Remove italics in implementation notes link

Kamilalibhat, hi. I think as long as you can understand I might not be able to get back to you quickly, I'm happy to take you on as a adoptee. I generally see adopting as a informal process, so I have no structure or anything in particular. My talk page is open to your questions.
To answer your question, closing a sockpuppet investigation happens when everything that is needed has been done such as blocks (if needed), tagging socks (if needed), requesting global locks (if needed) or any other matter directly related to the report and the socks reported. A closed case is technically provisionally closed and can be reopened if necessary. Once a case is archived to the /Archive subpage, then a case has been fully closed. There is a bit of a backlog at SPI at the moment and so your report may not be dealt with for a while. I'll have a look at your report now though. Kamilalibhat, votes by IP addresses are not excluded in AfD, but it is important to note that AfD's are not votes. This is because the policy or guideline based arguments behind the votes, and not the number of votes itself, should be used to determine consensus on what action to take. This means if an IP makes a well thought out policy based argument for a particular action, their vote has more weight than a experienced editor who only makes a vote without justification or evidence. Reports of a problematic IP/account which is vandalizing are best dealt with at WP:AIV as although I may happen to be online at the time and may deal with it before it is dealt with at AIV, reports at AIV are seen and dealt with quicker. Thank you for your comprehensive tidying up of this editor’s socks and their contributions. As you may have seen at User:Arjayay/W sock I have been tracking this editor for some time.
I hope you don't mind me approaching you directly, some admins do, but you are familiar with this case, and in my experience with other sock-masters, if they can be hit quickly, they tend to lose enthusiasm, whereas SPI can take a long time

Arjayay, I'll probably file a case for this, as I generally like having cases for accounts where the sockmaster isn't an LTA. Arjayay, its possible that they have moved from using that IP since the range block. I can't say whether a wider range block will effect them. If they make further IP edits and are found, then I can make further range blocks as appropriate. I suggest that if you want a range block, you file a SPI requesting CU with the request to apply appropriate range blocks. RandomCanadian, hi. This sockmaster is usually detectable due to their creations which are now deleted. They also make other edits to attempt to disguise the tell-tale signs, which included the edit to Zack Snyder. I wouldn't say that this is related to Saqlainify based on the edits at the moment, but if they create any promotional spam articles, then do feel free to notify me. Kammill, hi. I think this article does need more references and have done some cleanup to the article. The references to the websites only linked to the homepage of the news organization, which did not support the material it was being used to reference. I removed these references, as what is needed is a direct URL to the article published by the news organization to support the information. I haven't checked whether the books support the information they reference. Although most statements have an inline reference, the article itself could do with a few more references which are independent and reliable before it can be considered to have enough references. Kammill, in short yes. However, if there is an English Wikipedia article it should be linked to instead of the Hindi Wikipedia article. If the English Wikipedia does not have the article yet, it is preferable to link to the title on the English Wikipedia as a redlink and also next to it link the Hindi Wikipedia article. This is because an English speaking reader may be confused when, after clicking the wikilink, they end up reading the article they want to read in Hindi.
The template {{interlanguage link}} can be used to provide a redlink and a link to the Hindi Wikipedia article. You provide in the first parameter the name of the article in English (which is redlinked), then the language code for Hindi (which is "hi") and then the article title for the article on the Hindi Wikipedia. This template replaces the wikilink present on the page and in this case would be {{interlanguage link|Baderi (gram panchayat)|lt=Baderi|hi|बड़ेरी}}. Kammill, April Fool's day on Wikipedia is where editors will make jokes and pranks on Wikipedia. This can include creating joke AfD nominations, creating joke RfAs for users (including already existing administrators) and joke requested move discussions. It is based on the idea of April Fool's day and happens on the day of April Fools (1 April), however, not all April Fool jokes or pranks made follow the format of a traditional April Fool's joke (i.e. joke or prank followed by "April Fools!"). Further, these jokes are usually inside jokes with at least some level of irony. Any discussions opened as an April Fools joke (such as a joke RfA or AfD) are usually closed soon after the end of the day (end of day being 00:00 2 April UTC).
April Fools on Wikipedia is rather controversial, as several editors disagree with the idea while others want it to continue. It is important to note that several rules exist surrounding April Fools, which are detailed at Wikipedia:Rules for Fools. @NinjaRobotPirate: Just wanted to note for you both – the Draft:Trace Cureton Wikipedia page was linked on the home page and elsewhere on tracecureton.com. I noted this here before approaching either of you and now the link on the home page is gone. See here and here for archives of the website. My point being, as both of you probably gather: 1) Youngjtdyt and/or Ausbasketvic must be directly connected to the subject, or 2) either or both users quite possibly might be Trace Cureton himself or they have access to his website. Kammill, probationary members are those who are part of the Articles for creation WikiProject and can use the helper script, but are only part of the project for a set time and they can be removed without discussion for behavior or actions which would mean their membership should be revoked (e.g. accepting drafts for undisclosed payments). The decision to make a user a probationary user is the decision of the administrator who responds to the membership request. Once the probationary period is up, an administrator can choose to remove the user, extended their probationary period or make them a full member. Recall

