers for 2015–16 season as that made sense, since we only get transfer news from the I-League anyway and the ISL has its own style similar to the IPL. A lot of Indian football wiki editors though don't know about the MLS/A-League style so will use the European ones. Don't know if I made any sense here but that is how I see it. Cheers. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 14:09, 12 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

What was that about?

What the title says, what was that about? You know about WP:NSEASONS and how that page needs expansion, not deletion. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 18:47, 17 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ahh, okay, I guess. I probably should add information about it so I will eventually this year... this was the season they were relegated after all. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 13:43, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

positions by round

Hey, ya, true, it is more structured but the problem in the past was not just that but also how we would source that section. How would we source that Mumbai FC finished 6th in round 10 and then moved to 3rd in round 11, for example? --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 13:25, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I guess, ya, but then there are always people from WP:Football who watch articles like the 2015-16 I-League and eventually will see it and will just remove it citing that it is unsourced which is what I believe happened last year. I am not sure to be honest, technically I would say no just because it will be removed anyway for being unsourced. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 13:34, 18 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I-League U15

Hey, I noticed that you re-created the articles for the I-League U15 and 2015-16 U15 season. Please note that both these pages are not notable. Please see this for the AfD in regards to the last time these pages were made. I am mentioning this to you so we don't have to go through the hassle of AfD again and perhaps you could just nominate these articles for speedy deletion based on authors decision. Cheers. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 09:08, 14 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, just wondering if you saw this. I will bring these pages to AfD otherwise. Cheers. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 09:17, 17 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I mean, that kinda makes it less notable in a way. It is for the U17 World Cup, next year it will apparently be turned into a U16 league and then what about after? If anything, this league should be mentioned in the India U17 page in a section about the U17 World Cup and the team's preparations for the tournament, something like that. We also have this so I am not fully sure I could see this passing GNG just from being a help for the U17 World Cup. --ArsenalFan700 (talk) 09:55, 17 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

World Chess Championship 2016

I appreciate your efforts on the crosstable in World Chess Championship 2016, but you can't put 0 in the scores for games that haven't been played yet. That's wrong, and makes the table really hard to read and understand. Leave the cells for unplayed games blank or indicate that the the games haven't been played in some other way. I think that's why the table was deleted from the article earlier today. Quale (talk) 05:39, 12 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
