Forerunner Federation (non-profit organization)

History:

Forerunner Federation was founded in 2009 by Andrew Balas in United States. The foundation was inspired by the Balas family’s Transylvanian origin. The Balas family moved to Hungary; however, they always kept Székelyföld close to their hearts. For minorities facing challenges in Transylvania and other countries in the world, this family has always been compassionate. Hence, helping minorities became a life goal to them. In time many other volunteers joined this organization. This is a fully volunteer run nonprofit. The goal of Forerunner Federation is to focus on leadership development, continue traditions, help students conduct a research that will benefit the economy, society or preserve traditions. Forerunner Federation has two fellowship/scholarship. 1. Székely Forerunner Research Fellowship 2. Future Entrepreneurs of the World (FEW-HiB )