Kammill, if you are talking about administrator recall, then recall is a informal and non-binding process where individual administrators by choice say that if certain criteria are met they will resign as an administrator. The administrator will define a number of steps to be taken. All a editor would need to do is follow these steps, and as long as they are all completed and satisfied, the administrator would ask to resign. This removal is seen as "under a cloud", so to get the tools again they would need to have another WP:RfA. However, an administrator could pull out of the process at any point including after all the steps are completed. It requires that an administrator keeps their word. This is not the only way for an administrator to have their tools removed. At the moment the only way for an administrator to have their tools removed without them resigning is for the Arbitration Committee to remove them. There is a proposal which is being considered by the community to create a process where the community can remove the tools from an administrator, which is at WP:DESYSOP2021. Definitely wasn't advocating salting draft, sorry if that wasn't clear. Unrelated, but while we're here and since you're way more versed in some of the socks, is there an editor who usually creates articles about his own "films" that are YouTube? Special:Contributions/GabrielCombs seems familiar, but I can't place it. There is a channel and he appears to exist, but I can't see how these are in any way legit as they'd be trademark violations, among other issues. Getting more members signing up is a good idea, however your message does not clearly menion the action point. "Add your name as a participant" — then what? Would send another message to them to start the monthly collaboration? From my experience of both successful and failed attempts on monthly collaborations, I feel what you need is: a) get the event page ready, b) notify the noticeboard and the list members to suggest/voice on the nominations, c) start the editing work of the month. As step 0) you can inform the noticeboard that you are interested to work on this, and see if anyone wants to join you or offer any suggestion. Hulged, yes. Discretionary sanctions can be applied by either the Arbitration Committee or the community. For an editor to be sanctioned under these discretionary sanctions they need to be "aware" of the existence of said discretionary sanctions. Being aware includes having another editor post on your talk page with a standard notice for that area. The rules around awareness are complicated, but are detailed here. These discretionary sanctions can be used by an administrator to sanction someone for behavior after they were aware for the purposes of the sanctions, and also place page restrictions (including protecting the page, revert restrictions and other restrictions which are considered useful for the smooth running of Wikipedia). These restrictions cannot be lifted by anyone except the administrator who placed them (if they are still an administrator), at AN by having a clear consensus of uninvolved editors, at AE by having a clear consensus of uninvolved administrators, or at ARCA by the passing of a motion.
You won't be sanctioned using the discretionary sanctions until you are aware and then are disruptive in the area which you are aware has discretionary sanctions. Sock puppet at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Clarification and Amendment

After the block, I struck their comment following Wikipedia:Dealing with sockpuppets#Striking because other users (such as myself) referred to this long statement in which this publisher tried to argue their books should be used because of the "devastating long-term impact of postwar communist disinformation warfare" in other sources. This strikeout was reverted by Volunteer Marek (who has also taken upon himself to restore PR material (literally taken from the press kit of the publisher) introduced by the sock). Per WP:BITE and WP:AGF, I think it is more likely we are dealing with two people editing from the shared IP than with any nefarious socking that requires striking. Well, at least when the two accounts affiliated with the Aquila Polonica are involved. Or if it is one person, then their statements can be combined; that should be clarified as it is a bit confusing. As for the restored content, it is perfectly fine per WP:SPS. We can cite the publisher's statement about their own book. Although I'd suggest changing the reference from the press release to the quoted book page. Piotrus, confirmation from a checkuser is more than just sharing the same IP address. This also includes matching user agent strings, so it is probable that these users are the same person, otherwise these two people are using the same computer and same browser. Hulged, clerk training, in a broad sense, is the training of a trainee clerk. I can be more specific if you mention which type of clerk you are asking about. SPI clerk training is where a checkuser trains their trainee clerk in the procedures and ways of SPI. Arbitration clerk training is where a trainee clerk gets on-the-job experience how to clerk, with non-trainee clerks and arbs looking over their shoulder to make sure they are doing things right. Hulged, not necessarily. Being an admin as a SPI clerk helps, but SPI clerks who are not admins can recommend administrators take action like blocking or protecting which they cannot do. Knowing when it is appropriate to block as a SPI clerk, even if you are a non admin, is useful for determining what action is best to recommend to the administrator. First motion can't pass either

