Welcome![edit]

Hello, Consumingfire1, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Three-R-One, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! GABgab 22:44, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Three-R-One requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. GABgab 22:44, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Butthole Surfers, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. Robvanvee 15:36, 26 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Three-R-One not ready for article space[edit]

Greetings! I see you're starting an article on Three-R-One, but in its current condition it is subject to speedy deletion. Would you like me to move it to Draft:Three-R-One so you have more time to work on it? —C.Fred (talk) 21:23, 18 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:Inspire Youth Rally 2016.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Inspire Youth Rally 2016.jpg, which you've attributed to Jim Mckeral. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 00:21, 20 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please provide citations[edit]

Hello Consumingfire1, I have noticed that you created a number of new articles about or relating to the band Three-R-One, but neglected to add any citations, or references as we sometimes call them, to any of those articles. This means that it is not possible for us to verify that what you have written comes from a reliable source. Please read Wikipedia:Citing sources. Please note that articles about living people must have citations, and are eligible for deletion unless sources are provided. If you need help, consider questions at the Teahouse. Ways to improve TRO Records[edit]

Hi, I'm Mduvekot. Consumingfire1, thanks for creating TRO Records!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. It's difficult to verify that this label even exists. I find no mentions of it anywhere.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Deletion discussion about A New Song (album)[edit]

Hello, Consumingfire1,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether A New Song (album) should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/A New Song (album) .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Article recreation[edit]

Hi there and Welcome to Wikipedia! I just had the unfortunate task of deleting the article you wrote again. From seeing how many times you have recreated the article it is clear to me that you care about this band. I would recommend you try and find some reliable, verifiable, 3rd party sources before considering creating any further articles. If you continue recreating it without asserting why it is notable and meets our criteria for inclusion it will continue to get deleted and you will almost certainly be blocked. If you have any questions, I would be happy to help. Best, Mifter (talk) 00:58, 14 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
