Categorization[edit]

Please note that pages which you create in your own userspace (e.g. User:DSDR tech/Toledo Adolescent Relationships Study (TARS): Wave 1, 2001) are not to be placed in article space categories. I noticed your response on the talk page of the article, just wanted to remind you that you can remove the deletion proposal in the article if you object to deletion (admins should check the talk page for objections before removing an article, but you never know.) Main points:

  • Change username to something unrelated to the company or products.
  • Do disclose your business affiliation on your userpage, but I would suggest dropping that user traffic bit.
  • Don't copy from the companies website, press releases etc., especially not like: help re-engineer the ways in which we provide these services..
  • Be objective, don't use "mission statements" ( at least keep it short ) or language commonly used in those, like continues to introduce new technologies, .. goal continues to work toward, Assist investigators in ensuring that.., Consult and collaborate with data producers to..
  • Have more facts than goals; use existing articles as a examples (the sample articles on the guide page)
  • You need independent sources as reference: articles in magazines or on websites like www.information-management.com, www.dcd.com, www.datacentremanagement.com (the first google results for "data magazine", maybe not the best examples). In this specific case, maybe sources related to the project could be considered acceptable, I don't know, but you will at least have to link to specific publications that contain the information you're referencing.
  • ask for help and use noticeboards to get advice from experienced editors. ( I have no experience at all, so use the guide page as main reference, not my comments ... )

Hello,