The first motion (instant desysop) can't pass either. There are five oppose votes and three support votes. There are 12 active arbitrators, but Beeblebrox has recused so actually only 11. Even if the 3 remaining arbitrators would vote first choice, it would give that motion 6 support votes with one of them being second choice and another being third choice. The motion to suspend (3 months) already exceeds this with 10 support votes, two of which are second choice. If the eleventh arbitrator would oppose that motion it wouldn't change anything either. Actually the mystery eleventh arbitrator appears to be David Fuchs who has already voted and appears to have intentionally skipped on voting on the suspend (3 months) motion. — Alexis Jazz (talk or ping me) 06:29, 7 April 2021 (UTC)

Alexis Jazz, hi. The first motion could still technically pass. If the fourth motion and the third motion receive majority opposition (pretty much not going to happen, but it still could happen) and then the other arbitrators who have not voted vote in support of the first motion, the first motion would pass. A motion cannot pass when there is a majority to oppose the motion as arbitrator(s) would have to change their vote (or cannot pass when a competing motion passes, but this relies on the competing motion passing). Otherwise it still technically can pass if further arbitrators vote / other motions fail. My understanding is that the fourth motion is the one that will be passed and enacted, but the arbitrators wanted to give a bit more time for votes and comments from other arbitrators. I see you adjusted the numbers, it used to say 7 is a majority. If the three remaining arbitrators had supported the first motion, it would be passing but overruled by the motion to suspend which has greater support. Supreme Deliciousness, GPinkerton is banned from making any edits, as a site ban relates only to editing. The remedy to ban GPinkerton did not also say that their email access should be disabled, and as such they are allowed to use Special:Email. If they abuse it, then email access may be removed. Supreme Deliciousness, as a general case, per WP:PROXYING, editors are not allowed to make edits on the direction of a blocked or banned editor unless the change is good and it can be shown the editor has independent reasons for making the edits. However, per WP:NOTBURO, just because there isn't a rule against it doesn't mean it doesn't violate the spirit of the ban. I would say that GPinkerton shouldn't be making requests for other users to edit. A site ban means you shouldn't be editing Wikipedia. Help supplying a copy of a deleted page

