Issues on Sparkle's page[edit]

(moved here from User talk:Justlettersandnumbers) Hi Justlettersandnumbers, I'm writing to you about the issues on Sparkle - Pro Visual Web Design. Sorry for the problems. I'm one of the authors of the software (I've added to my user page), I just wanted to create a neutral page about this software since similar pages for similar products exists (e.g. the ones listed in List of HTML editors). I know that articles from people close to the subject is discouraged by Wikipedia, but I hope that users will change/improve it, the article I wrote just wanted to be a starting point. I think the article is written in a neutral form, but if it is not please let me know. The first version of the article (that has completely rewritten) received a number of issues, I think some of them could be removed if possible. Thanks for your patience. dannyturmoils (talk). — Preceding undated comment added 14:56, 10 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! Yes, I understood from your username that you are one of the authors of the software (I speak Italian). Thank you for the declaration on your user page. As I think you know, you have what we call a conflict of interest at the Sparkle page. Conflict-of-interest editors are strongly discouraged from editing the article directly, but are always welcome to propose changes on the talk page (i.e., Talk:Sparkle - Pro Visual Web Design). A good first step would be to add there a number of independent reliable sources with substantial in-depth coverage of the topic which demonstrate its notability – otherwise it is likely to be deleted.
