A heads-up
I didn't notice your edit summary for this edit - "this is really poorly written and probably doesn't need it's own article". Some wikipedia contributors are one step above functionally illiterate. At the other end of the spectrum we have contributors as capable as the best professional writers working today.
I am under no illusion that I fall somewhere in between. I never thought my writing measured up to the quality of the best writers of today.
However, our policies don't require this. Poorly written articles are not supposed to be deleted, they are supposed to be improved, or marked for improvement.
In what looks like your final comment about 14th Street busway at Talk:14th Street (Manhattan)#Proposed merge with 14th Street busway you wrote: "... but feel that the RS's don't justify the standalone notability of the bus lanes."
Clarification please. Are you referring to the RS already included in the 14th Street busway? IMO that would wrong, terribly wrong. The notability of topics should be assessed by looking at ALL the available references. I barely scratched the surface. 00:25, 2 September 2019 (UTC)
- @Geo Swan: Don't sweat it that much. When I was first looking at the article, there were lots of grammatical errors, but most of these are now fixed. In regards to the sources mentioned in my comment - no, I wasn't referring to the existing sources in the 14th Street busway article. I was referring to sources in general (like those that have been published already), which i feel are focused mostly on 14th Street itself, or the L train shutdown. The busway is really only a secondary afterthought. That's my opinion anyway. But your argument to disagree is made of pretty good points, so lets leave it at that. epicgenius (talk) 01:43, 2 September 2019 (UTC)

Well done. I see you have a few nominations that have been hanging around a while. I like your work, so I'd be happy to look at some of the older nominations if you wish, but I am aware that I can be a little strict and picky, so I'm not the easiest of reviewers to work with. Let me know if you want me to look at one or more of your older nominations. SilkTork (talk) 08:24, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
- @SilkTork: Thanks. I appreciate it. I do have one nitpick though - the bolt image should probably be in the article, if only to provide context for the main "Planning" subsection. epicgenius (talk) 13:24, 5 September 2019 (UTC)
- My view is always that I am passing or failing the article at the time of the review. Obviously there will be edits afterwards, so if you wish to put the image back, I wouldn't have a problem with that. And I agree with you that there is encyclopedic value to the image. I just looked, and I like what you have done - the two images are there, and they are not spilling over into the next section. Nice one! SilkTork (talk) 16:36, 5 September 2019 (UTC)

- @Cards84664: On the Seventh Avenue station's article, I see the following:
Station succession Next north Jay Street–MetroTech (express): F limited rush-hour trips in the peak direction Bergen Street (express): no regular service Fourth Avenue (local): F all times <F> two rush hour trains, peak direction G all times
- The express entry shows a plain "F" icon for express, not a diamond as of yet. I did that because it would be less work than to create all of the header templates with "F <F>". Anyway, there's a discussion at WT:NYCS that you may be interested in. epicgenius (talk) 16:17, 16 September 2019 (UTC)

Flatbush map
Thanks for your edit. Flatbush though also includes Prospect-Lefferts Gardens, which is another subsection of Flatbush. Prospect-Lefferts Garden borders are roughly Ocean Avenue (West), Empire Blvd (North), New York Avenue (East) and roughly Parkside Ave (South) G. Capo (talk) 19:11, 23 September 2019 (UTC)
- G. Capo, no problem. However, there may be differing interpretations of what constitutes the border of greater Flatbush vs. just the parts of Flatbush that aren't in any other neighborhood. Even the borders may differ according to the person you ask. epicgenius (talk) 20:16, 23 September 2019 (UTC)