Hey, a sandbox article for an off-wikipedia project was recently deleted for the "Wikipedia is not a web host" policy. I understand that the the sandbox isn't intended for non-related work. However, the content on the page is mildly important to me. I noticed that I could simply ask an admin/sysop who is willing to provide a copy. If you are willing to supply a copy of User:BigCheese76/sandbox, it would be appreciated. I understand what I did broke Wikipedia policy, and so, if I am given a copy, will use the copy to copy and paste the contents of the article onto a seperate website, such as Google Docs. If you could provide a copy for a short time it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Maineartists, because the article is categorised in Category:20th-century American musicians. This means that, unless the categorisation made by someone else was wrong, the article is about a musician. In this case I don't think this article is about a musician and as such it's inclusion in the category back in 2015 doesn't seem to be right, so I'll revert my bot and remove the category. I've blocked the bot, as I don't know many of the individuals on the recent contribution list with "actor" and "director" disambiguators and do not want to review them all. Muboshgu, the list of categories the bot uses to decide if someone is a musician is at User:Dreamy_Jazz_Bot/Task_4.3/musician_categories. They are all subcats of Category:Musicians though I agree that not all Grammy Award winners are necessarily musicians they are awards to "recognize achievement in the music industry". I've removed the grammy award's category and will momentarily revert the incorrect edits.
Also the bot hadn't edited in 4 hours before you blocked (the laptop running it had it's power cable pulled out accidentially so ran out of battery), so although I don't question the reasoning for the block I would say that such a block wasn't needed if the bot wasn't editing. Also, I would have appreciated if you had used the bots shutoff pages which are listed at the top of it's userpage and in the task table. For this task this is User:Dreamy Jazz Bot/shutoff/Task 4.3 or User:Dreamy Jazz Bot/shutoff (the all tasks one). Placing any content there stops the task from making any more edits and is less major than directly blocking, but as you blocked there is no need for content in them now. I did not know about shutoff pages, so I'll keep that in mind for the future. I only just learned with this incident that the big red shutoff button on bot pages is blocking the bot. Muboshgu, I'm doing the removal semi-automatically with AWB search and replace rules to revert the bot's 350 last edits (which are where the wrong categorization has been based on my inspection) using my account. I'm also going to add to the bot's edit summary the category which led it to believe a page was about a musician. This will make it easier for other editors to understand why the bot tagged someone. In case anyone is wondering, I've explain in further detail why the bot made the edits. The grammy award category is a subcategory of Category:Musicians and as I thought when filtering out the list that grammy awards were for musicians only, I didn't see an issue about using this category. However, as evidenced, this isn't always the case and as such music awards can be for non-musicians too (for example for record producers). To be on the safe side, I've removed any category from the list which is to do with awards. This includes ones which are musician categories (such as grammy award for best song) as music awards in general seem to be a grey area (i.e. possibly for both musicians and non-musicians). I also removed musical groups from the list as when the bot processed a bunch of those categories it only found 2 articles which were for groups but were about a person too, so processing these categories is less useful and there could be an argument to be made that a non-musician person who is related to the band could be in the category about the musical group. I'm going to start the bot again. The bot is based off categories, and as such mis-categorised articles may lead to incorrect tagging. As I'm now including what category made the bot tag a page in the edit summary for each bot edit, it should be clear as to which category caused the bot to edit (and as such which to remove). For example, if someone is categorised as a trumpeter but they are not a musician by trade this may be seen as an issue. However, the category should only be there if there are reliable sources to support it's inclusion and as such if the bot did tag a non-musician the category on the article also should be removed. Question

A user I have never interacted with has put that they hate me on their user page. I thought maybe it was a joke involving the USERNAME template but I checked the source and it is attacking me personally. What puzzles me further is that upon further investigation saying that was their third edit on Wikipedia. I have never interacted with this user and I do not know why they would say such a thing. I have a feeling this might be a sock of someone like WarpedMask4801/DarwinandBrianEdits but I do not know and do not have enough information to go to the sock report page. I also don’t know if this is enough to take to ANI. And based on their pure hatred of me out of nowhere I also don’t think asking them about it on their talk page or removing the message would lead anywhere. Hi! You might want to merge Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Homesand (you just closed) into Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Lass-Lass where DUCK evidence was presented for the link to Lass-Lass. DaxServer, the checkuser tool per policy cannot be used to connect IP addresses to accounts except in cases of serious distruption, and even then a checkuser disclosing the IP address of an editor is an exceedingly rare occurrence. Changing tags from suspected to confirmed, although useful for record purposes, doesn't help in preventing the sockmaster in any way. When the evidence is obvious enough running a checkuser, unless it is to check for sleeper accounts, is unnecessary as it's already clear that this IP or account is block evading. Although multiple confirmations can lead to WP:3X bans, often a sockmaster such as Atharv Bakshi is unlikely to request an unblock anyway so the difference between a ban and a block becomes little to nothing. Filter 1153

