Your edits on the wiggity wack Sonic Movie

[edit]

You need to stop reverting the budget info back to $95M. No source has been cited to support it. I already reverted your edit for the same issue twice, see here and see here. If you persist, it would be considered vandalism by this point and you may find yourself blocked. You have been warned. Armegon (talk) 23:34, 17 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of American films of 2021, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Brian Lynch (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Revert of move from draftspace

[edit]

Hi, I reverted your move of Draft:List of American films of 2022 into mainspace. The article was originally moved into draftspace pursuant to an AfD that was closed with a consensus that the article not be restored in mainspace until 2021. Pursuant to the AFD closure, I moved the article back into draft namespace. Thank you. Aoi (青い) (talk) 23:02, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about all that, I just wanted to showcase all the movies that are now coming out in 2022 because of COVID-19 delaying all of them. I just want to people to see what movies are now coming out in 2022 FilmLover72 (talk) 23:03, 24 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. It seems that you may have added public domain content to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as Tenet (film). You are welcome to import appropriate public domain content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. There are several methods to do this described at Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Public-domain sources, including the usage of an attribution template. Please make sure that any public domain content you have already imported is fully attributed. Thank you. BOVINEBOY2008 19:20, 24 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Aquaman (film), you may be blocked from editing. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 13:05, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You need to stop changing sourced content. Wikipedia is written according to what the sources says, not what we believe to be true. When two reliable sources says that "DC Entertainment" produced a film, that's what Wikipedia reports. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 13:07, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Look, in my defense, I was only going off but the official reports that say that the DC films production company was involved with the film Aquaman. And if you don’t believe me you can pretty much go anywhere in Wikipedia and it will say Aquaman was made by DC films, not DC entertainment. Because it is also important to mention that that source that says DC entertainment was one of the production companies pine Aquaman that was before DC films was officially established as a film company. And if you don’t believe me on that then you can look it up for yourself on the DC films Wikipedia page and you can also look on the Aquaman IMDB page. FilmLover72 (talk) 13:10, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I guess we’ll to agree to disagree on this. But l please, look further into the whole Aquaman production company situation. Because I’m pretty sure that DC Films produced it, and not DC Entertainment. (As I said earlier, check the DC Films wiki page of the Aquaman IMDB page.) FilmLover72 (talk) 14:27, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Neither Wikipedia nor the IMDb are reliable sources. They are user-generated, so it doesn't matter what they say. Please do not change content to something not found in the cited source. This violates text–source integrity integrity. If the cited source says one thing, do not change it to say another. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 14:41, 9 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Bill and Ted Face The Music main poster.jpeg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Bill and Ted Face The Music main poster.jpeg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Masem (t) 13:44, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have no idea what any of that means since I'm only 15. User:FilmLover72 (t) 13:50, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

In that case, just don't upload any images. Or you can link them at WT:NFCC and get an OK to upload it before doing so. Copyright violation is a serious legal issue for Wikipedia. If you're not 100 percent sure whether it's acceptable, then don't upload it. Sundayclose (talk) 15:53, 23 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Request to update WandaVision's budget number

[edit]

Now that WandaVision is confirmed as a 9-episode series, can we move up the budget number from "$150 million" to "$225 million", since THR's article on Disney+'s content said each episode of an MCU show cost $25 million to make: https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/features/bob-iger-bets-company-hollywood-s-future-streaming-1247663? Masters of the Universe:Revelation

[edit]

Hi, I saw you asked Sandstein for help with Draft:Masters of the Universe: Revelation. Sandstein isn't really involved here, the only thing he did was to remove a link to the deleted article Man-At-Arms using a script. What happened was, you incorrectly moved the draft to Wikipedia space instead of article space, a move reverted by Black Kite. You can't move it to main space anyway because it already exists, as a redirect to He-Man_and_the_Masters_of_the_Universe#Sequel_series. And to be honest, I think it is best it if stays as a redirect until the series is actually shown and it gets more coverage. Right now there isn't really anything in your draft that is not already in that section in the He-Man article.-- P-K3 (talk) 21:48, 4 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Looking for some advice regarding Draft:Resident Evil (TV series)

[edit]

I don't edit very often and my familiarity with MoS is outdated. I've been following the TV show for the past two years, and while I've uncovered a lot of information on its production, I don't have anything to reliably cite, and press coverage of the show is loaded with inaccuracies. From keeping my eyes out on Production Weekly, actors' Instagram posts and the like I can confirm the following:

  1. Moonlighting Films was responsible for filming in Western Cape. They were filming from March-June, and all the actors went home the first week of July. This contradicts claims by the press that the show hasn't even begun filming yet.
  2. Moose Jaw Productions is responsible for filming in British Columbia. They're a new company founded last October, and according to Production Weekly are to begin next Wednesday. The press thinks all filming will be done in Western Cape, so again I can't cite any journalists as they're misreporting it.
  3. The TV show is being produced under the name "Inkblot" as a title ruse.
  4. Based on a leak, Nunez is likely playing the role of "Carol", while Smart and Balinska, and Rudolph and Agudong are playing the same characters at different ages. Obviously can't source that.
  5. Incidentally, the press is publishing outdated info on the series' plot. A leaked Netflix synopsis described a town called "Clearfield" which doesn't exist in the show that I'm aware of; now can I find anything on an asylum. This is probably a really outdated pitch, since by the time it leaked out they already had finished scripts.
  6. Rob Seidenglanz directed episodes 3 and 4, while Rachel Goldberg directed 5 and 8. They were certainly in Cape Town at the time. IMDb says Kerry Williamson wrote episode 3, but I'm not sure whether Wikipedia takes IMDb as a source. She'd previously tagged all the writers (and showrunner's assistants) on Twitter.

I hope this info is good for the article.-- OsirisV (talk) 18:02, 3 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Secondary sources needed: Tom King and Charles Soule

[edit]

Hi. When adding material to an article, especially if it's in the area for which the subject is notable (like an upcoming work by a writer), please make sure to include citations of secondary sources, and not primary sources. In your recent edit, the citation for the King's upcoming DC Comics book is the publisher themselves, which is inappropriate. In addition to the fact that sources in Wikipedia articles need to primarily be secondary ones, relying on the publisher may violate WP:NOTADVERT. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 13:21, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Please stop adding material supported solely by primary sources, in particular that which goes to a subject's notability, as you did with this edit to Charles Soule. As I explained to you above last month, Wikipedia requires material in an article that goes to the subject's notability to be secondary sources, and not primary sources, both to avoid original research, and to avoid problems of promotionalism. These are core policies, and having accumulated over 3,000 edits in the nearly two years you've been editing here, you should have learned them by now, and should be adhering to them in your editing practices. If you ever have any other questions about editing, or need help regarding the site's policies, just let me know by leaving a message for me in a new section at the bottom of my talk page. Thanks. Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Kyle Higgins into Massive-Verse. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 16:27, 30 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Untitled Mario film, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 18:45, 6 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Joshua Williamson moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Joshua Williamson, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 12:26, 9 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:TheFlashMainPoster.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. -- Alex_21 TALK 23:53, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
