Mims (rapper)

About the Mims page, the 2007 album as you can tell, will not be released and it will only be a 2008 album, I've been online and I've found some new songs that may be on the 2008 album, and I want you to find the sources and place them in the upcoming work section and remove the information about that remix album. thank you, Signshare December 23, 2007.

I not sure, but I know the song "We Really Do This," will be on his and Red Cafe's CD, but that one will be his and the song Calabria's single and album version will feature more of his vocals and he will put that on his next CD. I have an inside connection to Mims and a very close source tells me that his next mixtape will have the same title of his album, The Real New York. I cannot tell you who, I just wanna help.

Trust me with this, as the album progresses, I will come back with sources, I have plenty of references, just pleas don't delete my work again. You know, I'm wondering, are you a fan of Mims?

Nas

Hi, your last edit to Nas identified the second para as WP:COPYVIO and deleted it. However, all the copies I can find of the text in that para are in sites that have copied from wikipedia. (apart from the line 'increased commercial success was accompanied by stylistic changes that fostered accusations of "selling out"', which seems lifted from an old version of the Metallica bio o_O). I don't think the article is worse for a bit of trimming, just checking - where was the copy from? --Bazzargh (talk) 03:15, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

warnings for blockage

I recently created a couple pages that weren't in the sandbox. These were nothing articles but I just wanted to see if the way i was writing things would work (correct linking etc.). However, before I could delete them they were speedied by you and I was given several warnings, for not deleting them in time. I am deeply sorry for this btw and it won't happen again. How can i better prove Sanford Bigger's significance/importance?

He is a major American artist who just had a show at D'Amelio Terras Gallery in New York, which was advertised in Artforum magazine. One of his artworks, Hip-Hop Ni Sasagu, is currently up at Tate Modern in London, one of the most reputable museums world-wide. How should i change the article to better prove his significance/importance? {{helpme}} Quick question. If I want to create content for an article that was previously deleted but it's protected, do I have to wait until the protection expires (it has an expiration date) or can I simply remove it?

I'm not sure. I think it would depend on why the page was protected. I don't really know why we would have temporary protection on a deleted page. Was it protected before deletion? Bovlb (talk) 01:12, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Aside: You can't REMOVE a protection yourself. An admin has to do it. (I'm not one, though I'm working on it.)

It sounds like the page you want to create was "salted" as the result of being deleted multiple times, often for the same or a similar reason, and often as the result of an WP:AFD discussion. You can wait until the protection expires, or you may request unprotection. If you choose to request unprotection, it would be very advisable to have an article already written on a subpage to show administrators that the article you plan to write does not have the same problems as previous incarnations of the article. Writing the article ahead of time will also make them more willing to release the protection early, as that means there is less time for a vandal to create the page first. Heh, my apologies, I didn't realize you were an administrator. I'd still recommend requesting that another admin release the protection, simply because that avoids any chance of someone claiming a WP:COI. Provided your article doesn't have the same issues as the previous versions, though, I doubt there should be any problem with you creating the new article ahead of the scheduled protection expiration.