See the notes at 1153 (hist · log). Basically, anytime you're dealing with substed templates or signatures, Special:AbuseFilter/test is useless, because it's putting added_lines_pst (the wikitext after substations have taken place) in added_lines (normally exactly what's in the edit form). This is probably unfixable; the contents of added_lines are discarded once the edit saves; so unless another filter was tripped there's nowhere for /test to recover it from. Certainly, it would be possible to also test for reversions like that one. But I'm guessing the warning would be useless; the user is obviously really determined to file the report by that point. Yeah, the intent is to warn the newer users who may be on mobile etc. and wouldn't have seen the edit intro when filing the case. Its an extra step to provide guidance before filing a premature case request. If they have decided to revert the removal (which is usually done by clerk anyway) I don't think any number of warnings would stop them. Thanks again for noticing this. From what I can see they are notable enough for a Wikipedia article and per WP:LUC the subject of an article doesn't have an special rights over it. Morning! This same question about this article came up before (probably by the same editor), but for the life of me, I can't locate the thread. Firstly, the article is notable, with the subject playing multiple times for the national team (see WP:NFOOTY). Secondly, looking at the edit history and the user's talkpage, I think the main issue is around the second paragraph the situation about the subject's asylum in Sweden. This was added here. Maybe the simple solution is to remove just this paragraph? @JTtheOG: - what are your thoughts? And thirdly, this article exists on three other wikis too (IT, PL, PT). Thanks. Dengatk, hello. Wikipedia has notability guidelines which mean that a person, such as Kingdmusic, needs to be considered notable enough for a standalone article for it to be created. In this case the general notability guideline and the musicians notability guideline should to be met for Kingdmusic to have a standalone article. Simply this means that Kingdmusic needs to have been significantly (i.e. more than just a passing mention) covered in multiple independent and reliable sources, and also should have met one of the items in the musicians notability guideline. If you think that Kingdmusic is notable enough for an article then you can request it at Wikipedia:Requested articles. Alternatively if you want to create it yourself you can start it at Draft:Kingdmusic and then when you want to submit it for review add {{subst:submit}} at the top of the draft. If you do create the draft, then I suggest citing the independent and reliable sources as this makes it easier to show notability and also ensures what you write is backed up by sources.

Recent changes

  • The tool to find, add and remove templates was updated. This is to make it easier to find and use the right templates. It was supposed to come to the first wikis on 7 July. It was delayed to 12 July instead. It will come to more wikis later this year. [17][18]
  • Special:UnconnectedPages lists pages that are not connected to Wikidata. This helps you find pages that can be connected to Wikidata items. Some pages should not be connected to Wikidata. You can use the magic word __EXPECTED_UNCONNECTED_PAGE__ on pages that should not be listed on the special page. [19]

Changes later this week

  • Recurrent item The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 20 July. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 21 July. It will be on all wikis from 22 July (calendar).

Future changes

  • Advanced item How media is structured in the parser's HTML output will soon change. This can affect bots, gadgets, user scripts and extensions. You can read more. You can test it on Testwiki or Testwiki 2.
  • Advanced item The parameters for how you obtain tokens in the MediaWiki API were changed in 2014. The old way will no longer work from 1 September. Scripts, bots and tools that use the parameters from before the 2014 change need to be updated. You can read more.

IP, notability on Wikipedia is generally defined by whether the subject has had significant coverage in multiple reliable and independent sources. In this case the important bit is that multiple of these independent and reliable sources are needed to establish that this person is notable enough for a standalone article. Your draft only included one source, the AP obituary, which met this significant coverage. The Facebook link, as far as I could tell, was not accessible to me and also was just a photo. To ensure that the level of notability is reached you need to find and include multiple of these independent and reliable sources. Perhaps it would be a good idea to find source(s) which supports her being the first-ever all female masthead at a newspaper (as you have said above) and include this with the source(s) in the article.
Wikipedia's notability doesn't necessarily translate 1 to 1 to real life notoriety or notability. It is used to determine mostly if the subject has enough reliable and independent sources to write a neutral and factually correct article on the subject. For example, the obituary may have an incorrect statement and without other sources this incorrect statement may go unnoticed. With more sources this statement is more likely to be noted as contradictory.
In regards to your question about what qualifies as a valid source, sources for determining notability should be independent (i.e. the source is not written by the person or someone connected with the person), reliable (i.e. that the source is seen as reliable enough to be used to source a large part of the article), secondary sources (i.e. a source which evaluates primary sources), and also cover the subject in a significant way (i.e. the source should talk about the subject directly and in detail). Hi! First, I want to thank you for helping me submit my Ofra draft again! However, it was declined by one of the people who previously reviewed the article. They said it was more neutral, but then said my sources were the same, but I've added and changed sources since the last time they reviewed it. I have multiple sources that fit the wikipedia citations guidelines, so I'm not quite sure what else they want when Ofra is clearly notable. I have two, independent scholarly articles that conduct a deep analysis on the company and its brand strategy that are both from a 3rd party. I also have sources from newspapers. reliable news sites, and notable website that are independent and completely 3rd party. Oh she reviewed my previous article "Mardi Paws." I've been told that fewer reliable and solid sources is much better than having a lot of weak sources, so I'm hesitant to add anything. I have scholarly articles, secondary news sources, etc, and I already have about 20 sources. I'm not sure why or how I could add more when just a few is encourage, and i already have more than a few. I know she can better answer, but I've found some reviewers aren't specific in their corrections, but you've helped me once, and were super clear, so I just thought to get your opinion as well. DS double tagging

