Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Gamers: The Movie‎, without explaining the reason for the removal in the edit summary. Persistent promotion of Gamers: The Movie

Your entire edit history at Wikipedia suggests you may have a conflict of interest regarding Gamers: The Movie and its director, Chris Folino. Both articles are your creations and every one of your edits appears to promote the film or Folino. Whoville, this is my first article. I have nothing to gain in writing about these subjects. It's merely the first article I've ever done here and it has been a learning process. I wanted to start out with a smaller subject and learn it before I tackled larger subjects. I am learning a lot about referencing and proper notation. And thanks to feedback from people like you I am learning you SHOULDN'T cross reference everything. Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you SineBot. I am a novice on Wikipedia. This is my first article. None of my edits were intended to "promote" the film. I doubt that an encyclopedia is the place to do that anyway. I did think this was a good movie and an up-and-coming director that did not have a previous insertion. I assumed you linked everything that was in an article. If that is wrong, I am willing to make that correction. But the film and author has won more critical acclaim than many other movies on this site and I believe it is justified in being here. I have no financial interest in this movie. I hope that my mistakes do not jeopardize what is otherwise a justified and critically acclaimed--Encyclopedia Mike (talk) 06:26, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

The process is explained at WP:COIN; Wikipedia's definition of conflict of interest is at WP:COI. It's up to another editor to determine whether there's a conflict and mark the issue as resolved. So far, the comments of two other editors suggest they're unconvinced a conflict exists although one remarked that your edits "look like examples of spamming."