Irish RepublicanMedia (talk · contribs) was soft blocked and requested a rename to BalearicSunrise (talk · contribs) but then went ahead and registered the new username and started using it. IRM had a DS notice for the troubles. BS is editing in the same area so I gave them a DS notice too. It seems a grey area between double tagging the same person (probably) and ensuring that the second account was aware. Not sure how it falls from an Arbcom rules perspective. (talk page watcher) Cabayi, I don't see anything too wrong with that, though this is definitely IAR territory. I'd say that the second notice makes it clear for anyone who doesn't check the past account that they have in fact been notified. GeneralNotability (talk) 13:55, 13 August 2021 (UTC)
Although GN has given a good answer, my response to this would be alerts apply per editor (and thus per person) and not per account. As such they are formally aware. However, the DS alert filter log which is used to check if a editor is formally aware doesn't show this previous alert under their new username. Although the accounts may be clearly linked, a passing editor may miss the previous alert which isn't desirable.
Therefore, I think that IAR applies here. For example, if DS is likely to be used to warn/sanction the editor placing the alert again for the entry to show up in the log will likely prevent confusion or misunderstanding. However this may not be needed for a constructive editor who had the alert simply because they edit in the topic area. Regardless, an editor in good faith placing an alert on a new account before the 12 months is up cannot be seen as disruptive in my eyes. Problems

  • Musical scores were unable to render lyrics in some languages because of missing fonts. This has been fixed now. If your language would prefer a different font, please file a request in Phabricator. [20]

Changes later this week

  • Advanced item The parameters for how you obtain tokens in the MediaWiki API were changed in 2014. The old way will no longer work from 1 September. Scripts, bots and tools that use the parameters from before the 2014 change need to be updated. You can read more about this.
  • Recurrent item The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 31 August. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 1 September. It will be on all wikis from 2 September (calendar).

Future changes

  • You will be able to read but not edit Commons for a few minutes on 6 September. This will happen around 05:00 UTC. This is for database maintenance.
  • All wikis will be read-only for a few minutes in the week of 13 September. More information will be published in Tech News later. It will also be posted on individual wikis in the coming weeks. [21]

Sock?

This is wrt to this SPI. You let it go under good-faith, given that Zekewoks (talk · contribs) doesn't edit again. On 30th August, Cactinites claimed that Penacurt (talk · contribs) was another one of their accounts, just hours after refusing the existence of any other account (also denied while the SPI was open), although they haven't used it since the SPI. An IP has also claimed that Steadtaut (talk · contribs) and Starksulk (talk · contribs) are Cactinites' accounts; they do have similar contributions.

Apart from this, there needs to some reprimand for or action against User talk:86.143.34.127 for going around and badgering Cactinites on different talk pages, literally threatening them of consequences unless they accept, while being well aware of the appropriate process to follow. There is also Special:Contributions/2409:4063:4185:8BF6:D89B:92C:B483:B6E6/64, Special:Contributions/110.227.118.224 and Special:Contributions/27.57.72.0, who for some reason have found Cactinites and Penacurt and initiated the exact same conversations 86.143 was doing.

Protection request

@Dreamy Jazz: Can you please protect List of Seventh-day Adventists. My reason I'm sick and tired of IP's adding names to this list without references, to me are these people being added really Seventh-day Adventist? Former Seventh-day Adventist? Or just just raised in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Also adding names more then once to this list and not putting people in alphabetical order is a problem. And putting people who should not be added to this list. To me if IP's want names to be added to this list, they should make their request on the talk page of this article. I've been trying to improve this list for a few years know, sadly this virus has slowed me down. Catfurball (talk) 18:02, 2 September 2021 (UTC)

I'm not sure that I would protect the page at the moment. There are constructive edits being made (unless I'm wrong) and the edit rate is very slow. As such only longer lengths of page protection would be effective at preventing vandalism, but this also has the side effect of preventing constructive edits. I would suggest going to the requests for page protection page and making a request there if you feel that page protection is needed. Reply-link officially superseded by DiscussionTools

Hi! Reply-link has officially been superseded by mw:DiscussionTools, which you can install using the "Discussion tools" checkbox under Preferences → Beta features. DiscussionTools, developed by the WMF's Editing Team, is faster and has more features than reply-link, and it wouldn't make sense for me to keep developing reply-link.
